The beds themselves were comfortable, but the duvet we had was super thin and flat. We informed the front desk, but housekeeping never got to our room. The carpet and walls were stained and we had no less than half a dozen moths in our room. There was hair that was not ours in the bathroom. The pool was also super dirty and cloudy, with lots of hairballs floating around as well as hundreds of ants on the pool deck. The concrete also looked to be decaying. The sign out front said the entire property was newly renovated, but the pool was forgotten or it has already been several years since then. There was a refrigerator in our room, but only one microwave in the lobby, I was told I could use by the front desk, but another employee stood and watched me like I was a criminal instead of a middle aged Mom who was reheating food for her child's dinner. The breakfast and dinner options were very expensive, so we ate elsewhere.

Great Hotel, clean rooms, great food at the restaurant. Everything was close by if you wanted to eat some place else. Dislikes: Paid 15.00 a day for parking and said they have a Continental breakfast included with stay, but that’s not true they charge 20.00 per person. The spa was fantastic! But the pool was supposed to be heated and it was not!

This was a very nice property with excellent staff, good food, clean room but still with some areas for improvement. We appreciated the great care the staff provided and meal options in the restaurant and facility. They did seem slightly understaffed but believe that may be due to occupancy numbers A few areas for improvement would be to continue renovating, increase the water temperature and keep hallways clean. The gym and pool were very nice and relaxing.

For the full 3 days we were there, only one was elevator in operation. The other guest elevator and the service elevator were both out of order. The stairs between floors locked behind you and did not allow access to any other floors. We felt we were in a death trap. Not to mention the inconvenience of many people waiting long periods of time for the single elevator. The parking lot was full indicating that there was no lack of paying guests! We had no room service during our stay. They did knock on the door while we were still in bed! I would avoid this hotel in the future.

Had a horrible experience for a Hilton…pool/hot tub had furniture IN it, no ice machines worked except one In entire hotel, stains on our bedspread, room smelled, and both elevators were not working for this multi level building. One that worked a portion of the time had a huge crack in the glass.Extremely disappointed in this property.

The Hilton Tucson East is convenient, the property is clean, the pool area very nice. The rooms are generally nice; the bed is comfortable. I was surprised to be charged $16 a night for parking. Not sure that has happened in the past? Overall a good place and would recommend.

Dirty. Hallways appears to not have been vacuumed for a few weeks. Refrigerator and microwave were disgusting. Floor did not appear to have been vacuumed very well. End tables and furniture did not appear to have been cleaned or at least wiped down. This room was a balcony suite and they did not have another one available to offer. They did have someone come clean it again before we settled in. The hotel is showing it's age and needs a refresh, but I can handle that, but what I saw appear to be pure neglect of cleaning. On the plus side the Bed was comfortable and the views are fantastic. I't a good location. That's the main thing this location has going for it. I hope they can correct things as it would be a shame to see this place shut down. I don't see Hilton keeping it's brand there unless things change. Note: the staff were friendly enough.

The lobby area and seating in the common areas on each floor was spacious and comfortable. I didn't like that the bathroom sink faucet leaked all over the counter when I used it, automatically was down a hard towel right off the bat because of that. There was an old blood stain on the comforter that I only noticed because I untuck the foot of the bed in order to sleep more comfortably. That was really gross and I felt like I was in a cheap motel when I saw that. No judgement, I've stayed in cheap motels before, but I was paying for the Hilton experience and didn't feel like it was that great for those two reasons. But the staff was absolutely wonderful, kind and helpful!

This was one of the worst hotel I have stayed at. It was extremely dirty, the halls were filthy with trash. The corners of the bathroom were black with dirt, there was someone’s hair all over the bathroom, there was an earwig on the bathroom floor. Will never stay there again.

I have stayed here everytime I am in Tucson but this time the age and lack of up keep is showing. Mold in showers, halls not vacuumed, light switches that turn themselves off and back on just by touching near the wall. No wifi, cracks in walls and roof damage. Will not stay again.

Bathroom caulking on floor gone in some places & very small. Sign outside newly renovated? Not rooms for Expedia customers!! Heating unit very nosey. Worst of all complained 2nd day housekeeping was also the worst! Not vacuumed, drinking glasses left dirty, no new ones, dirty sink & counter, 3rd day tub not cleaned, sink dirty, counter by TV dirty. Complained to front desk each day, am & pm and was told they would forward to the proper person. By text Linda & Malakai & would forward to housekeeping. On our last night! Found room clean except for bathtub & sink area. I was told housekeeping Manager would call on Saturday the day prior to our leaving. No call received!! I have come to the conclusion that Expedia is given worn down rooms!! We purchase our trips thru Expedia and this results in a very bad profile in what Expedia customers are given in accommodations. Housekeeping Mgr & housekeeper assigned should be held responsible. We stayed 4 nights and I am requesting a discount. I believe you should know what kind of service is being given to your customers. Both Linda & Malakai were given this information by test when the inquired about our stay. Thank you Mrs Barich

Our room was not dirty!! The shower floor was dirty, and the counter top was filthy. The sink and shower were so slow they drain that you couldn’t let the water stay on for very long until they were going to over flow. The hallway floors were dirty and not vacuumed. One of the only 2 elevators was out of order. Then to top it off, I had a roach appear in my shower with me in the morning. We couldn’t wait that get out of there. We originally booked thinking we would wake up and enjoy a nice breakfast in the restaurant but after experiencing all of this we knew we didn’t want to risk it. Such a disappointment!! We booked Hilton because of the quality we’d experienced in previous stays around the country. Never again.

Came in a bit early and was graciously given a bit of an early check in. Even though there was an event there, I was given undivided attention when checking in. The hotel itself is located in a good part of town and the scenery it great. Depending on what room you get you’ll get a great view out of your room.

Hotel was clean, comfortable beds with friendly staff. However really needs updating urgently and there aren’t microwaves in the rooms. I came in late and had to use a microwave on a different floor in a closed, isolated and less than clean room. I did not feel safe. Perhaps it can be relocated to a central area or better yet put microwaves in the rooms for customer convenience.

Pros: The room was clean with decent amenities like coffee, body wash, shampoo, etc. Pool and restaurant area looked nice but we didn't utilize. Rates were reasonable for Hilton. Cons: We could hear our neighbors all night long through the wall and in the hallway. Doors slam very loudly automatically and are not sealed well. We could see the hallway lights through the door crack which I'm sure contributed to hearing anyone in the hallway. Our bathroom door would not stay closed. I don't understand why they are charging for parking.

My toilet clogged the first night there. I let the front desk know in the morning and it was “fixed” when I got back. But it wasn’t. Just 3 squares of TP and it wouldn’t flush again. Let the front desk know again. They offered another room but I declined and asked that a plunger be left. Sure enough, two flushes in and it doesn’t drain again. Maybe time to upgrade? The whole entire staff was fantastic however. They couldn’t have been nicer!

Requested down free pillows and bedding due to allergies. The bed had down pillows and a comforter even though the hotels.com claimed hypoallergenic bedding. It took over 4 hours and t trips to the front desk to get new sheets and pillows and we were told we would have to make our own bed. There was also no lotion or conditioner in the room. It looks like a nice place but we’re were definitely discouraged by the level of service.

Service staff need more training. With only six diners in the restaurant they still are not prompt with service. 2 servers taking care of three tables could not offer drink refills and did not return with a condiment to one of the tables. Their comment was the same. How is that possible when there are only 3 tables (with two people at each table) and two servers? What are they doing? The only reason we could come up with is perhaps they are taking breaks while serving?? This is clearly a management issue of poor training. More signage needed as to what you do (seat yourself, wait)? They see you standing there and nobody greets you. Very bizarre as the person in the bar area can clearly see you and does not acknowledge you. Again, this is reflective of management not training properly. Also, they don’t act appreciative of you staying at their hotel. You would think they would say thank you for staying with us. How was your stay? Not even a thank you when checking out.

Service of staff was excellent... very friendly and responsive. Room didn't provide enough linens, we had to call to request more towels and pillows. Upon arrival, most of the power/lights did not work in the bedroom (suite). Hotel wifi was down a couple of times during our stay... was unable to do work on my computer for an hour.

The hotel was in a nice location. Sabino Canyon was the view from our window, where we hiked three times, so that was a highlight. The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was good, bathroom a little cozy but met our needs. The beds were so comfortable. There is no balcony, but room had a large window,although it did not open for ventilation. Four star for this hotel is a stretch, but overall a good experience for a place to drop your bags to explore this amazing city.

One thing I did NOT appreciate was buying a lemon drop martini in the hotel restaurant and being charged $8.25 for the vodka and $4.00 for the martini. It just seemed ridiculous. That's like charging for the meal and an extra charge for the silverware. So I would never recommend eating there.

The hotel and room are good. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast pancake is chewy and stale. There were always dirty drink glasses as i exit my room on the floor on the right side. I don't know who kept putting dirty glasses near my room. It is weird. The pool is small and full of bugs. The view is amazing.

It asked me to leave my name and room number and they would call me to get my order. They never called back. I had to have Uber deliver us dinner.
