It's clear the people working here work hard to make the guest experience as pleasant as possible. Public areas were well-maintained, and the courtyard had a pleasant atmosphere. The gym equipment needs some maintenance and updating, but it certainly isn't the worst gym I've used. The HVAC system for parts of the building struggle against the humidity; my room was fine, but a coworker's room on the opposite side of the building was musty. Similarly, my hot water was fine, but theirs was non-existent.

Carpet needs to be cleaned in our room. Front desk gave us the impression we could check in before4:00 but our room wasn’t ready until 4:00. No microwave, kinda of cheesy after paying over 300.00 for lodging. Lobby area was nice, pool area nice. Housekeeping was very helpful.

The location of the elevator was in the back of the hotel. So, you check in up front then carry luggage down long hall to elevator and possibly carry luggage down another long hall to room. Mattress was hard

There is renovation going on, but overall it was a clean and comforable stay. We felt safe on the property and the town is a great place to visit. This is the first time we have been to Homewood and would recommend it.

Pros - nice location. Easy access. Lobby and room clean. Cons - only one elevator way down hall and the rooms wrap around in a square so you end up walking quite a distance in and out. Some staff very friendly but not all. Surprised pool umbrella table turned over during quick storm and still that way 18 hrs later. Cafe in lobby expensive (soda $5.55!). Because Starbucks no welcome guest coffee or water. My opinion not worth price.

We love staying at this hotel when we are in town. The housekeeping never attempted to clean and restock our room — had to ask twice and all we received were fresh towels. Toilet paper was not restocked and had to go to the front desk multiple times to replenish the coffee for the coffee maker. This is not the first time this has happened to us at this same hotel. The mattresses on the beds are a bit hard. Regardless, we had a lovely stay.

Walking into the property smelled really fresh. Upon arrival into the room there was trash in the waste paper basket and red lipstick on the upper portion of the shower curtain. The faucet to the tub/shower wasn’t securely attached. The sliding door leading out to the patio was inoperative because it wouldn’t lock. The body wash dispenser was empty by day two (how often is it refilled when rooms are cleaned). The alarm clock is 2 hours behind which made me late for the event I came in town for. I stayed in room 126 from Thursday September 5 thru Sunday September 8 2024. I’ve stayed at several Marriott properties and this does not met their standards. The staff was very professional and friendly. And the beds were very comfortable.

Front desk was wonderful. Jonah couldn't have been nicer and more professional. Everyone I encountered was lovely. The hotel is old, smelly, and the beds and pillows are incredibly uncomfortable. I'm on my way to a chiropractor after sleeping there for 2 nights.

I am not sure why online check in is offered if I still have to go to the desk and wait to check in. They use some heavily scented air freshener throughout the property. The ice I got out of the ice machine even tasted like it. The housekeeping service woke me up early cleaning the room next door. Overall will not stay again for those reasons but it was clean and fine if you can stand the air freshener.

The staff ŵas courteous & friendly. The hotel was clean & welcoming. The site provided fresh, sweet, iced water in the lobby all throughout the day. On the Expedia site, it stated that this hotel had breakfast but should have listed that it was for purchase. I was disappointed to find out that breakfast was for purchase & not provided to guests. Tv did not work in my room during my stay & the light in the entry area of the room, did not work. I had called guest services 3x & no assistance was sent to my room. They offered me to change rooms but it was too late & I was already settled in the room.

This location works well for the work related trade show I was attending. Quiet, well maintained. Rooms with king size bed are small for two people. The walk-in shower and large closet are nice!

All non-alcoholic drinks were $5.50. for a bottle of soda... Food was missing an order and was outrageously priced as well as was the price of the rooms. I went down to purchase another room for my party. The room was going to be 199.00$. charged my card 260.00$! Just a price gouging company sheesh. If you like hidden fees, this is the hotel for you!
