Pros: kind and helpful employees, an abundance of newer pickleball/tennis courts, very large hotel rooms, nice ambience with great views and well manicured/clean surroundings, close to many great restaurants (with shuttle service within a mileage perimeter), heated pool with bar & food service Cons: restaurant service was incredibly slow, the rooms are beginning to show their age but are very clean. Would recommend. Great value & loved how clean and quiet the place was.

Rooms very clean with new furniture. Several areas are being remodeled. Golf courses are in great shape, unbelievable how soft the fairways and greens are in such great shape with 100+ temperatures.

Staff wonderful! Property starting to show age. Grounds beautiful !Two pools, one for swimming laps. Lots of tennis and pickleball courts. Property very golf cart friendly. Our room a little noisy as it was close to restaurant and public area.

We liked everything about this resort. We played golf, pickleball, went swimming, used the hot tubs. Sat on the patio and had lunch and watched the golfers. Our rooms were huge and very clean. It is located close to many hiking trails and lots of bike trails are near it. Would definitely stay again.

Nice large space with a good king size bed. Glad for the kitchen and tv space. Gym and sauna was nice along with sports facilities. We enjoyed our time at the Ventana Lodge.

We arrived around noon, so too early to check into our room but had a tee-time at the golf course. We got access to the club's locker room to freshen up and change. Easy access to both courses from the hotel.

The property is in a beautiful location with nice exterior grounds. The buildings and rooms are pretty dated but clean and comfortable. The little kitchens in the rooms are very minimal. They could be much better appointed with more dishes and better fridges with real freezers. The pools are nice and the tennis courts are excellent.

I’ve stayed here several times and love this resort. Rooms are spacious and w/a kitchenette, large dining and living areas. Comfortable bed and huge bathroom. This time the property wasn’t as clean as usual. However, upon reporting this, the resort bent over backwards to fix the problem. Excellent customer service and communication. Hey! We all make mistakes and this was taken care of immediately. Very gracious and hospitable. I definitely recommend The Lodge at Ventana and would stay here again.

Beautiful property! We stayed a night and loved the lodge! Only thing i would recommend is to please change out the coffee creamers in the rooms more often. I was looking forward to drinking a cup of coffee in the morning and when i poured in the coffee creamer it was chunky.

Beautiful property in a great area. Extremely hot weather in July. Easy to get around. Very delicious meals. Great room service. However, had to change rooms due to a sewage odor that was coming in from bathroom/shower vents. Other than this, truly enjoyable stay.

The location of the property and the property grounds are absolutely beautiful. The rooms are large and well appointed. However the rooms are not sound proofed at all. We were on the second level on the side of the restaurant. We could hear everyone talking. The way the restaurant is opened up to the second floor created the echo effect. Also we were near the exit stairs. We heard guests and workers going up and down the stairs constantly. I didn’t get more than maybe 1 hour of sleep. If I were to stay again I’d ask to be on the other side of the building and maybe first flood to see if that helps with the noise.

We absolutely loved our stay wished we could've stayed longer. Room was large, felt like we had our own apartment. Kitchen, dining table, sofas, amazing bathroom with tub! With couple robes, and king size bed. We cant wait to come back we felt so fancy here plus the mountain fews!

Staff was very friendly and had great tips on where to go for dinner/attractions. Amazing view from our room, room was clean and spacious. Had a little issue with the AC in our room but when we called the front desk to tell them they had maintenance in our room within minutes. No issues after that!

I was utilizing the property in the morning and they went in my room at 10 when check out wasn’t until 12 and turned over the room. I wasn’t able to go back in my room to enjoy the remainder of my lounging time. I spoke to the receptionist and she agreed they would call me with some sort of compensation as my stay was cut short. I never received a phone call.
