Perfect escape from the Phoenix heat. Great location, nice room, love the disco ball, the comfy beds and nice linens. Friendly staff, easy check-in, and the pup loved the "bark-yard." We'll definitely be coming back for another stay.

This was a quaint Motel with a very nice homage to Route 66 and Flagstaff. Very clean and easy to check in. They have a little taco stand onsite and a great yard by the pool with chairs and hammocks. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys great attention to detail and cleanliness.

This place is so nostalgic but modern. It is completely remodeled and kitschy. The in-room disco ball was a hoot! We loved sipping beers by the fire and playing cornhole with the kids. This place is a VIBE. Don’t skip it.

I showed up at 5:15 to Che l in I was told my room wasn’t ready yet and they would text me when it was ready. I came back at 7:30 surprised that I hadn’t been texted that my room was ready. I was told that my room was ready but they don’t text people to let them know 😳

We loved this place, they really did a great job with the updated retro vibe. Our stay was great, and we have already recommended this hotel to several people. We were traveling with our dog and loved the fully fenced in off leash area as well as making use of several of the outdoor tables. The only complaint I would give was the hours of the little restaurant on site don’t seem accurate, we only saw lights on indicating that it open once during our entire 5 night stay.

We stayed at the Americana for a week and it was absolutely magical. So many amazing things to do in the area but we looked forward to getting back to the Americana each evening. The pool was great, fire pits for roasting marshmallows, all kinds of games available. One night there was an astronomer that gave a great talk about stars and had some incredible telescopes we could look through. The rooms were really cool, incredibly nostalgic of road trips as a kid in the 80s. Wish there were more of these “motor inns” around. Fantastic place and a very memorable vacation!

Amazing place, great theme in the rooms, staff was super friendly, I would totally stay there again! Only slight downside is only 1 electric car can charge at a time and it’s first come first serve, but a lot of places don’t even offer charging so still not terrible.

I try not to leave negative reviews, but this was the worst stay experience I have ever had. I hope the property consider these as constructive feedback. They were out of soap and body gel, didn’t provide enough towel, didn’t tidy up the room daily even after I specifically requested. We had to use our own toilet paper one day because there were no extras in the room. I must add they did not charge the amenities fee, which was appreciated.

Fun little place. Just a couple of things: Sign to motel entrance was not lit which made it very difficult to see entrance. Some parking available at entrance lot for truck and trailer. Were not able to park near room. Good little walk with luggage. Lighting in "hallways" was very dim. No ramps available at the transitions. Had to pick up suitcases 2 and 3 steps to continue in hallway walkway. We got in at 7:30 pm on a Monday. Front desk staff were available and helpful. Restaurant was already closed. When we left the next morning at 645, found out that lobby did not open until 8 am. Room: bedding was clean and fresh. Bed was very comfortable. Design of room was cute and different. AC worked amazingly. Odd smell in room. Cleaning should be increased, as carpet was clearly due for shampooing and baseboards were heavy with dust. Coffee in room was super basic with the single packs of sugar, cream and sweetener. Only 1 decaf and 1 regular pod were provided. There were 2 of us. Hubs doesn't know but he got unleaded this morning. :) Coffee was gross but available, which I still appreciated. We weren't able to enjoy the amenities of the pool, games and restaurant

The grounds are clean and welcoming. There are firepits, picnic areas, cornhole boards and a very nice pool. The room was comfortable with unique decor. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I'd definitely stay there again. The location is near restaurants, shopping and other places of interest.

We would definitely come back to stay at this hotel again if we were in the area. Whoever the designer is needs to get a bonus because the remodel was exceptionally well done. Every part of this room felt high end. The room itself is extremely small however it is very well equipped. The only negative I have is the walls are fairly thin. We could literally hear people stomping above us and snoring next-door. Otherwise pretty awesome.

I really enjoyed this hotel, the room decor was wonderful. The check-in staff was so helpful and I really loved everything about them. I love the fact that you could play games and use telescopes, and there are plenty of dining options around the hotel. The only con that I feel the need to mention is that I do think that the air conditioning units need to be serviced. Our air conditioner was so incredibly loud at all times that it was nearly impossible to sleep.

Our stay at the Americana Motor Hotel was excellent. We stayed one night with a family of 4. We had 2 queen beds on the 2nd floor. We loved the retro chic decor, taking you back to Flag of the 70s-80s. The room was small but efficient, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The checkin staff was so friendly and they did a great job of explaining all the amenities. They treated us to a choice of free cocktail or fancy bottled water after check in. We received an Expedia VIP $10 food credit at their taco shop on the premises, Baja Del Mar, and had some delicious tacos. The hotel has a clean heated pool, green belts with firepits and yard games, overall very family friendly. Our kids loved it and we were in walking distance to some great route 66 restaurants and not far from NAU. We will definitely be staying there again next time we are in Flagstaff. We highly recommend this hotel.

Super cute old school drive up motel with a second floor. Newly decorated to look like the late 60s and it’s very charming. The beds and the pillows are very comfortable. Shower was great. I’m not sure how thick the walls, floors, or ceilings are, but the folks above me were incredibly loud banging around and kept us up longer than we wanted. Get the top floor if possible!

We stayed here for 2 nights during our 10 day vacation and loved it! I want to go back! It is such a fun and cute property! The only problem is the walls and ceilings are EXTREMELY thin, so expect noise from neighbors and LOUD footsteps on your ceiling if you are on the bottom floor. I loved the dog park!

The bathroom was really small. I’m not a big guy and I could barely fit in it. The refrigerator was so small I could hardly fit two bottles of water. Other than that a good room for the price.

The property is super cute and very modern. Our only complaint was that our room was not ready at check in time and after a long day you expect your room to be ready at 4pm. We did wait another 40 minutes walking around the property and received some free beverages for the inconvenience. But nonetheless we would always prefer to have our room ready at the designated check in time.

The room decor, including mid-century wall paneling, spinning disco ball, and even a "Playmate" cooler standing ready to pack a picnic took me right back to the 70s of my youth. The absolute quaintness and cute factor of the retro styling in every aspect! Vibrant colors from yesteryear made us feel really warm and cozy from the rooms to the front lobby to the hotel exterior in its entirety. And, the affordability. This will now always be our “first choice” if staying in Flagstaff. Lastly, Eric, the evening front desk clerk rocks with his friendliness and customer service. Americana ownership this this one right! 5 Stars!

There was an issue with my check in not being ready, but the staff comped me some extras for my wait. They worked hard to find a solution to any issues. The one thing I would recommend however is either a keybox or a clear expectation of leaving the key in the room at check out as I needed to check out early and no one was available.

Came here from the Valley for a two day stay for my boyfriend’s birthday. We loved staying at The Americana! Great design, fun outdoor amenities, the room looked brand new, vibrant, and the perfect size for two. We were greeted with beverages on the house and we rented a telescope our first evening. Service was wonderful - the water was turned off unexpectedly for a couple hours and the front took care of our amenities fee for the day and also were able to grab discount Lowell Observatory tickets at the front. We ended up getting there too late and were turned away so the front refunded our tickets with no question. One of my special requests I had made thru the app wasn’t honored, but in the grand scheme of everything it wasn’t a big deal. The staff was amazing and I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Flag!

Fun vintage/space exploration themed motel that suits the attractions in the area, so clever. Nostalgic yet modern without being kitschy, plus it’s on old Route 66. Check in was easy and included a beer which felt very friendly and welcoming. The guy at the front desk was an actual friendly human versus the fake nice at other places. I wish we’d gotten there before dark so we could play cornhole and enjoy the music and vibe of the property. This would be the perfect place to stay for a few days if you’re checking out the area, go adventure for the day and come back to chill with beer, tacos, a pool and lawn games.

Each staff person was very friendly and helpful! The Americana, we learned, was vintage 1960s but completely renovated in 2023, and right on historic Route 66. It was the perfect location for exploring all of the national parks and sites in the area!

Fun little place. Just a couple of things: Sign to motel entrance was not lit which made it very difficult to see entrance. Some parking available at entrance lot for truck and trailer. Were not able to park near room. Good little walk with luggage. Lighting in "hallways" was very dim. No ramps available at the transitions. Had to pick up suitcases 2 and 3 steps to continue in hallway walkway. We got in at 7:30 pm on a Monday. Front desk staff were available and helpful. Restaurant was already closed. When we left the next morning at 645, found out that lobby did not open until 8 am. Room: bedding was clean and fresh. Bed was very comfortable. Design of room was cute and different. AC worked amazingly. Odd smell in room. Cleaning should be increased, as carpet was clearly due for shampooing and baseboards were heavy with dust. Coffee in room was super basic with the single packs of sugar, cream and sweetener. Only 1 decaf and 1 regular pod were provided. There were 2 of us. Hubs doesn't know but he got unleaded this morning. :) Coffee was gross but available, which I still appreciated. We weren't able to enjoy the amenities of the pool, games and restaurant

The grounds are clean and welcoming. There are firepits, picnic areas, cornhole boards and a very nice pool. The room was comfortable with unique decor. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I'd definitely stay there again. The location is near restaurants, shopping and other places of interest.

Dont let the old school crazy colors fool you. The rooms have been renovated and they are nice. The location is on route 66 and close to everything. I highly recommend the hotel.

I love that it's right on Route 66 making it easy to get to and from anywhere else in town. The pool is great. The bean bag toss area was a nice surprise. The concrete on the stairway was a bit old and cracking. I was disappointed that there wasn't much for clothes storage. Just a very small 3 drawer cabinet. Other than that, it was great.

This is a place more geared to be instagrammed than comfortable. Walls were thin, and the room above me was very loud all night. Couldn’t reach anyone at the desk. Be aware: the restaurant on property is NOT open everyday, like their website stated: it was one of the reasons I booked there, but it ended up being closed the day I arrived.

Loved this hotel! Cool room and really enjoyed the pool and outdoor games. The on-site restaurant had great Mexican food, unfortunately the lady who served us was very rude, she accidentally charged us extra then was very disgruntled to have to find out from her manager how to give us a refund, then gave us the wrong order anyway lol, but actual hotel staff were super lovely. Thoroughly recommend this hotel on route 66, great value for money!

We loved this place, they really did a great job with the updated retro vibe. Our stay was great, and we have already recommended this hotel to several people. We were traveling with our dog and loved the fully fenced in off leash area as well as making use of several of the outdoor tables. The only complaint I would give was the hours of the little restaurant on site don’t seem accurate, we only saw lights on indicating that it open once during our entire 5 night stay.

A great property with a fun decor. Great pool and amenities. Good bed. Very clean. Friendly staff. Good free coffee. Attractive and fun Slept well. A few minutes away by car to lots of restaurants and downtown. Very safe and great free parking. I was surprised to be charged a resort fee of $16.68 a few hours after I had left. Checked out in person and nothing was said. Had to call to find out what the additional charge was for. Stayed one night - guessing they will charge you per night!! Was still worth it. I just do not like the way it was done!!!

Our stay at the Americana Motor Hotel was excellent. We stayed one night with a family of 4. We had 2 queen beds on the 2nd floor. We loved the retro chic decor, taking you back to Flag of the 70s-80s. The room was small but efficient, very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The checkin staff was so friendly and they did a great job of explaining all the amenities. They treated us to a choice of free cocktail or fancy bottled water after check in. We received an Expedia VIP $10 food credit at their taco shop on the premises, Baja Del Mar, and had some delicious tacos. The hotel has a clean heated pool, green belts with firepits and yard games, overall very family friendly. Our kids loved it and we were in walking distance to some great route 66 restaurants and not far from NAU. We will definitely be staying there again next time we are in Flagstaff. We highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Americana lodge. The pool and grounds were great and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and fun. The only negative to our experience is that all information (front desk, materials in room, sign on door) said that their onsite 'restaurant' was open for certain hours, but in actuality they closed ~3 hours early which led to us scrambling for dinner plans. It would have been no big deal if it didn't contradict the info they gave us multiple times.
