Swimming pool was amazingly clean, warm and felt wonderful! I arrived about 10 pm, and the pool and the Jacuzzi were still open until 11pm! The room was Very Clean, Very Spacious, and the bed was Very Comfortable! Looking forward to my next visit!

Pool hours were too limited. Skimpy towels. Dirty floor. Staff at check-out wasn't very helpful. Checked out early after paying on site and was told i had to go thru booking app to get credit, which was not the case. Now I have the hassle of trying to get the refund.

The Pool is open from 2pm - 11pm. The washer is the smallest I've ever seen, and costs $2/load, as does the dryer. They can make change out of bills at the front desk. Starch/sugar/gluten breakfast available in mornings, and was fine. Great location - glad we found it!

Not one of the best places we stayed at, but I loved the lobby and the indoor pool. There weren't many restaurants to order food from either. It did have a washroom to do laundry and that was convenient for us since we were road tripping.

We had to have a connecting room due to having my elderly mom. Our room had a smell, no hot water in the sink( must have been disconnected ) but the biggest complaint was the horrible air conditioner! It was deafening loud. Couldn’t sleep. We would have requested another room. But it was the only connecting rooms available. And it was upstairs. No elevator. My 88 yr old mom had to climb two sets of stairs. I’ll never stay at another Howard Johnson anything!

The room was mostly clean but dirty in the corners and although the floor appeared to be vacuumed it really needs a good mopping. I moved the refrigerator so I could plug something in the wall and the floor was filthy under it with trash and dirt. Under the bed was dirty too.

Professional friendly staff during check in and check out. Room was clean and comfortable and everything in the room worked as should be expected. Clean and well maintained facility. The breakfast was acceptable with the very basics to start your day. The cost for the night was exceptionally reasonable and the hotel is easily accessible from the freeway. There is a nice indoor pool and spa for guest which I did not use. Hotel is also great for families.

Everything worked well. We felt the mattress was too soft. Pillows and blankets were good. The rooms were very neat and clean. The room was quiet and comfortable. I felt the rolling chair at the desk was dangerous, rolled to easy and getting up from it was difficult . Falling esp. Older like me could easily happen. The tub had no slip features and again be careful not to fall while showering.

The room and property were clean and it does appear that they are keeping the property up to date as nothing was run down. The staff was friendly and helpful. The problem was the noise. It sounded like Godzilla was staying in the room above me stomping around. The rooms have doors for optional connecting rooms and the noise easily came through the door. I wound up getting up at 4AM and going for a walk as there was going to be no sleeping with the people next door talking and laughing loudly. Sometimes it is the luck of the draw as far as who is staying above or below you as they really do seem to be caring for the property well. If I stayed again I would request a second floor room so there would be no noise from above.

The lighting in the room was terrible. One ceiling fixture by the door for the whole room. There were a couple of lamps which helped a little. The only bathroom light in the sink area was around the back of the mirror. My wife couldn't see very well to put on her makeup. The tub had some hair in it and the complimentary shampoo was half gone like someone else had already used it. The room itself was fine. The beds and pillows were not too bad. The continental breakfast was decent.

It’s a little off-putting to have signs everywhere about charges for removing things from the room (towels? Alarm clocks?) but I guess it helps keep the place in good condition. Room was clean, up to date. Beds comfortable. Wifi was good. Lots of USB and power outlets.

Worst hotel/motel I ever stayed. I got the room 217, the bedsheets were rough as hell, not a comfort bed for sleeping. We arrived at 7pm and turned the AC on at 60 F but the room was at 85-90F all the time until 11 pm before we slept. When we slept the AC turned normal, and we woke up by the cold.

Room seemed clean, but definitely an older hotel. Could not get local tv channels (CBS), front desk was no help. Bathtub plunger did not work, toilet ran all night, shower curtain needed to be thrown away.

I never stay here more than a night at a time here on my semi-regular drives between Colorado and California, but it has become my top pick of the budget motel options in Holbrook because it feels safe and relatively homey. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are always clean.

I got there at 10:15 pm after driving for almost 8 hours. The receptionist was super nice but I don’t know what she did that took about 40 minutes to get checked as she someone cancelled my reservation. Once I got to the room it was very smelly. We went to bed and around 11;00 pm she came back knocking at the door. I asked what she needed and she would not respond until I had to open the door. She asked me if there were things in the room because apparently somebody else claimed that room or something. She was nice, but so untrained in customer service.

The staff was incredible. The ladies there went above and beyond their jobs. I have a family of eight. Our car broke down in the middle of Arizona and we got stranded and we ended up in their hotel. I’m not sure how it happened, but the lady had bags full of snacks and treats for my kids, and the manager allowed the juice and cereal to be open for my kids throughout the day, they gave us information on how to get rides and Catholic charities if we needed it they were extremely accommodating and beautiful hearted. I cannot thank them enough for how they helped make my kids feel better about the situation we were currently in. I honestly don’t think my kids would have Handled our situation as well as they did if it had not been for the ladies that were here

I have stayed a lot of hotels across the US and this was one of the worst ones I have stayed at. Customer service was absolutely horrible. My check in time was 3pm. I arrived a little early, but the person at the front desk said I had to wait until 3. I said ok, but if there was a restroom I could use and was told no public restrooms. I went out to my car to wait until 3, which was only 20 min. When I came back in, no one at the front desk. I had to pick up a phone and dial 0. Finally someone answered and the same person that helped earlier arrived at the counter. I asked for a first floor room because I was with someone with. Disability since they didn’t have an elevator. I was told no, the first floor rooms are for people with pets and they had to leave them available for that. That was ridiculous. My disabled family member had to climb up the stairs which took him about 20 min. The room was dirty, hair on the bed and walls, bathtub was blocked. Do not waste your time at this place! Worst customer service ever!

From check in to check out it was wonderful. The gentleman at the front desk was very kind and helpful. I had requested a ground floor if possible and he told me I was on the second floor. I asked if he had anything on the ground floor or if he would help me take my medical equipment up the stairs. There is not an elevator—the only pitfall. He happily said yes but then asked me if I minded a room set aside for pets on the first floor. It was very clean and fresh so I was on the ground floor. I was right under the stairwell but slept through the night. I didn’t used the pool but there were plenty of children having a ball. Breakfast was waffles, cereal or toast and apples. Not fancy but it got my morning started. This is definitely my place to stay when traveling up from Phoenix. Highly recommend it.

All is well. Nice room, clean and spacious. Located near the interstate. The man that checked us out this morning was great. I not only spilled one cup of coffee but two cups. He kept saying “It i ok, it is ok”. He cleaned up my mess and won’t let me help.

Comfortable room. We haven't had any problems. We can sometimes hear the people walking around in the room above us, but it's been quiet otherwise. Easy to find, and close to the highway. Clean and neat. Breakfast is waffles, cereal, muffins, coffee and juices. $20 fee for the dog, which is a decent charge. When I was checking in, the girl got a phone call while she was processing my information, and she had the guy on the phone wait until she was done with me. That's pretty respectful, and the right way to do it.

We read reviews before booking. The room and hotel overall were adequate as was expected based on the reviews. The reviews on the breakfast stated it was "lacking". Well that was an understatement. We thought, "how bad could the breakfast be"??. BAD, and definitely lacking.

The bed was comfortable, I slept well. Mini fridge very noisy we just unplugged it and put ice in our cooler. Breakfast was waffle, toast or beverage no other choices. No protein - would have been nice to have boiled eggs or yogurt if they don't want to cook.

The check-in staff was great. The morning staff was non-existent and the breakfast was almost completely depleted by 7:20am without replenishment before we had to leave. Even if breakfast was replenished it looks like waffles, toast, oatmeal and cereal are the only options and Tang or fake OJ. I don’t usually leave bad reviews, especially about the free breakfasts, but this one was particularly bad especially not replenishing the very limited carb options.

Everything was good with the exception of the breakfast. Essentially I had the choice of cold cereal or hot instant oatmeal. Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to have more choices if you advertise breakfast. The restaurant next door served excellent smoked meats and home made vegetables and soup—delicious.
