Driveway full of pot holes, not enough parking

In the middle of major renovations. Paint fumes and lights shorted out when I tried to plug in my phone charger. Dogs were barking most of the night as well...Due to 3rd party rental, I had no options to be refunded any $ for my inconveniences.

No vending machines at all

The hotel is very run-down. It has no elevator, so you need to carry your belongings up stairs and the hallways smelled old and smokey. Once in your room, it smells old, musty and like old smoke. The carpet was old and stained. We were given 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel; no bath towels. The bedspread, pillows and sheets need to be upgraded. Overall, this hotel needs to be upgraded and cleaned. We couldn’t wait to check out to get out of there and shower at home.

Says handicap accessible and then they proceeded to put items in the way of the ramp after talking to them about it once before…fridge in the room was not accessible enough for a wheelchair user which we told them ahead of time that we needed an accessible room. gross in the hallways and door areas.

When we arrived, the hotel was under construction. We were informed there would be no breakfast service. It would have been nice to have heard about that when I made the reservation a month ago. We were initially led to a room that stunk of mildew and was about 50 degrees. We refused to stay in that room. They sent us to another room, where neither of the lights by the beds worked (there were no plugs, the cords had been cut), using the TV was difficult and required the front desk person to come upstairs. When we needed more toilet paper, no one answered three calls to front desk. Every time we came into the hotel, one or more of the staff were standing out front smoking. Overall, very disappointed. We have stayed in that motel seven out of the past eight years and have never been dissatisfied. Until now.

The linens looked dirty. There were boxes piled up in the lobby seating area and outside.

Great location, centrally located not to far from all activities. Leftover food in the fridge, hair in the drain, the first night we didn't have pillowcases.

It was okay..served its purpose. The carpet was damp which seemed weird and there was a strangle pool of water u see the alarm clock. Mold in the bathroom no ventilation. Beds were not bad clean.

This property should be shut down. The lobby is dirty and worn out. The first room I was assigned had a towel in the bed and looked like it had not been vacuumed in many days. I requested a different room. The clerk took some time to check out the room he then assigned to me. The bed linens were clean, however the floors were littered with paper straw wrappers, dust everywhere. The shower head was broken and the towel bar was laying on the floor. I only stayed because I was the raveling with another person who's room was acceptable. The clerk also would not refund my money. What a dump!

In all seriousness if the state came in, this place would be shut down. I will be formally reaching out to expedia for a refund, and I NEVER have done that before. There were feces and blood on multiple places in the room and bathroom. Truly gross.

The good: The front desk workers were great. Very friendly and helpful. The bad: This place was disgusting. There was food and who knows what splattered all over the walls. There were multiple spots where someone had smashed bugs on the wall and just left them there. No one bothered to clean it off. The single chair in the room had a huge stain on it. The covers on the beds were stained. The AC and the bathroom vents were caked in dirt. The rooms are also very outdated. I swear the wallpaper in the bathroom looks like it came straight out of the 90s. The chair also looks like it came from the early 90s. The lamps are literally from the 80s and stained. The furniture was beat up, for example, we had to switch rooms bc our first room the bed frame was broken on one of the beds and so the bed was lopsided. I honestly checked both beds thoroughly for bed bugs bc the place just felt disgusting to me. I did find the shedded skin of a bed bug but nothing else. But I still had a hard time sleeping that night. I’ve never felt so anxious that I would get dirty just from being in a hotel room. I tried to stay out and about as much as possible so I wouldn’t have to be there more than necessary. The parking lot had huge potholes in it. This place is truly an outdated rundown disaster. It needs so much work. I’ve never been so happy to leave a hotel before.

This place is beyond awful and so run down. So many things wrong from horrible smell to not having working remote or tv. The air conditioning was terribly inadequate No coffee pot in room or coffee service in lobby. Lobby filled with boxes and clutter. Just beyond appalling. I would never recommend for anyone to stay here and if there was a way to get a refund I would be doing that. Super 8 should be embarrassed that you are connected to this facility. Sleeping in my car would have been better but at least the water was hot. Nothing advertised on website was even remotely accurate. Super 8 should dump this hotel so you could have a decent reputation

Our room was the most disgusting room I’ve ever stayed in. It reeked of smoke and the sheets had menstruation stains on them but we didn’t get to bed until so late that I wasn’t going to request a room change but should have. The floors were dirty.. and there was a piece of old fruit under the table

This hotel was beyond filthy . When we checked in, there were cigarette holes in our smoke free bedspread. The thin blanket underneath had a brown substance smeared on it. We had to get new linen and remake our bed ourselves. The room was absolutely not cleaned- the bottom of our feet became covered in dirt after 15 minutes of walking around. It was covered in dust, the bathroom was appalling. We had 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper and no refills. We were not going to write a review because what do you want at a super 8? However, the manager is the hotel was on in the evening. She was much better than the daytime staff. She said we could check out noon. At 11am, we were called and the person working the front desk was so rude, I said the manager said we can check out at 12- she said yea sorry you need to go, we need your room. I repeated myself again and she’s said the manager couldn’t say we were able to check out an hour later. This hotel is a good distance but it is filthy and the staff aside from the manger are horrible so is housekeeping.

Too many potholes in parking lot definitely need to be fixed. The staff were awesome very friendly and helpful to our needs. Room was nice with the view of the pond outside with the geese in it very beautiful view.

The WiFi didn’t work along with the television. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the bathroom. There wasn’t a plug socket available near the bed and only one in the bathroom to charge up my phone. I was totally surprised to see a huge dog sleeping behind the front desk.

Spider webs in corners of the room, lamp shade broken, bathroom and carpets desperately need upgrading. Couldn’t connect to free wifi.

Out dated

This hotel is aweful. To begin, we couldn't check in when we arrived because "the entire Wyndam system is down". Then 20 minutes later I could, but was rushing so we could get to the event we came here for, close to on time. Anyway, we got back at 1am and the walls are paper thin, so we heard all the people in the halls and close rooms. The bed was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. God aweful!

the staff was amazing. The room was out dated and the beds were terribke VERY HARD mattresses which made very uncomfortable the springs poked you . It felt like you were sleeping on a rock .

Room 115 (King bed) was just around the corner from the front desk. I heard EVERY conversation in the lobby and was awakened every morning at 5:30 when they set up breakfast. There was no carpet in the room (which i liked), but nothing to dampen the sounds. I spent most of my visit in my room so the noise was more bothersome than if I had been away during the day. No seating except desk chair, so no comfortable chair to watch TV- only the bed. No hanging bar for clothes. The light breakfast was prepackaged mini donuts and tasteless juice. Coffee maker was available in my room and I did have a microwave and mini frig which I appreciated. Staff was friendly and helpful, but their dog was occasionally barking loudly pretty much right outside my door.

Hotel canceled my confirmed reservation upon my arrival.

When first walking in to check in there was bedding laundry all pulled up in counter top behind front desk. Going up the stairs to our room the steps were carpeted and absolutely filthy. Walk into our room and it smelled like dirty feet, the carpets were absolutely disgusting, AC didn’t work, dead bugs in the corner of the windowsill, not quit sure if it was blood or poop on the mattress cover. Went down to report our issues and there was a gentleman reporting that this AC was not working and that his room was filthy as well. That he would not be staying there and wanted a full refund. He also stated I don’t now how you expect people to stay here because I’m afraid I’d need a penicillin shot by morning. While standing there the so called manager looked at me and said can I help you. I just said I also had some issues to report and her response was “we’re not having a group conversation”. I would never recommend this place and feel it needs to be over hauled completely. This hotel is absolutely disgusting.

It might have been ok. Had you not canceled my room the day of our trip .even though it was prepaid 5 weeks in advance. We had to find another hotel for $300.00 moreI.m still waiting for my refund of $309.00. Are you going to give it back to me or do i have to go through my bank.

We never got to arrive because a very rude woman called me an hour before we were going to check in to say they cancelled our room. Horrible customer service. I need a refund, but your people didn’t help either. This cancellation ruined our weekend and we will never use Wyndham or hotels.com again.

there was no stay, they cancelled our reservation on us less than 24 hours before we were going. They suck and i will never stay at that hotel again

Upon checking in, we were told our reservation was canceled and there were not any rooms available. I still showed it active on my Expedia App and never received any type of notification. We found out it happened to others staying that night as well. Rates in the area had doubled since booking the room due to a concert in town. After 45 minutes the hotel miraculously “had a cancellation” and got us into a room. Another guest had the exact same scenario earlier in the day. Are they trying to sell the room for higher rates? Seems odd they all of a sudden had other reservations cancel. I don’t recommend staying at this hotel. Half the lights worked in the room and very limited toiletries in th bathroom.

CHECK IN TIME WAS AT 3:00 P.M. OUR ROOM WAS NOT AVAILABLE UNT 4:15 BECAUSE IT HADN'T BEEN CLEANED. THE SERVICE DESK PERSON AND THE CLEANER WERE EXTEREMLY RUDE TO US AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR AN OVERNIGHT STAY.

Upon our arrival they nitified us they cancelled our reservation and since we booked through a 3rd party there was no way of contacting us to notify. The e tire area was sold out for a co cert! We had to book several miles away from out venue at the last minute! BS!

This was a terrible Hotel, and will never stay there again. We booked this as soon as we got our concert tickets about 5-6 months prior. Upon check in we and other ppm checkibg in were told our reservation was canceled due to over booking on their part and they were not sure if they would have enough rooms. I was told they called and emailed me. I immediately pulled up my emails and messages and had zero messages. It smelled awful and the room was disgusting. If i could give negative stars I would. Awful safe your money and stay somewhere else!!

I called the hotel at approximately 11:30 to inquire about an early check in and to see if it was feasible. This was a great location for our concert at CMAC, close to restaurants and a decent price.

Hotel is conveniently located for a concert at CMAC. Staff is friendly. Rooms are spacious. They’ve done some upgrades since my last stay in June. Nice place all around.

Staff was friendly. Rooms/carpet/decor dated. Shower water was nice & hot! Beds comfortable but sat low to the ground. Had a fridge, microwave, & coffee maker. Overall good place to get some sleep. Close to CMAC, shopping, diners, & lake. Offered coffee & muffins/fruit/pastry for breakfast as a bonus. Down side, no elevator to second floor, we had to use stairs while toting luggage.

It's right in the middle of a lot of stores and restaurants. Close to CMAC. Ok for overnights only.

Easy to find, car wash info of the way of getting to hotel. Door set so only 1 works. No breakfast. Ac smelled. Junk was under the bed. Beds were firm. You could hear the dirt track racing all night. Was ok for 1 night.

The stay was fine. Not very clean however. Filthy and old. Mattresses are very uncomfortable and old as well. Continental breakfast wasn’t even that. It was mini muffins and Dixie cup for a cup of concentrated orange juice or apple juice. Nothing else. Terrible. Especially for the price to stay here.

The staff was awesome, breakfast was mainly just coffee and a quick muffin to go. I would stay here again for the simplicity of having your own room and privacy.

Great area easy to see lake, only complaint is breakfsat. I'm sorry danishes and coffee are not what I wanted to pay for. Ended up having to go elsewhere for a real breakfast

The parking lot needs a lot of work. There are several pot holes. It needs to be resurfaced. The rooms that I stayed in, both needed new drywall, as 1 had a hole and one, the paint was coming off in the bathroom. Breakfast needs to be better. Coffee, juice and mini muffins is all that was offered.

Went for coffee at 8 am on a Sat. morning, there were no cups. Guy at desk said he didnt have any more. After I went to our room & got a cup and returned, the coffee was empty. And by the looks of the guy at the desk playing on his phone, there wasnt going to be more made. There was partial carafes of juice, but no cups to pour it in!! And as far as breakfast items, there was nothing at all!!. Our room was quiet, overlooking a small pond. The blood stain on the pillow case was disqusting though.
