Nice, large hotel in Tusayan, near the Grand Canyon. Not easy to see from the street, but GPS worked well in finding it next to the IMAX theater. Room was old, but everything worked well and the place was generally clean. People were really friendly and explained everything. Not a lot of parking for such a big hotel, but they probably get tour buses mostly.

Halls are very dark. Not inviting. Beds were on the more firm/ hard side. Carpeting in the rooms and halls very old and worn. Not enough outlets or USB access The pool and hot tub was right outside our balcony and both were filthy with black water. Wouldnt have been able to use them if it had been warmer. Parking area had trash all over.

Laundry room was nice. It was nice they had a change machine. Inside spa was great! The Wagon Wheel had delicious food and a delush Prickly Pear Marg!. Front desk staff helpful, courteous and most kind! Just a tad on the run down side. However, beds and linen were comfy! The bathroom tub/shower needs a little bleach attention. Great proximity to the Canyon. We were able to return for sunset and to see the full moon.

Spacious, clean rooms and courteous staff! I was a little skeptical about safety as this property doesn't have interior corridors. But we didn't have any issues. Ample parking spaces and maintained clean. Would stay again!

I checked into this hotel around 4 pm and left just an hour later. The condition of the room was unacceptable and I did not feel safe with so many people walking around outside. Bathroom was moldy, there was trash and food under both beds, and stains on the bedding. The beds were also very lumpy and uncomfortable. There was no latch/lock/deadbolt that only locks from the inside either. I tried to call the front desk and tell them I was leaving, but got no answer. Hotels.com also tried to call and got no answer. Completely wasted my time and money here

The staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, the property shows its age. In its day it was probably amazing. It does have some cool features with the spa and interior courtyard. However, the attempts to update the bathroom were poorly executed. Trying to hide the mold by painting over it is unacceptable. The tile job was some kind of a joke. The light fixtures and door hinges were rusted. There is obviously a moisture problem. The carpet was stained and disgusting. Really hope they fix this. Otherwise it had a great location with lots of dining options close by and just a short drive to Grand Canyon.

I liked the location close to the park entrance and very nice hotel. The only thing I did not like was the outside entrance to the room, going in the building to get the stairs or elevator and then going back outside to get to the room.

Air conditioner wasn’t working. Pool was dirty. Bathtub/Shower was old with chips in the porcelain and appeared dirty. There was nothing to the pillows. They should’ve been replaced a long time ago.

The Plaza is absolutely beautifully decorated. Our room was good but the lighting was very dim, easy access to room and great location. The water pressure was none. Took me forever to get shampoo and soap off. I loved the look of this place but updates are needed to go with the decor.

While the property was great. We stopped by the bar and had a beer sitting at the bar. Behind us was a table of Germans. Our bartender obviously had a problem with them because he kept using derogatory terms for them, including N*zi and Kr*ut. I am married to a German whom was sitting with me. She's the one that kept me from confronting the bartender. I asked for a manager at checkout to voice my concern and was told one was not currently available so I am voicing my concerns in this forum.

The heater didn't work, and the bathtub was dirty. I went to the front desk to let the staff know my problems. They gave me the option to have someone come and fix the problems or we could move to another room, we chose to move. the staff was very nice and eager to make us satisfied.

This is a great hotel for a visit to the canyon. It is a bit dated but it was very comfortable with friendly staff. The location and close proximity to the canyon make it a great choice. I recommend and would stay again.

The room was spacious and comfortable. There is ample parking and lots of food options around the hotel as well as restaurant options in the hotel. It’s was a nice place to stay and close to the entrance of the Grand Canyon. Just note being that it’s not IN the Grand Canyon, wait times to get into the park can be long if you’re driving in on your own.

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. Great location, a few minute drive from the Canyon, and super close to amenities. We walked to restaurants and shopping. Loved the room. Clean, cozy, and comfortable.

I ordered a draft beer after a long day. I was in the outdoor atrium. It was the worst beer I ever had. It was tepid, flat and obviously they need to clean the draft beer lines. It had that stale taste. Inexcusable for the price.

Front desk was pleasant during check in. The restaurant though, oh my goodness. The most over priced and poorest quality I’ve had in a hotel in a LONG time. Wait staff was very inattentive, food was cold and literally looked like a microwaved Walmart frozen meal. $120 for two people for food like that is unacceptable. I almost want to file a charge back on my credit card.

Our room was cleaning comfortable. The hotel was nice and was in a great location for easy access to the Grand Canyon National Park. We had drinks in a little food in the pub one evening. There was a good selection and it was delicious.

Our stay started off great. Fernanda checked us in with a level of professionalism that I haven’t seen in years, explaining all the hotel amenities and location of things we might need. They upgraded our room to a suite! The room and hotel are very dated, clean but worn and old. No fan in the bathroom and only one very small soap for two sinks and the shower to share. Exhausted from our day of travel, we opted to eat in the hotel restaurant. The menu was basic and the food was average at best. My sandwich arrived with cold stale fries. Our waiter took our order, brought the food and then ignored us. We could see him watching TV at the bar. Another man took away our dirty plates. We continued to wait. Now our waiter was off to the side, on his phone. He finally decides to come by and sees our empty table, drained water glasses at the edge of the table and our irritated faces. Too late to pretend you care dude. After that, we ate off property. I recommend The Foodie Club. It is walking distance to the hotel.

Service and food in bar was below average. Strip steak was tough. Fried chicken was overcooked. I explained to server that I am allergic to cheese. He brought me zuchini with cheese. Never came back to see if everything was okay. This was our second stay at this property with two rooms. It's a very mediocre property with high prices.

Check in was quick and easy. The room is amazing. Ate dinner in the saloon and breakfast in the restaurant both were excellent. The whole hotel is clean and so unique. Absolutely would stay again.
