The room was clean, it was obvious some things were a little bit worn and old, but clean. I was extremely exhausted from traveling, I called shortly after I booked the room seeing if I could check in early so I could just sleep. That was not an issue at all, they were very accommodating. I would say it’s definitely a safe area, it’s part of Navajo nation, I would stay there with my children if they were still young, not too many amenities, but the surrounding area is beautiful and it’s safe. Nice big complementary breakfast in the morning. I was able to park right in front of my door.

It's a dated facility with little to recommend it beyond being low-priced. It isn't particularly dirty or poorly-equipped. It's just old. There is certainly better right nearby, and probably a lot worse.

Reserved this hotel because they had laundry factors,broken down had to find a neighboring laundromat! zYV wasn’t working right front desk ( Mary) got it working for us,then before bed went to turn the heater on for the night-not working,Nary came to fix that. For the price we for the room didn’t feel it was a good value at all, compared to the other chain hotels we gave stayed at the previous 7 days,

Dirty room and lobby. There was a phone but no place to plug in. Tv that didn't work. No towels. People upstairs were noisy all night. Bathroom very small door didn't close.water in shower was just a stream.Food and coffee old. Room smelled like mildew. Strange people hanging around outside. To much money for this room.

This place was filthy. We found long black hair on bed sheets, in bathroom. Mirror was splattered and tub was not clean. The towell I had out to step onto became filthy, which told me the floor was dirty outside of tub. Had we not been so weary from driving all day, we would have insisted either a refund or another cleaner room.

The check-in staff was super friendly. Unfortunately, when we got to our first floor room, there were dozens of beetles (dead and alive) all over the floor. We got a refund and stayed elsewhere.

Was not a good stay. The TV and the cable were not plugged in. The floor had areas that were sticky. The AC worked when it wanted to. The breakfast was not that good. We stayed because it was listed as an 8.2. It is more like a 4.2-5.2.

Pricing was good, very adequate for overnight on the road and comfortable bed. Unfortunately whoever was staying above us was fairly loud talkkng and laughing..thought they were moving luggage, but realized they must have been rolling all around the room in the wheeled chair..no carpets, so was noticeably loud..both later in evening and aftet 5 am.

Older style heat unit was very noisy. Woke me up repeatedly throughout the night. Heard peoples TV all night. Heard the people upstairs every time they walked across the floor. The person on the other side Of my room had congestion and heard him coughing throughout the night. I asked for a refund for my second night there but was refused because it was a "third party" reservation....I left anyway..

Rooms in general are fine; breakfast was great. However, upon check in, could not get tv to work, and to be told “ that I just have to be smarter than the tv” But this staff person also could not get tv to operate w/o log in messages, etc. After 3 times going back and forth to ofc, I suggested to just put me in a different room with a tv that works, to which, I was accused of having an attitude. I was put in a different room, and, tv did not work in that one either. Apparently, a cable was not connected properly in back of cabinet, I guess I didn’t realize that was my responsibility to verify all connections were proper.

This the first time I booked here and I recommend this hotel to others. The manager on duty did her job with pride and she needs a day off. A very personable lady. She knows her job and knows to treat her customers well. She said that she's salary employee but sometimes you need a break and have a nice day off.

We arrived at 2:40. There was one car in the parking lot. The desk clerk came out and told us we had to wait until 3 to check in. After 45 minutes we asked again. We had reservations for a king room. She put us in a queen next to the laundry so we listened to the commercial washer/dryer until 8 pm. The room was clean but the wall unit for heat/cool was so noisy we finally turned it off. In the morning we could not get a receipt because the office was closed with signage they would open at 7. After check in experience we decided to just leave.

We made arrangements to stay, admittingly last minute (earlier in the day). The credit card machine was inopperable, so check in took much longer than it should have. When we arrived, well after check-in time, two of our three rooms were available. One was in the process of being cleaned, and we waited nearly 40 minutes before requesting another room that was 95% done. The refrigerator in this room was missing all the shelves (room 210) which were provided from another of our rooms (room 209). The third party in our group stayed in room 212 and had an unworking heater. A trip to the front office garnered a space heater. The breakfast was adequate, but often empty on eggs and sausages. On our last morning there a group of local high school girls came in and helped themselves to the breakfast, leaving almost nothing for the guests staying there. For a last minute booking, I guess you could say we got what we paid for.

As was doing Route 66, found this little gem along the way. Exceeded all my expectations with how clean, comfortable and lovely the room was for being a motel. Easy to park, plus a really lovely breakfast included. Right opposite you have a quirky oldschool bar/saloon with friendly servers and all the main busy town centre is just 2-3 minutes drive down in a straight line. Re that- Romo’s Restaurant is a must visit for great food.

Really nice stay close to the Petrified Forest National Parl. The hotel staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfy, and the breakfast was very good. Lots of options and even a hot breakfast! Would definitely stay again!

The room was nice and clean, and bed was very comfortable. The room was large, and had a refrigerator and microwave. A very quiet motel, and had no noise at all from the road. The free breakfast was very good which was included in the price. It was in a good location from main street, and away from the noise of the railroad in town.

Overall, very good! Basically a half way stop off point between Los Angeles and Denver. Room was very clean, and Hotel was quiet. I did get there late in the evening. The continental breakfast was good, and had a good assortment of items. I felt safe there.😊

Clean and comfortable one night stay. They offered a free breakfast but I am gluten free and there wasn't much that I could eat except eggs and sausage. No one was attending to the breakfast layout and they were out of sausage. I ended up going somewhere else for breakfast. I was traveling with my dog. When I reserved and paid for the room on Hotels.com there wasn't an option for registering and paying for the pet fee. When I arrived at the Econo Lodge, at first the front desk said that there weren't anymore pet rooms available. I noted that the listing did not mention a limited number of pet rooms or give me the option to register my pet at time of booking. They ended up giving me a room. However, either Hotels.com or Econo Lodge needs to make their number of pet friendly rooms available clear to the guest at the time of booking and allow the guest to register their pet and pay the pet fee at the time of booking.

Old and it shows. Walked in, used the restroom, and there wasn't enough toilet paper to finish the job. Sent my son to the office to grab more. Went to wash my hands, and there was no soap at all. Luckily, i packed some, so i dug it out of my bag. The tub had a rust spot at the back, and peeling paint or something by the drain. The sink was clogged and the plug was broken, so the water didnt drain. And the sink and counter was dirty with little hairs on it. Barf. The bed was comfortable enough. Quiet area. Breakfast the next morning was 6a-9a. We got there around 8am. No waffle batter (i asked for more, she eventually brought more). No syrup (they were out) and nothing was being restocked (no plates, coffee, butter, tea bags) and juice machine was broken. There was a jug of amber liquid (not labeled) but i tried it because i was so thirsty and it was apple juice. We ate our dry waffles and left. There was 2 sausages (not replenished) and some scrambled eggs. Huge disappointment for breakfast. Highly recommend you DON'T stay here. We only booked it because Winslow was booked up.
