Great location for everything. Very friendly staff, knowledgeable about the area and extremely helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and inviting. We used the hot tub and laundry . Both were very clean. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This place was perfect for me and I highly recommend if you're pet-free (as they don't allow pets). The hotel was quiet, the room was clean and well-appointed, management provided great check-in/check-out service. The pool is heated in cooler months and there's a hot tub. It's in the "quiet part" of Sedona, which was wonderful for me and you can see Bell Rock from the sidewalk in front of the hotel. There were several good restaurants and a yoga studio within very short walking distance. I'll stay here again happily.

This Oak Creek location is outside of the tourist-crowded sidewalks uptown. It's quiet, with a small pool suitable for older people or little kids. The parking lot is nicely paved with no potholes or crowded spaces. The rooms are a good size, not crowded. We should've asked for another luggage rack. The service was excellent. The rooms were clean and everything was wiped. No dust. Bright and shiny clean bathroom and toilet. Good internet. Within walking distance of a coffee shop, cafe, market, and Mexican restaurant. It was an easy 15-minute drive to Red Rock SP. We would recommend this hotel to seniors and people with small children.

It was just ok. Dated. When booking if you think you cannot carry your luggage up 2 flights of stairs ask for ground level. No elevator.

I felt that the room was older and dirtier than I expected. In particular, the sofa was so dirty that I couldn’t sit on it. The loud noise from the air conditioner also made it hard to sleep, which was another downside.

Other than the room being VERY hot when my partner and I entered, it was very clean, and the bed was great! It took a while for the room to cool down, but when it did, man, it felt great!

There was a HUGE glob of hair in the drain upon check in. I didn't notice it until the tub was full of water instead of draining during my shower. They HAD to see the wad of hair while cleaning the tub it was HUGE. I didn't see it because I only had a candle lit, but I was mortified when I turned on the lights. Also my son's watch went missing from the room. So I would suggest locking your things up somehow or skipping cleaning

I loved the small complex, spacious rooms, firm plush beds, and parking near my door. I loved the fireplace for ambiance. I had a red rock view. Super close to Bell Rock. The 1/2 minute walk to Clark's Market had me shopping and eating from there instead of expensive restaurants. Half a block walk to the best coffee. The only thing I would improve is to replace the plastic coffee makers they provide that make the coffee taste like toxic plastic. I could not drink that coffee at all. That's why I gave it only a 3 for ecofriendliness. They could just put small 2 cup glass or stainless steel French presses in each room, cheaper than those terrible coffee makers, and safer too, as French presses aren't electric.

We stayed there twice during our trip. The first night, we were in room 107. It seemed like an older room. The bed was hard The remote did not work well. The second time we were in 308. A much newer room. Wonderful bed, nice room , everything worked. We walked to Bell Rock, which was fun.

Property is NOT in Sedona city limits as assumed from advertising, it is south. No person to person sign in .. all with a kiosk so not a personable feel to our registration process. Spa was out of order but still had to pay full price. Had to pay $100 ‘deposit’ that we hope gets refunded! Will not stay here again.

The property manager was super helpful during our stay. After an unfortunate hiking accident, we needed to move from the second floor to ground level due to a broken leg. Desert Quail took care of us without any fuss or hassle. They were amazing. And the restaurant behind the property with easy walking access, plus a full service grocery, made the week even better. Room was clean with all needed amenities. We definitely recommend this location if you need to stay in or near Sedona!

I showed up to check in at 2:00 in the afternoon, and the office was locked, even though the sign said they would be back by 2:00. I waited 30 minutes and left for my work. I returned at 8:30 at night and still no one was there. I had to wait 30 minutes for the manager to arrive. He didn’t even apologize for everything I went through.

I was immediately charged for my security deposit and when it came time to leave the manager was suspiciously nowhere to be found to get a refund. I only received a partial amount back when I called and they said they would look into it. On top of that, the shower curtain was broken inside my room. And the manager complained that I had received a rate even cheaper than their lowest rate because I had booked through Expedia. If you don’t want to offer Expedia rates, don’t put your property on Expedia, but definitely don’t complain to your guests about it.

Easy driving distance to Sedona passing several trail heads for hiking/walking. A short, scenic drive! Avoids the congestion/tourists of uptown Sedona. Restaurants & coffee shops within walking distance with a grocery store right behind it. Basic but very clean, plush towels, pool & quiet at night. Paul at check-in had good suggestions for food/hiking/scenic drives. Would highly recommend staying here.

I enjoyed my stay at Desert Quail Inn Sedona. I spent two nights. My room was very clean. The temperature in the room was easily controlled. It was quiet. It was a great value. I tool advantage of the grocery store that was behind the property to get apples, water, and a few breakfast items. That was important since I was picked up at 6 am for a tour. I was also able to walk to a local bar where the food was excellent. It was nice not to have to jump back into the car for dinner. Clean. Quiet. Nice location. Grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. I truly enjoyed my stay.

We really liked staying in the Village area due to less traffic and good dining options. Nice grocery right behind hotel. Very clean and basic hotel. Nice value for the area. No breakfast but bagels at grocery behind us and cafes around. We did two great hikes within 10 minutes of hotel. Highly recommend. we did have confusion on a deposit supposedly paid by expedia but think this was expedia issue?

This this hotel was in a nice convenient location for the activities we had planned. We only dined locally twice during our visits but the restaurants were very good and only one or two blocks away and easily walkable.

Awesome hotel was very clean and well kept. Staff was amazing in helping with directions on how to access the hiking trails in the area. Location of this hotel was ideal as well being close to a grocery store, a pub and restaurants. If I return to Sedona in the future, I will definitely stay there again. Highly recommended!

Great renovated motel with excellent location as its walkable to stores and restaurants. Very spacious room. They don't serve breakfast but have in-room coffee, frig and microwave. I would totally stay here again.
