This is a fantastic lodge for a Grand Canyon visit. The staff was super friendly, and the check-in was easy. The check-in staff can get you the passes you need to enter the Park. The rooms are immaculate with comfy beds and big TV. There is a laundry room if you need to wash clothes, which we did ($2 for washing; $2 for drying). The pool is small, but big enough to refresh you after a day of hiking the Canyon. Free coffee and tea are available every morning. Free parking, also. Restaurants, gift shops, and the IMAX theater are all walking distance from the lodge. The entrance to the park is only a few minutes drive away and the South Rim parking areas are just another 10 or so minutes beyond that. The Red Feather Lodge is HIGHLY recommended. I will definitely stay here if we go to the Grand Canyon again.

What a wonderful stay! The front desk was very friendly and we were able to check in early after driving straight through from Texas. The entire hotel was clean and very well taken care of. The rooms were comfortable and clean as well. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. The pool was well maintained and towels available for use. We will stay here again when we come back to visit the Grand Canyon.

This was a very nice hotel. Coffee in the morning was always good and always ready. We were able to buy our 7 day Grand Canyon park pass at the hotel and have it added to the bill. Staff was nice, gave recommendations, and was always available. Double queen room was spacious and had a 60 in TV to wind down at the end of the day. The park is literally 10 minutes on the same road so it was really convenient. I would stay here again.

Staff was welcoming, excellent, customer centric and fast to adapt to customer needs. Property is located in Grand Canyon village adjacent to park entrance. Amenities well maintained. Will be my future choice whenever i am back in Grand Canyon again. All the best!

Check-in staff were very helpful, the room, whilst a bit dated, was very clean and comfortable. The pool is a bit small but we were lucky to have it to ourselves when we used it. The hotel is ideally located as it is minutes form the gate to The Grand Canyon National Park.

Overall excellent property! Convenient location only 11 minutes from Grand Canyon Visitor center. From this location you can get to South Rim area in 11 min. Desert tower area in 45 min. All in all very accessible spot to get to areas of interest. Right where the hotel is... plenty of options for dining, groceries etc. Hotel was super clean, great pool, gym. Very courteous staff!! Felt very safe and comfortable for our family. Plenty of parking!!

Weren’t looking for anything fancy. The motel was perfect for us and VERY CLEAN!!! When you feel comfortable walking in the room barefoot, that says something. The staff member who checked us in was also VERY nice and kind and helpful. Would 100% stay here again.

The room was clean and smelled clean as we entered. The bed was very comfortable. They do not have breakfast but offer complimentary coffee, tea, and hot cocoa station 24 hours. Close to the Grand Canyon. Some neat shopping opportunities across the street that are less expensive than inside the park. The chocolate factory was great but a little pricey. The hotel staff were friendly! Definitely stay there again .

Overall, the room was good and of course the location is great for seeing the Grand Canyon. There was a pretty bad smell in the room, which is why I only gave the stay three stars. I think the carpets need to be shampooed or something. We opened the window and turned on the fan and air conditioning to try to get the smell out, but it still lingered.

Room comfortable, very comfortable beds with good block out curtains so it was dark. My son used the ice machine a lot! SEcond night there was a family with 1 or 2 young children who cried a lot and were very noisy. They did not wake us up overnight but we could hear all the noise from about 8-10pm through the walls. Also put water bottles in our fridge which didn't get cold so don't know if fridge was not turned on and we had to do that or if it was not working.

Check in was fast but the person in the counter seems unfriendly and unwelcoming. Never smiled nor asked if we had questions. Not the right person in the front desk. Also they should’ve given those downstairs rooms to people with small children to avoid bothering other people who are downstairs. They were running upstairs late and early morning, too noisy.

Stay wasn’t what I expected. Props: 15 minutes way from the entrance to the Grand Canyon Cons: Water sounds/ drip sounds when other guests use water from their room. It’s quite annoying A/C unit is loud, fan is loud as well. No way to keep a temp. Using the heater at 72 degrees makes the room like an oven.. Price is a bit high for a 2 star hotel. I would just book somewhere further if I knew. Parking isn’t really an issue if you leave by 7-8 AM at the Grand Canyon.

Stayed in the main building for one night. Bed was so comfy, large TV and really nice bathroom. Our room was next to the ice machine, which was a source of noise starting VERY early in the morning. Close to the Park and the canyon. Plenty of eating options.

First, the positives-- This is about the lowest priced accommodation we found in the Grand Canyon South Rim area. The check in desk was wonderful. The young woman on duty found us a room two hours before established check in time. Very helpful. Our room was extra large, lovely, clean and comfortable. Then the negatives-- We had come to this area planning to get some work done in our room, in addition to taking several half-day excursions into the park. But work was just about impossible. The WiFi here is very unreliable. To their credit, the management does provide a little paper notice to that effect upon check in, but I wish I had known that before we planned to work here. Even when the WiFi worked, our desk lamp didn't and there were no electrical outlets for chargers at the desk. So working at the desk was impossible. In addition, there were hardly any electrical outlets anywhere in the room aside from those which were already dedicated to the fridge, the coffee maker, etc. I WAS able to plug in my laptop at the bathroom sink and work while standing at the bathroom counter. If I return, I won't try to work here.

The hotel was good for family trip and the room was fine with two queen beds, the only misleading issue in the hotel you see in the picture is that the lobey looks great and indeed looks good but there are two parts for that hotel, rooms which are inside the main building which are not accessible from the street/parking while there is another building in the back were we stayed which has no elevator only stairs and all rooms are fronting the parking not inside the building as the main, therefore I would expect that the hotel will at least mention the fact that there are two types of rooms ones facing outside, others are inside the building

The Red Feather Lodge was great. The rooms were clean and smelled nice. The only down side was that the rooms are pretty small. With 4 adults that made things a bit cozy but overall was a great experience. Would definitely recommend.

The only confusion was that hotels.com, that we booked with did not do a good job of letting us know that the needed extra bed was not included in the “total price you will pay”. The hotel offered not to charge for it, but it is a problem for hotels.com, not this hotel.

I appreciate when I went down to the main area, there were at least one person at the desk at any time. They were helpful in providing what I needed, including letting me us glass cleaner to clean a dirty car windshield. This place was amazing for an overnight stay near the Grand Canyon.
