The room was ready for maintenance.A lot of paint was peeling off above the shower on the ceiling. Also some modernisation needed including e plugs fitting. The corridor smelt like a restroom. We had intended to eat dinner in the bistro one night but there were no comfortable chairs,it was cold and depressing in there so we went out.Also the menu was on the wall behind the bar and difficult to read.

Room was clean, but was run down. Huge stain on ceiling from previous leak. Carpet old. Beds and pillows were so so. Hotel was quiet and location was good for what we were doing. Staff was kind and courteous.
