It was very nice, clean and location was great. Only problem you had to walk in the casino to get to elevator and the cigarette smoke was HORRIBLE!! My clothes wreaked off cigarettes!!

Staff was helpful. Had to change rooms. Its an old building. Our 1st room had no hot water after the 2nd evening there. Had to pack up and head to the 2nd room. Both rooms were very clean and roomy. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The hotel is located in an area that makes it easy to get around in all directions. Overall, its a great place to stay.

It's obvious that housekeeping is a sever problem here. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival. Dirt and hair in the corners of the floor. Bits of trash that were on the floor. Used washcloth was hanging on the shower curtain. Toothpaste smear on the counter. Looks like they swapped towels and toiletries, but did no cleaning. The room was decent enough. Could use a refresh, but nothing was severely worn.

Room was dirty...carpets worn out...mold in bath....air conditioner noisy....I had booked 3 nights on the second niight I left and went to another hotel...casino was clean but once you leave there what a mess...I will never return there....had friends with 3 other rooms as well all really bad.....very dissappointed and disguted with the germs and dirt in the room everywhere...

The beds were comfortable, and there were no noise issues during our stay. I also appreciated the no-pet and no-smoking policy — definitely a plus. However, the bathroom and flooring could use an upgrade. The water pressure was very poor, the toilet didn’t drain properly, and the space was quite small and cramped. Additionally, the bathroom faucet was difficult to use — it required turning it back and forth several times just to get the cold water running.

The room was dirty, I looked under both beds and there were cups and wrappers which is UNACCEPTABLE. The bathroom door was broken. The toilet was dirty upon our arrival. When I notified the staff that the toilet was clogged they wanted to give me a plunger, this is ridiculous.

Location is great. This was my 2nd stay. Room was old and bathroom was not as clean as it should have been. They closed the diner that was there and it is taking a long time for the restaurant to open.It was disappointing to not be able.to have breakfast before we left. I know they are remodeling the property and I will stay there again.

The staff was very nice and I understand the property is up for renovation. But renovation won’t fix the thinnest walls I’ve ever encountered. Thinner than a Motel 6. Could hear our neighbor’s every word as though they were in the same room as us and they weren’t super loud. Unfortunately, this made for a terrible nights rest since they kept the TV on all night. Not sure how a renovation will fix that.

Hotel is simple but perfect for what I needed (overnight bed for a 2 day ski trip). Room was very clean and amazingly quiet despite being above the casino. Nice view of mountains right out the window. Power substation not the most attractive on the ground so might have been depressing if not on 5th floor. Minor hiccup with reservation, but resolved without too much trouble — receptionist was very patient and helpful. Overall a good value for money.

The room was clean but definitely needs some refurbishing. Wear & tear is showing. Also had a handicap room but would not to be able to be used by someone wheelchair bound. (Which I am not). Had a tub shower with grab bars on inside wall but none where you would need on the outside as you step over the tub. Reception desk said upgrades to entire hotel were going to be started very shortly. Location was great for me as I was there to check out a nearby rental that I own.

I will definitely stay at The Federal Hotel again. The service was wonderful. Regardless of what I needed I was serviced in a very friendly way. Everything was clean. The restaurant is open from 7am-2pm it was perfect breakfast before we left to the airport and the food was good.

I didn’t get the room I booked. I was given another room which was not even ready for check in. Had to wait an hour to check in. Next day the keys were not working, had to go to the front desk to recalibrate the keys. No compensation for all the blunder they did. Overall, terrible experience and I am not going to this place again.

We stayed on the fourth floor; room was clean and orderly. The bath was adequate. Furniture very adequate and comfertable. We quit using the hotel restaurant, Black Bear, after the first day. Food is marginal and food we didn't order came to us, we paid, but didn't go back. Overall, I would stay again.
