An OK hotel, built on 2 floors, with no elevator, so luggage had to be carried up the stairs. There is an attached Chinese Restaurant. The hotel does offer shuttle service to the airport, as well as downtown Anchorage.

Our party stayed in two rooms. Both rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We ran the AC all night in my room with no problems. However the AC rattled and made loud noises in our other room. The couple chose not to use the AC and opened the window - the road outside was busy and noisy.

This is a low quality motel room. A bed a sink a toilet and shower. Dog has chewed the table, bugs all over the lampshade (and god knows where else). Motel looks like a storage unit.

Merrill field did offer continental breakfast till 9am and 24 hours tea and coffee was also available. However the room was extremely dated and quite dirty. The toilet seat was stained and needed replacing.

We booked 2 one night stays. On the way into and out of Anchorage. Planed to use the shuttle but considering the condition of the motel I couldn’t trust it for 6am flight. Room was filthy. Rust on shower rod. Bathroom floor was gross. No heat. Complained and was promised they would send someone. No one came. Mornings were cold. If a lower than 1 rating I would give it.

We were picked up from the airport, that's a . But the fabric we sat on in the shuttle had spots on it and smelled like pee. Checking in to the hotel was quick and easy. But in the room, the sheets on the bed were not changed from the previous guests, they were wrinkled and lots of hair on it. The housekeeper must have just covered them. We slept on top of the blankets. The toilet was running on and off all night long. I barely got any sleep. In the morning, there seemed to have been a nice breakfast buffet in a small area, but we skipped it, nor planned for it. It looked good though. Then got a shuttle from the hotel early morning to go about our business. We arrived at the hotel at 11PM, left at 7AM, it was not worth bringing the issues to the receptionist or to the hotel manager. Hope he/she will see my comments and take notes. I do not recommend, not do I not, not recommend this hotel. Maybe other rooms were better kept. But this was my experience.

I needed a quick overnight before a cruise. The bed was comfortable enough. The breakfast included was good. The towels were decent. The TV worked well. The room needs updating as the desk lamp was broken, the heat didn't work, the bathroom door didn't close completely, the hair dryer didn't turn on, the wifi didn't reach the room, the furniture was old, there's no elevator.

Our room with two beds was spacious and clean. The overhead and vanity lights kept going off or wouldn't turn on at all, and our door lock had to be replaced. Great shower though, and breakfast in the lobby was plentiful and good. Overall a good value for this location.

Our front door had a lot of light shining in the door frame, and we could hear all of the foot traffic and conversations outside our door. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable enough, it was what I expected for a cheaper hotel.

Very old motel in a very questionable part of town. Rooms showed their age, however were clean and comfortable overall. Kinda weird that the first thing you see and encounter as soon as you open the front door is the bathroom sink with very limited counterspace. The shuttle driver was friendly and accomodating. The Chinese restaurant right out front served very tasty food.

I slept like the dead my first night here. There is an excellent and underrated Chinese restaurant next door. The shuttle driver is entertaining and accommodating. Unlike my friends who stayed at newer hotels, we had a hot breakfast with several food options. The room was very clean. However, this is not a new hotel or located near tourist hotspots. There was a half-inch gap under the room's door and the hot & cold were reversed in the sink. The A/C was a bit loud, but that was probably a good thing. I would stay here again.

Their airport pickup cannot be beat. Our flight was extremely late and they came to get us from Anchorage at 2:00 am and we’re very helpful at that hour. Couldn’t ask for better service.

Not so good. Attempted tj change a room reservation is like drinking a bitter sweet soda. Impossible without a hotel itinerary number provided by email (never sent) and ended up being hung up on three times when trying to talk to a live person. Front desk told me they were to busy to talk to me and “to call back later” (after hanging up on me)

Considering the high cost of hotels in the area, I'd expected something a bit more. It was also not walkable to anything. However, the staff was very nice and helpful. There was a shuttle that could take you to town and the rooms were clean and tidy.

I’m not sure what the inside was like, but the general area was so disappointing, we didn’t even check in to this hotel (actually a motel). We found a real hotel that was cleaner and safer. Unfortunately, it was too late to cancel from this place and get a refund, so they got my $400.

The staff and inside conditions were good. However, being outside the executive airport, busy highway, and never ending Alaskan days (4:30 am to 11 pm) make sleeping difficult. Off property you’re in the hood … guys on the corner selling dry goods and drinking from brown paper bags. 😬

This is very much a motel over an inn. The rooms we stayed in were large and comfortable. Something we didn't expect was an included breakfast. Hot foods included eggs, hash brown potatoes, and quartered sausage patties. They also had cereal, muffins, hard boiled eggs, and bread for toast with butter and jellies along with a coffee and spot that was available 24/7. It wasn't the greatest, yet it was functional. The location is right next to the Merrill Field Airport making it easy to get to a chartered flight the next day. Otherwise, not much is around that would interest someone on a vacation. While the staff were friendly, our room was never serviced by housekeeping. We even requested on one occasion with no luck and ended up having to pick up new towels and bath supplies at the end of the day.

I chose this hotel because it was inexpensive. It is about 5 minutes from downtown. They offer a free shuttle to airport and downtown which was very nice. Only one van runs most of the time so if you are short on time this is an issue. They had muffins and coffee at 5:30 so we could grab something quick before we took off for the railroad station. Restaurant next door had a wonderful prime rib dinner. I would stay here again for a quick stop in Anchorage.

Perfect stay for an overnight stop in Anchorage which included airport collection and delivery to the rail depot for our 6.45 train to Seward. Room was clean and comfy and all the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. They even had a Chinese restaurant on site which we did not know about.would stay agsin if in Anchorage

Phenomenal full breakfast in the morning. Room was clean, but “worn”. Some stains on the carpet. Shower was ok, low water pressure. Off the beaten track, so not good for people who don’t have a car. Bed was comfortable and linens were nice.

Older worn motel. But staff is friendly and helpful as good or better than anywhere. The breakfast was a huge surprise. Full selection of pastries but also amazingly seasoned delicious hash browns, sausage and scrambled eggs.
