Las Posadas of Sedona

Loved the Sedona location- Village of Oak Creek. Gorgeous red rocks, quiet, decent food choices. Tasty breakfast- one hot choice. Food area could be more polished. Unopened boxes of stock items visible. Carrot cake was delicious. One fruit bowl- raspberries were tired. Quaker oatmeal packets, white bread- very basic. Loved the small “meditation area.” The Egg Chair Swing was a bonus. Pool area- unheated pool. Chilly but there is an in-ground hot tub(nice); a portable sauna and cool plunge tub. If you’re older- the lid on plunge pool is a bit heavy and it helps to have some balance to enter. The temperature was chilly- just right. The staff were helpful, efficient. Cathy gets a special shout as does the breakfast chef. Our room was lovely. Really comfortable king bed, lots of room, water for tub could be hotter. Overall, the photos on the website are amazing; the facility rates as a very good. Would we stay here again for the price? Maybe.

Property is in a great location and away from the traffic of the main road. The pool was nice but small. Our Premium Suite was very nice with a large main king room and the living room with the pull out sofa. We had to go to Lobby to ask for pillows, sheets and blankets for the pull out sofa and the next day our unit was never cleaned or fresh towels delivered. We had to ask for those and were only give 2 bath towels without facecloths or bath mat. Also, our dishes were never done in the sink which was a disappointment. Grounds were ok...needed some attention and outdoor furniture needed to be reset after each evening.

The lighting was not enough. Very dark on the property. There was no lighting to walk to pool/hot tub and there was no lighting on and no where to turn lighting on at the pool/hot tub.

A cute and roomy place with beautiful landscaping and thoughtful appointments. It gave a more private feel to our stay. Parking was a bit difficult, there were limited spaces available for the rooms, as it was assigned inside a courtyard and we were a little later in arriving. I do feel that there should be adequate parking for each room. Cleanliness was good, service was good. The pool was not heated. Spa was boiling hot, really we could only put our legs in, but it was still nice after a long day. I would stay again.

The suite was great! Unfortunately we had to wait after the check in time to get in the room because it wasn’t clean. The pool was average and the photos made it look nicer. Overall the stay was great.

Great hotel. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and cold plunge. Breakfast is also above and beyond with a private chef. Pisa Lisa (pizza place) is just a few minutes walk and amazing food.

Supposed to be a resort. Nothing close pool and surrounding area was filthy

The property is beautiful and quiet but does need some upkeep. My husband had to clean the pool before he used it.

This property doesn't have a big parking lot if you have a big, long truck you going to have problems parking your truck. This property is good for couples is very relaxing and quiet. The breakfast is really good because the staff is cooking your breakfast how you want it.

Minimal and uncomfortable furnishings. Windows were filthy, patio furniture and patios stained and dirty. Not worth the expense.

We had an amazing experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and we enjoyed hanging out at night in the common area. The inn is close to everything.

This place needs work. The charming setting was nice, but the room is badly in need of repairs. Stained carpet and chipped furniture needs to be replaced and broken shutters that don’t shut need repair. I washed two dirty glasses with dish soap (from the kitchenette) so we could drink water out of them. They were that dirty. The pillows were old and flat. This brought the whole experience down. The breakfast was good and quickly served and the employees were kind and courteous.

The service and front desk people were GREAT and the room was spacious ~ however for the price of the room it was well below expectations. The furniture is EXTREMELY outdated, worn, and in disrepair. The bathroom had mold, old old old tile and in rough shape. The patio was dirty and unusable in its condition and the pool/hot tub was filthy. It really needs some TLC.

Booked a suite, on arrival were told the suite I booked was out of service and we were moved to an upgraded suite; however I think the suite we were moved to had not been used for quite some time. TVs weren’t working, internet was horrible and I don’t think I have ever seen so much calcium buildup on a shower head and faucet in my entire life. Room was very outdated. Thankfully, our TV issue was rectified however we spent the entire stay battling with the internet. For the amount of money paid to stay at this upscale resort, these complaints should never even be an issue.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent and different every morning and the personnel were very helpful and respectful. My only complaint was how noisy the room was. Our room was next the the main road. I recommend asking for a room that isn’t right by the road and a room upstairs. We could hear every footsteps the upstairs neighbors took.

The suite was perfect. Nice modern furnishings. Great free breakfast. Comfortable bed.

Beautiful views from our room. Clean, spacious room and the breakfast was a nice perk. Plastic mattress cover made bottom fitted sheet slip off every night. Need deep pocket sheets and a mattress pad over the plastic. Walking to restaurants for dinner was nice.

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were large with a great bathroom and fireplace. Breakfast was cooked in house and was excellent.

Loved our king suite with the views and the fireplace.

There was a resort fee billed after checkout. Not advised there was a resort fee which I was later advised covered breakfast & wifi. Breakfast was on site declared to be free. I have never before been billed for wifi. Resort fee was a bogus charge by hotel. Rooms were dark and furnishings old. Parking was limited. No real coverage of front desk. I am upset about the resort fee, since I was not advised there would be one. The charge card billing we were told was for incidentals. Had we know the fee for breakfast, we would have gone elsewhere. Very disappointed in lack of hospitality or service.

One of those comfortable stays where you say, “Oh, I’ll be back…..” Exceptional service and staff!

I was overcharged compared to what Expedia told me the price would be. I went to lobby 3 times without getting an answer

Our stay would have been phenomenal if not for the first night. Grounds and room overall are fresh, clean and inviting. Our room had a king bed, and pull-out couch divided by a fireplace. Check-in was easy, the front desk assured me that there is someone at reception 24 hours in case of anything. At about 12 PM our fire alarm goes off shortly after the carbon monoxide alarm sounded telling us to evacuate the room. My children were sleeping and we never turned on the fireplace. We ran downstairs to the front desk only to find the doors locked with no one in sight. I had been calling the front desk for over an hour with no answer. Finally, I decided to call the fire department. The fire department came and assessed the room, while my entire family waited outside. Still no sign of the front desk staff. After over an hour the front desk appears and stated he was on the other side of the resort doing maintenance and didn’t think to take his phone. He told me that management was on vacation and I could bring up my concerns to the front desk in the morning. The next morning, the front desk said they would provide the manager with my concerns. They offered me a complementary bottle of wine and bar of soap. At check-out I learned the the manager of the building felt that waving the resort fees, the bottle of wine, and a bar of soap was sufficient enough to remedy the situation. Terrible customer service. This situation was not only unsafe, but unprofessional and unacceptable.

Brilliant. Wish we had stayed longer, but we are definitely going back. Huge rooms and amazing staff and outdoor spaces. It’s about 15 minutes to Sedona but that’s fine. The local restaurants and bars are great and there’s a lot of choice.

Absolutely a beautiful peaceful place to visit. Brissa made our stay fantastic. Incredibly helpful and accommodating. Place was so quiet at night. Each morning we were able to go over to the clubhouse and have a delicious homemade omelette, French toast, cookies, fresh fruit. The entire staff was so friendly they made our anniversary trip very special.

Amazing stay. Have visited Sedona for over 25 years and usually would pick a time-share as they have better option'd accommodations (more condo vs. hotel). That said - Las Posadas was one of the top stays I've had in Sedona. The staff was super accommodating and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. And while I knew breakfast was included, I assumed it was your basic hotel continental breakfast. It was NOT. It's a full service meal w/ daily specials. Great way to start the day. Location is ideal IMO as it is away from the crowdedness of what Sedona is today. Village of Oak Creek has been my preferred place to stay when visiting. This will def. be one first accommodation choices on future visits.

Nice and clean hotel, good location, close to restaurants. Very quiet. Check in and out was easy. We did not use pool but we appreciated hot breakfast every morning before our hikes. Employees were very friendly.

Nice property that has a great location. No need to stay all the way out in Sedona if you want to hike and explore Bell Rock. Walking distance to a number of restaurants as well.

Neat little place at the southern end of Oak Creek Village that has everything you will need for your stay. Large style rooms with comfy bed and balcony for hanging out plus sitting area with couch and extra chairs. Included breakfast always hit the spot before venturing out on daily adventures. Lovely hotel and great location away from the hustle of Sedona but close enough. Good hiking all around the hotel area and lots of food and shopping very near as well

A real gem! Quiet, spacious facilities and the breakfasts each morning were delicious! We enjoyed that it was in a quieter area but uptown was just a short drive away.

Wonderful Breakfast omelettes or tacos were prepared to order. Grounds are clean and quiet. Very close to Bell Rock and Chapel of the Holy Cross. Easy access to Uptown Sedona. We enjoyed our stay.

It was good to be out of Sedona traffic. We enjoyed the spacious and comfortable room. Had to ask for linens for the convertible couc, but they were responsive. The breakfast was made to order and exceptional.

It is far from downtown but closer to hiking spots. The rooms are large but furniture has seen better days. The breakfast was OK one day and amazing the next depending on who’s cooking but yes, it includes a cook-to-order breakfast.

Amazing property, excellent breakfast

We were fortunate enough to spend a couple of nights at Las Posadas over Thanksgiving weekend and had a truly wonderful time. The clerk who checked us in on Thanksgiving night went above and beyond to make sure we got settled in and were comfortable. The next morning, the amazing treatment continued with breakfast. The chef was friendly and very accomodating of our dietary requests and the food was fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and the location is superb with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and hiking trails. Really hoping we get to stay there again one day!

The boutique style and personable staff made us feel at home. Made to order breakfast by a passionate, talented chef was quite refreshing!
