We had a wonderful stay at this new hotel. The hotel has only been open for a few months, so the rooms and facilities are very fresh and clean. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location right by the lake, with pool, hot tub, and rental kayaks and SUPs on site. Jackson at the front desk is great! Because the hotel is so new, staff are still working out some issues. There are a few things that could be improved: 1.) Get "do not disturb" signs for rooms. Housekeeping starts around 9 a.m. and kept knocking on our door each morning around that time. 2.) The signs for hot and cold water on the plumbing fixtures in the bathroom are reversed. It took a bit to figure out that we needed to choose "cold" if we actually wanted hot water... 3.) The restaurant is beautifully decorated with the best waterfront location in town. The down-side is that the menu is extremely limited--so limited that we never ate there. The restaurant is missing out on business in that regard, especially given that a lot of restaurants in town are closed on Monday and Tuesday evenings--even during the height of the summer?!?!?! 4.) They're still waiting on large containers of shower gel, shampoo, etc. to install in some rooms and for those who don't have those, you have to go to the front desk repeatedly to get more small tube. Housekeeping doesn't carry them. It would also help to put more than two sets of towels in each room. Overall, a great place!

The decor was lovely. Very clean and lively grounds. Setting gorgeous! Staff very friendly. Pool towels were way too small. Room service took 1 hour plus. Overall I'd come back. Fantastic facilities!

Lovely property in a beautiful setting. The staff was awesome. Took a dip in the hot tub before the show at CMAC and enjoyed a couple of drinks at the bar after the show. I will definitely be back and may stay an extra day or two.

The property is right by the lake. Walking by the lake and swimming in the hotel pool or by the lake is easy access. The hotel is well maintained and has many places to sit, relax and enjoy the view indoor and outdoor. The Canandaigua Lady boat ride is few feet away from the hotel, which is a plus. The hotel restaurant takes a long time to serve the ordered food. Only complain.

A well maintained brand new hotel with large, well thought-out rooms. The bathrooms were enormous. Staff was friendly but the “restaurant” breakfast area was so short staffed that they could not reasonably serve 5 tables. The property was beautiful, overlooking the lake. Parking is plentiful with a whole row of EV chargers!

We had a lovely experience at the Hotel Canandaigua. The hotel is situated just off the waterfront with beautiful views of the lake. Parking was easy and ample and the lobby is spectacular. We got a room on the first floor with a patio opening up to the waterfront and pool, which was lovely for an early morning stroll and coffee. The staff was courteous and the room was beautifully cleaned with all the fixtures (furniture, bedding, bathroom) brand new. Just a few things to mention. The chemicals in the pool were way off and burned our eyes and even skin. Our kids love a pool, but we only tired it once and just for a few minutes. We were really excited about that amenity and the outdoor pool was a deciding factor when selecting this hotel, so that was disappointing. We mentioned this to the staff and they could not do anything about it. Also, we paid extra to have our breakfast included. That addition wasn’t showing up so I had to search my Expedia app and show it to them. Once I was able to produce the written confirmation, the front desk staff were kind and made sure to add it to our booking, but it didn’t actually work out to be fully included breakfast. We were allotted $40 per day ($20 per adult, and nothing for the two kids) to spend at their restaurant. Each breakfast entree was $15+ so we ended up paying for the overage each day. Finally, the electricity went out for several hours one morning but came back on. A few quirks but a beautiful property! So many cute dogs.

This was a beautiful, clean property. Felt like a mini resort experience on waterfront property. The room was modern and clean as pictured. I asked for a balcony on arrival and was fortunate to be able to get one as I was unable to make a selection for this online during booking. The pool was warm and upkept. The only downside with the pool area was the hot tub was under repair and unavailable during our stay. It wasn't fixed until we were leaving. The hotel restaurant, The Cove, has delicious brunch menu choices with decent portion sizes. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. There was a power issue for a partial day of our stay when minimal power was available as generators were running. Uncertain as to what happen. It was a minor inconvenience that we had to roll with. Overall, highly recommended place for a person, couple or family to stay.

The hotel is beautiful and the location is superb. We went for the Heart concert. Everything was great. Beds and bath were clean. Beds super comfortable. Will be back and hope when we are able to use more of the facilities offered.

Arrived at property and room was not ready. We had a 2 hour wait and they they said room is now ready. Got to room and the room was not even clean. Dirty sink, bathroom supplies shower gel soap shampoo were not restocked. Room was dusty and dirt on tables. Glass Ring stains on nightstand. Room was clearly not cleaned. Front desk said you can go stay elsewhere if you don’t like the room. This was a holiday weekend. Unacceptable for any Hilton property.

All of the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating! We had an app and drinks at the bar, food was great and prices were fair. We were there Thursday-Monday and our room was only cleaned once, could have used at least one more maid service. Would be beautiful during the summer!

We stayed for our anniversary and absolutely loved it! The rooms were clean and comfortable the shower was perfect. Also we loved that they came and cleaned our rooms, made the bed and gave fresh towels which should be included in a hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful! We can’t wait to come back!

This was a nice hotel. Very expensive though and it seemed understaffed. The rooms were clean but there were stains on the carpets and the windows were really dirty. Front desk staff were kind but seemed overwhelmed. I would stay here again though, no real complaints.

We had a huge hotel room- 350 square feet, but the space was not effectively set up for a comfortable stay. For example, there was a large couch in the room but it faced the bed and was on the same wall as the TV so no way to sit on the couch to watch the TV. Not everyone likes to sit on a bed to watch TV. There was a small table with two chairs next to the bed even though there was a huge unused area that you walked into from the door measuring about 18' X 12 ' that was empty! There was no microwave in the room although there was a mini fridge. There was no complimentary breakfast instead an expensive restaurant on premises. The grounds were very nice and proximity to a walking trail around the lake was easily accessible.

I tried to get in touch with the front desk as I wasn’t feeling well and needed towels and nope answered. After 5 calls, I had to send my daughter down. In the morning, I just wanted a cup of coffee and it was empty. I told the front desk and they never refilled it.

Paid for a King with a lake view and balcony and was given a double queen that was stuffy with no opening windows. The photos showed a bathtub on Expedia and lake view balcony. My receipt did not specify balcony on it but said King Room for $437. The hotel staff made me feel like they thought I was lying about the room when I went to tell them they gave me the wrong room. There was no soap when I took a shower. The front desk person told me on the phone that CMAC was a 20 minute walk but it was like 40. It was almost entirely sidewalk and not unsafe from cars but not as described. The water bottles in the room have little tags that say only elite members get them free and everyone else pays $3. At check in, I was given no direction to elevators or any information about the hotel. When I came back down to tell them that they gave me the wrong room, they commented about booking through Expedia and repeated that they are full. The phone was ringing in the background and they were obviously stressed. A male employee came over to assist by repeating that they are full but not answering the phone. The pool was a nice temperature but they must’ve shocked it recently because my eyes burned so bad after swimming.

We had a very nice stay here for a mom‘s night out. We were able to enjoy the pool and sit out by the lake. The room was fair. We were on the first floor looking at the parking lot, but we did book the cheapest room. We had lunch and drinks at the Cove restaurant and were extremely disappointed. We only ate our meal as we were absolutely starving and service took so long. We said something to the waitress and all she said was “OK” and walked away. There are certainly many, other unique dining places in the area. with better food and better service than the Cove. The girl at the front desk was wonderful (Chelsea) in getting us checked in. At the time we arrived there should have been another desk attendant as there were many people waiting for assistance.

Check in was at 4. I got there at 4 and was told my room wouldnt be ready for awhile. I needed to shower and get ready for an event. I was told to get ready in the pool bathroom which didnt have a shower. My room was not ready till 550! An hour and 50 mins after check in. I asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasnt anyone. Very disappointed in what could be a really nice place.

We had a lovely experience at the Hotel Canandaigua. The hotel is situated just off the waterfront with beautiful views of the lake. Parking was easy and ample and the lobby is spectacular. We got a room on the first floor with a patio opening up to the waterfront and pool, which was lovely for an early morning stroll and coffee. The staff was courteous and the room was beautifully cleaned with all the fixtures (furniture, bedding, bathroom) brand new. Just a few things to mention. The chemicals in the pool were way off and burned our eyes and even skin. Our kids love a pool, but we only tired it once and just for a few minutes. We were really excited about that amenity and the outdoor pool was a deciding factor when selecting this hotel, so that was disappointing. We mentioned this to the staff and they could not do anything about it. Also, we paid extra to have our breakfast included. That addition wasn’t showing up so I had to search my Expedia app and show it to them. Once I was able to produce the written confirmation, the front desk staff were kind and made sure to add it to our booking, but it didn’t actually work out to be fully included breakfast. We were allotted $40 per day ($20 per adult, and nothing for the two kids) to spend at their restaurant. Each breakfast entree was $15+ so we ended up paying for the overage each day. Finally, the electricity went out for several hours one morning but came back on. A few quirks but a beautiful property! So many cute dogs.

We had a wonderful stay at this new hotel. The hotel has only been open for a few months, so the rooms and facilities are very fresh and clean. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location right by the lake, with pool, hot tub, and rental kayaks and SUPs on site. Jackson at the front desk is great! Because the hotel is so new, staff are still working out some issues. There are a few things that could be improved: 1.) Get "do not disturb" signs for rooms. Housekeeping starts around 9 a.m. and kept knocking on our door each morning around that time. 2.) The signs for hot and cold water on the plumbing fixtures in the bathroom are reversed. It took a bit to figure out that we needed to choose "cold" if we actually wanted hot water... 3.) The restaurant is beautifully decorated with the best waterfront location in town. The down-side is that the menu is extremely limited--so limited that we never ate there. The restaurant is missing out on business in that regard, especially given that a lot of restaurants in town are closed on Monday and Tuesday evenings--even during the height of the summer?!?!?! 4.) They're still waiting on large containers of shower gel, shampoo, etc. to install in some rooms and for those who don't have those, you have to go to the front desk repeatedly to get more small tube. Housekeeping doesn't carry them. It would also help to put more than two sets of towels in each room. Overall, a great place!

The Hotel is very nice and new. I think they are having the same problem with staffing I have seen in many restaurants since covid. Only a few servers and meals can take a while. The bar closes very early even on weekends. The hot tub also closes at 8pm which was very annoying. Property is in a great location for the lake and restaurants to walk to. We did rent a pontoon boat at Seager Marine nearby that was managed very well. The area is beautiful.

We chose this hotel as it is one of the few right on one of the Finger Lakes. Our assigned room was on the swimming pool side of the hotel. The AC and refrigerator leaked onto the carpet. There was also an intermittent pinging noise that seemed to come from the hallway wall. Chelsa was most helpful in getting our room changed the next day. The pinging is apparently due to the pool pump. The restaurant food options are limited. I ordered a Chicken with Gorgonzola gravy and the gorgonzola was not present. Unfortunate that the hotel's food service does not entice more activity from its guests. Lots of great restaurant choices close by. The location is great as it is on the boardwalk for Canadiagua. We walked in the mornings and evenings and met some great people

This is a great hotel on the lake at a reasonable price. Food choices are excellent. They have a live band every Wednesday night which is great. However, when we were there the band was heavy metal which I thought was unusual for a hotel on a lake-did not seem to appeal to many hotel guests, but locals came and enjoyed it. The pool is nice but is on the side of the hotel and it would be much nicer if you had a lake view from the pool.

Power was out when we arrived and that delayed our check in. The room I booked was “partial lake view” but we were given a room on the front parking lot. Since there were no alternate rooms available, we were given a discount. Although the discount was appreciated and appropriate, it was extremely disappointing to not have the room that was booked and expected. Overall the staff tried to address both of those issues, but our stay was not as expected or as enjoyable as those in the past.

The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well and was easy to use. The bathroom was very nice. The water pressure could have been better though. The price for the room, with fees was expensive. The grounds were beautiful - flowers, mulch, trees, etc.
