Lots of construction going on during our stay so check in was not in a lobby. The man who checked me in was nice and it was really quick and he accommodated my ask for a view toward the mountain. The photos I will say are deceiving. Hopefully the construction means they are updating the property. The halls to the elevators and the elevators were dark, dingy, dirty, dented, stained, peeling paint. Made me wonder if it was really a Marriott. It was kind of gross and I’m not a picky hotel snob. Room was big and nice. Some furniture was looking a bit abused, but overall nice. Pool was nice but no lifeguard and mids running amok jumping into the shallow end (former lifeguard here, I was stressing out that they would get hurt) , running around screaming. Not relaxing at all. Pool much smaller than it looks in photo. Pool was so so but again not like the photos. One reason picked this place was early breakfast as we had to leave early, card in the room said 6:30 but the flyer in the elevator and restaurant door said 7. Not that big of a deal for most but if you have an early flight…. Overall the room and bed great! Property was not great but ok. Staff were friendly. Parking easy. No resort fee.

The room itself was not bad and had been renovated recently. No real issue there, but everything else at this site is very worn and dated. The hallway carpets were dirty and stained and we walked down several hallways and they were all equally as stained and dirty. The paint on building is worn, roof tiles, cracked and missing, common area around the pool was dirty. Breakfast was OK, but certainly not good, including the coffee. Pool was OK and clean, fitness room was OK, but towel rack had water damage. The entire property is just worn and dated, but for the price it was just OK, but certainly not good!

This place was giving crime scene vibes. The curtains in our room had red and brown liquid stains splattered all over them. Coffee? Wine? Blood? Who knows. There were hairs on my pillowcase when we arrived. The mini fridge remained luke warm and the knob to adjust the fridge temperature was broken. The closet was so weird and dysfunctional. A tiny area for hanging clothes with enough space for three shirts but nothing longer because the rod was barely a foot off the floor and was crammed between a safe and the wall. The top half of the closet was just a giant shelf with nothing to hang clothes from. The Do Not Disturb was a tiny, dirty magnet that would not stick to the door or door frame so we couldn't use that sign. HVAC sounds like a jet engine. You have to pay for in-room internet! The interior courtyard with trees and pool looks nice. The bed was comfortable. We skipped the free breakfast because everything else was so dirty.

We selected Sheraton due to their good reputation. Upon showing up, their parking lot was infested with homeless people doing drugs in the open. We proceeded to checkin. They gave us the keys to our room and sent us around to the backside of the building. Upon check-in, they told us there were only first floor rooms available. We went to find our room and the keys would not only not open the building access, but they would not open the hotel room door. A hotel employee passed by and let us in to our room where we found blood on our bedsheets. We called the front desk multiple times with no answer. So I went down to the lobby and the hotel lobby was being raided by about 10 police officers. She made me wait about 10 minutes and then offered me a fourth floor room… which she told us upon check-in was not available…. We accepted, even though it was a downgrade with 2 “Queen size” Beds. We went to the room and you could smell the smell from the hallway as you open the door. Upon walking into the room, there were 2 full-size beds, not even queens. The smell permeated the room and was completely unbearable. We contacted the hotel front desk again, but no answer. Showed up at the front desk. I put my room keys and phone on the counter as I was speaking to her and she confiscated my room keys and refused to give them back saying we could sleep in the lobby if we wanted to talk to a manager in the morning, so we left. No refund issued. Had to pay for 2 hotels for 1 stay. NIGHTMARE

Love the room. The separator curtain allowed my husband and I to pack the bags on one side of the room without keeping our kids awake. The size of the bed was great. We went on a road trip - stayed at 7 hotels, my husband said this was his favorite room. The big problem was we got there extremely late and immediately went to bed, only to find blood in BOTH beds in the morning that was definitely not from any of us. It was gross. Reminder to always pull back the sheets and check. I will never forget now.

Wasn’t too happy with our room. Our room wasn’t very nice. We had stains on our bed. The room its self seemed pretty banged up.outside of our room as well wasn’t very nice either. The elevator smelled bad and had spills all over the floor, the spills looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in awhile. Me and my husband did bring our infant along and I hate having a baby around places that don’t look very clean.

Common areas were dirty. The hotel is dated. Our room (3rd floor north wing) was VERY noisy. You hear EVERYTHING in the hallway. Our AC/heat unit would make a door slamming noise when it would turn on.

the room we got was really close to the kitchen and we could hear every time the staff would go in and out and would wake our baby. The rooms also have zero noise cancellations and i could hear everyone talking from inside their room so i could have a private conversation.

Everything was great, staff were awesome. Only complaint was no free wifi! And when we signed up online through a Marriot account it still didn’t work. We asked the front desk and they said it was down. Not a big deal, but being from Canada, our phones didn’t work the same for some reason.

This will be the second time I’ve stayed there actually stayed in the same room both times my only complaint is the room gets super hot. You turn the AC down and it’s like they have a preset at 70 and the room will not get any cooler than that.

Check in experience was an example of how not to treat a guest. We walked in and the person did not acknowledge us. Instead she was hidden behind the monitor and talking to housekeeping about closing rooms, etc. Tuen when she was finished and did ask how to help - it was transactional. The room had an odd smell when we walked in. The gate to the area of the rooms was trashed with what looked like room service plates and food left on them. The beds were extremely hard and the pillows felt like the stuffing was separated inside and flat.

I had erroneously booked the stay for the following night. I went to the front desk to check in on the night I thought I had booked. The employee had not one iota of a hospitality attitude or willingness to help. First, she simply said she couldn't find it and would not honor the rate. I went back out to my car and pulled up the reservation. It was for the following night. I approached again and showed her the reservation, (which she should have been able to easily find), and pointed out the error. She said she didn't usually work on Tuesday so she wouldn't have known. I know exactly what kind of excuse that is. She again said she couldn't help me and that I could take a seat and wait for the manager. She was dismissive and talking with a co worker. I did meet the manager and it became very clear why his staff is so poorly hospitality driven. He offered nothing. I would have expected, "I am so sorry for your error, (because it was mine, no denying that), let's book you tonight to get you settled and we can work on the refund". No. He stated simply that he had no recourse period. I left, booked somewhere else and filed a refund claim with HOTELS.com. This has yet to be settled. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Terrible stay. They knocked my door at 9 am to ask if they could clean the room at that time instead of only waiting until 11 am (check out time) to do it. I had arrived at almost 3 am and was very tired because I had driven for 8 hours. Even though I had the do not disturb sign outside my door the cleaning lady was screaming through a radio in spanish right outside my door for me to wake up. I will never stay back here.

I stay around 50 nights every year in Tucson for the last 15 years and this had become my go-to. But I think I'm done with them. The property is fine, and the rooms are incredible since they upgraded them some years ago. But the staff/service is rough. Occasionally I have meetings get done early and need to check into hotels around 2pm, and this is the one Tucson hotel that refuses me every time. Even on July days where their occupancy rate is likely 20%. And this last trip I tried to extend an additional night, and they made it so difficult at the front desk I ended up leaving and staying the night elsewhere.

The area is full of homeless. Such a shame Tucson has been overwhelmed by homeless. The exterior of the property is shapely but the lobby is fresh, the hallway carpets are filthy and the courtyard is seen better days. The room while dated is very much up to Marriott standards. My feelings upon driving into the property was I’ll take the loss and go somewhere else but the reviews raved about the rooms. I see large dumpster about telling me a renovation is in progress so looking forward to staying there in the future.

I felt that my family and our vehicles parked outside were safe. The Tucson Medical Center campus is next door and there were multiple dining options within walking distance. While the property is a little older, our room was clean and comfortable, the water in the shower was hot and breakfast was a nice bonus. I would stay here again and recommend to other families and business travelers.

The Sheraton staff were great! I especially want to call out the free continental breakfast offerings and friendly service staff. I haven’t seen this level of quality food and service since before Covid. It was so nice to not have to worry about what to do for breakfast every day.

The accommodations were excellent. It was clean and quiet. The free breakfast was one of the best I have had. Eggs seemed fresh some plain and some with vegetables. Not all dried out. There was a worker that served coffee and kept checking on us. She was excellent. Would definitely return here.

The area was completely convenient for our purposes. The rooms were clean and well organized and the HVAC was really great. The breakfast is a nice spread of hot food and cereals, and Continental Breakfast items. Staff are right there to assist in any way needed. The added convenience of a 24/7 mini-convenience store made the stay even easier.

The desk staff were very good. But they also covered the coffee bar and the quality of the coffee drinks (latte/cappuccino) varied widely depending on who made it. The on site restaurant dining menu was so-so.The service was good.
