Beautiful property, particularly in the Spring. Views from hot tub and heated pool were wonderful. Great service at front desk and restaurants. Driver gave great suggestions for dining and wine tasting. Great walk nearby at Krenshaw park and Lagoon park.

Beautiful and serene surroundings with luxurious rooms and grounds. We enjoyed the sauna pods at the spa (worth the experience and relaxation). The pool was nice, with drink service and small menu available from the lunch bar. The yoga, stretch and meditation classes were five star. I would recommend visiting for a special occasion, really enjoyed our stay. My only con would be the price of the room on a weekday, and still had to pay extra to use a paddle board.

I loved the clean rooms, fire pits, being right on the lake, the activities on offer, and the boat rentals. Everything is VERY pricy though. I had a lot of fun here but if you want to get the most of out it you have to spend a good amount above what you pay for the room.

Beautiful Property, clean, pool, lake activities (rentals), nicely appointed rooms. Walkable to adjacent park and some other restaurants. Staff is friendly and attentive. I wish they had entertainment for memorial day weekend, sadly they had nothing, which was a missed opportunity. The restaurants on site were nice, good food, my only critique there is that you couldn't just walk into the restaurants without a reservation, or you waited awhile. Even though there were ample tables open, we were told we could sit and eat but we had to be done by a certain time? I understand making reservations, however they need to find a better balance for walk ins / reservations. But all in all a wonderful place, it was a bit pricy.

Property grounds were simply gorgeous and very well maintained! We were greeted with friendliness and smiles from the moment we entered The Lake House, and offered a glass of Riesling! Property also had shuttles to and back from CMAC, which was great for us concert goers! We’d love to come back again!

Every inch of this place is beautiful. And smells heavenly. Excellent food at both rose garden & the sand bar. Adorable s’mores kits for the kids with fires. We loved it!

The pool was sparkling clean and beautifully maintained — perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend this hotel, and we can’t wait to come back!

The overall cleanliness of the room was fine. The choice of a leather seat with an obvious butt stain was a little gross. The only garbage can was in the bathroom, so trash built up over 2 days (personal choice not to have room serviced due to working in room all day). The bathroom was great. The property is on a beautiful lake and has all the amenities one would want for a long weekend/short vacation. The rooms and overall property is very dirty however. Even after we requested the room to get cleaned there were q-tips, random dirt towels on the floor, dirty bathroom. The spa area and bathrooms in the main building are quite dingy as well. We have noted this to the receptionist but were completely ignored. Could be a real 4 star hotel but needs to take cleanliness more seriously.

The property was overall nice, but i had some concerns when I saw human hair all over the shower wall in our suite. Also our couch had few stains and when asked to clean it they came to clean it. Cleanliness is very important for me so it disturbed me to see stains in the sofa and hair in the shower. In the shower the water flow was very strong and it would spill and also accumulate on the floor for a while. Beside that , i wish they had slippers available in the room. In room dining was not too great. We asked a plate a cheese and for 39$ it was very scarce. We did enjoy The Rose tavern for dining. The food was tasty and the service very nice.

I had high hopes for our stay but was a bit disappointed. My wife and I went here for a quick getaway to celebrate our 25th anniversary. At first glance the property is beautiful and in an amazing lakefront location. Our room though, which was around $650/night was disappointing. For that price I expect things to be amazing. We had bathroom issues right off the bat. It had a terrible musty odor. The sink I was using was completely plugged and wouldn't drain so maybe that's where it came from. There's absolutely no way the cleaning person didn't know this before we checked in. There were also several light bulbs burned out ,(one in the bathroom next to the clogged sink) and again, there's no way the cleaner wasn't aware of it. How much effort does it take to report this to maintenance. Also, the couch, which was white cotton, was stained all over. If you're going to have white furniture then you might want to occasionally clean it. I actually wasn't comfortable even sitting on it. The room did have a Nespresso machine but we were only given decaf coffee pods for it. At $650 /night it would take very little effort to fix these issues. Maybe we got a lemon of a room and I hope that's the case because I can't imagine people will return or recommend a property that let's the basic expectations of a high-end resort be completely disregarded. That said, the public areas were well kept and the grounds very nice.

The Lake House has left nothing to chance! The rooms are so well appointed and the lake view balconies complete with Adirondack chairs invite you to relax. Love the open lobby, versatile library for coffee or cocktails. The restaurants are delicious and the service is impeccable. Don’t miss the charm of the evening s’mores at the fire pit. Oh and the seasonal plantings are exquisite. A wonderful relaxing weekend getaway. Thank you LH. We’ll return❤️

The facility needs to be updated to be a modern first class destination. The rooms are missing some of the basic that are found in most every decent hotel. The shower didn't work properly, no trash can, no hair dryer, only 2 hangers in the closet etc. For the price we will find another first class location..

Property and staff were amazing. The place has a lot to offer. Unfortunately the rooms are not sound proof at all. Maybe because there are no carpets, but we could hear our neighbors from next door and above us. Chairs being slid on floors, dogs barking, people talking loud and walking with hard steps above us. Not a good sleeping experience at all. I mentioned this in a survey by the resort and they didn’t even respond. Go there for the day but don’t stay the night.

I also like the texting concierge - just had 1 issue where we asked for a travel crib and it was not put in the room and we were traveling with our baby and had to wait 45min to put him to bed…

Definitely Luxury, but needs to fine tune a few things room and reservation related. The bedroom was at least 5 degrees warmer than the sitting room. Bed was far too soft. There was only one tiny garbage can in the bathroom for the whole suite. No fan in toilet closet. Pocket doors were off rails. Despite the quick response from maintenance, there was a significant gap between the two doors adding to a lack of privacy. Double check your reservation that someone has not booked the late night bar and restaurant. I was very unhappy to hear that when I came back from a concert at 10:30 that the bar was closed to me for a private event. I booked a VIP stay. Sorry, nothing should be off limits to the 3K I dropped for two nights.

The property is very picturesque. The views of the lake and of the woods from the rooms was great. We had a woods view with a very large balcony which was nice. The rooms were well appointed and the bed was comfortable. Walking actions the property we saw the seating areas which at night were lit by the fire pits strong the property. Everything smelled nice and the staff were all helpful and friendly. We will definitely go back again.

During our stay there were 3 events causing a lot of noise late into the night (until almost midnight). The staff was unable to deal with crowds telling us they paid for it - like we didn't pay for our three rooms. No apologies or we are sorry. Nothing! We won't stay here again!

Hotel is beautiful and location is magnificent, albeit very pricey. Great to stay if your wanting to splurge. One big drawback to room was a air purification system in the ceiling that ran constantly and was not quiet. Bring earplugs if you want to sleep!

Loved the yoga and meditation session with Suzanne—she is awesome, and this was a great guest perk. (Although the actual on-premises yoga studio was not exactly a breeze to find.) I ate lunch and dinner at the hotel (room service for dinner), and the food was delicious. Staff members throughout were very friendly. Glitch at front desk: asked for early check-in, but room was not ready, fine, said they’d text me. (Two people ahead of me in line were also checking in early and got their rooms). Checked back at desk a second time after going to lunch. Room not ready, said they would text me. Waiting patiently for another 30-45 minutes not wanting to be a pest, actually waited until 15 minutes AFTER regular check-in time and still no text from them. I approached the desk a third time, and lo and behold, the room was ready but they had never texted me. Got to the room and the hand soap dispenser by the bathroom sink was broken off. Later called maintenance for help with getting the window shades closed. Said they would send someone right up. An hour went by and no maintenance. I called the front desk again; they apologized and then someone did come right up. The property and grounds are lovely.

Our dinner waiter, Derrick, was one of the best we’ve ever had. Professional service, friendly personality, knowledgeable about the menu, helpful when asked for suggestions. Concierge was helpful as was the friendly shuttle service to the concert. We found the reception/check in woman very cold, rude and unwelcoming. Not a good way to start our visit. Fortunately things got better. Check out gentleman was perfect and could train the women from the afternoon before in good customer service.

The Lakehouse was absolutely amazing! The grounds and landscaping was immaculate and the amenities were great. Both restaurants on the grounds were fantastic and the breakfast at the Library was excellent and very convenient! We spent a long weekend enjoying our anniversary and we will definitely visit again. The staff at the front door to the pool deck and housekeepers were over the top accommodating and so nice!

Very beautiful, peaceful and quiet property. Loved the atmosphere, very clean, and relaxed vibe. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sauna, and s’more kits. Dinner was nice at the Rose Tavern. The only complaint was the coffee maker in the room was not very good! I ended up buying a coffee in the lobby at the library. It was quite pricey. But I guess you can expect that at a top notch hotel like this. Would love to come back here again.
