Excellent place to visit. Nice pools. Great dining. Nice little lounge. Lots of fun activities. All the employees were very helpful and cheerful.

A few recommendations for TVR, we would've liked to have a toaster or mini microwave in our room for the days that we just wanted to cave away in our room. We also think a towel rack or hook would be very convenient by the shower door. Lastly, the outdoor pool seemed a bit dark and dirty compared to what we expected. Overall this was a great staycation, and see why people enjoy coming out to TVR. Thank you to all the TVR staff, you all made our stay fantastic with your impeccable service!

Beautiful ranch was above and beyond our expectations. Staff is great. Thank you to one of the best experiences mountain biking, hiking, swimming and relaxing. My athletic son made great use of exercise room, pool and basketball court!

I stayed here to celebrate my birthday and I am so glad I did. This place is wonderful. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The ranch is beautiful and the facilities as well. My family and I loved the variety in activities and we enjoyed the cook out buffet and the outdoor and indoor pools. I am definitely coming back

We loved staying here! Get the package with breakfast included as it’s worth it! The best hotel breakfast ever!! The rooms are vintage and unique. Very clean. The outdoor pool is really nice.

We have never been to a "dude ranch, spa" vacation. We had so much fun my 21 year old daughter was already asking if we can visit again! We did horseback riding every day. Probably would have gone twice a day! Visited the spa, did watercolors, guided hike at night, did pool time, there was so much to do we didn't get it all done. Our room was spacious and very clean. We had a coffee maker in the room as well as a mini fridge. One of the best vacations we have had in a while!

The property was very relaxing and clean. The pool water was the only thing that I was disappointed about. There were alot of dead flies in it. Flies around other areas were not an issue. For a dude ranch they kept everything again neat and clean. The food... was outstanding!! I would totally stay there again!!

What an incredibly beautiful place! I am a local from Tucson and I was still impressed! The service was absolutely excellent on a par with a 5 star hotel. They have a gorgeous pool and hot tub both indoor and outdoor. We did a guided mountain bike ride and a guided horseback sunset walk and both were really fun. You really get the horse ranch experience with all the activities they offer. Our room was located in the original ranch building and was a bit small. The nature center there is small but mighty and the naturalist was incredibly knowledgable about everything desert. The Cowboy Cookout was really fun. Food was very good and there was live music with line dancing. My only complaint is that it is expensive. If you don't get the all inclusive expensive package then every activity costs a pretty penny. If you have the money this place is worth it!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The grandkids had a great time with the kid's activities, and the indoor pool was a great way to beat the heat. I was so pleased to discover this beautiful place. The ranch-style breakfast was delicious, and the gentleman telling stories of the origin of the ranch was delightful as well.

This stay is more than a stay, its an adventure that is catered by some of the friendliest staff I've ever met. You will also meet friendly guests at every turn. I very much enjoyed the horse back ride, outdoor eating, cool little bar, and all the fireplaces on the property and always on. I can't wait to go back.

We loved our one-night getaway to Tanque Verde Guest Ranch! The suite was huge and luxurious, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was amazing and very big. The grounds are well-maintained, the pools were clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast was top-notch.

Well the surrounding property is beautiful. This is a very old establishment and over time it shows. Our room was so small and one chair to sit in. There was a real wood fireplace. So the room wreaked of a campfire. Not my deal. Our bathroom was tiny tiny. No hooks l, no where to put our toiletries and the shower sucked. For the crazy high price of staying here it certainly is not worth it. And the food was very average. We had steak that was full of grizzle and very expensive. We would never recommend Tanque Verde Ranch.

We loved every aspect of this property! Great food, staff was wonderful and the ranch itself was so clean and accessible! We did the breakfast ride and I give it a 10 out of 10. The entire thing, 5 stars. We will go back! Already planning for a winter trip!

Our Room in the Road Runner neighborhood was amazing and the view we had was incredible. We love the facility. The smell in the hallway at indoor pool was unpleasant. The Cowboy cookout is cool but wasn't worth what we paid as the flies enjoyed the food first. Musician was great but expected a band or hoe down. Overall disappointed with the food there. Ordered a steak medium and got well done on our breakfast inclusive asked for OM eggs got scrambled. The manager of course fixed my ticket but I wanted a nice breakfast. Breakfast buffet is always the same as when I've visited usually hard pancakes items sit too long before being changed out. Otherwise the resort is amazing, staff are very accomodating and friendly. They will pick you up and take you anywhere you liked to go. Please improve the food thats my only complaint. Also cowboy cookout I know they'll be flies but needs to be watched better as I declined some food because the flies were all over it. Thank you!

Rooms are unusual but very clean with comfortable beds. No televisions. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and the property. The included breakfast was also excellent.

Checked in to a room and the heat was on and in Arizona in the summer the temps can be over 100F I got that fixed by messing with thermostat. I was there for a function and got a room as I did not want to drive after drinking. I came back from the function and the room was at 81 F. I could not get the A/C to come on. Called the front desk and they do not have anyone at the front desk but talked to the guard. He told me to wait a few minutes and if it still was not working to call him back. The room was up to 82F I called and he said the best he could do would be to move me to another room. I was ok with that even though it meant 3 different trips to get my things moved. The new room was cool. I went to lock the dead bolt and it did not work. For security of customers I would think the dead bolt should work. The show had a used bottle of shampoo on the window sill and there was a huge piece of tile broken. Picked up the phone in the room and the receiver cord was not connected to the base. I tried to plug it back in but it was not the right cord for the phone. I called again to the guard and he told me he would let the front desk know in the morning. The front desk opens at 6:30a.m. I was there just a short time after opening. The young lad at the front desk was nice and apologized and said she would have the room charges sent back to the third party I booked with. I am still waiting to see the reverse charge on my credit card. DO NOT book a room at this place.

There are no TV’s in any room, wish I would have known that ahead of time

It was amazing as always. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are super comfortable. Can’t say enough about the view. While Tucson is hot this time of year, it’s still beautiful and fun to visit. Had a wonderful time.

Wonderful stay as always. We had a great room, very spacious and quiet at the back of the property. The view was gorgeous. While we only stayed overnight, I could definitely see staying longer and getting a chance to enjoy the pool and hiking trails. The food at the restaurant is excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Staff were very friendly and attentive and always willing to help. The room was a good size but a bit dated and worn— furniture could definitely use an upgrade. The cast iron bed frames were nice, but not attached properly so every time your pillow pushed against it or you rolled over it clanged against the wall and woke us up. The ac in the room was locked so it couldn’t be set any lower than 68. But it was much warmer than that in the room, and even a sheet was too warm to sleep under.

I was last at Tanque Verde 46 years ago. What can I say, still has that old western charm about the place. The staff are second to none, absolutely brilliant, so friendly. Nothing is to much trouble for them. I chose July, but it's very hot. ( My fault) When the number of guests goes below 50, there is no longer a buffet option at meal times. So lucky there where over 50 ladies, who come every year for quilting. There are so many activities to do and to choose from, as I said just a little to hot for me and my nephew. It was fantastic to go back to the Tanque Verde after so many years. I would recommend trying the ranch lifestyle, but not in the hotter months as far to hot for most people. I will definitely go back.

The staff were amazing and all helpful. We got in super late from our flight, and the front desk was so accommodating and made the change in check in easy.

The setting, the food, the facilities, and the activities made the stay well worthwhile. The staff was attentive and friendly. The ranch is spectacular. I highly recommend them.

I liked the swimming pool, hiking trails, food for breakfast, great mattress, charming ambiance and welcoming staff at check in and in the saloon. I did not enjoy the gruff and unaware wait staff in the dining room. However, I can ignore this and I would come stay here again.

Top notch resort, even out of season (summer in AZ). Access to the beauty and wildlife of the desert is first-rate. Saw my first gila monster after 20 years in AZ, lots of lizards, javelinas, great hiking, etc. Friendly desk crew and restaurant servers, excellent kitchen.

Facility is excellent. Waited in checkout line over 15 minutes to pay and review bill. Answered phone instead of taking care of on site customers first. Great atmosphere.

Beautiful location excellent rooms and incredible staff!

We had an incredible stay at Tanque Verde Ranch. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view of the city - the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventure. Every inch of the ranch feels truly authentic, from the charming decor and delicious food to the warm, welcoming staff and the stables full of beautiful horses. You really get the full ranch experience here. We spent a lot of time enjoying the pool, which was lovely and refreshing. Dinner was very good, with the Chile Relleno standing out as an absolute highlight. The breakfast buffet was also delicious and had something for everyone. The true highlight of our stay, though, was the morning kids club activity. Running from 7 am to 3 pm, it included horse riding, archery, clay making, water activities, and even breakfast and lunch. It was an incredible experience for our 9 year old - she absolutely loved it. The kids club leaders were all phenomenal, creating a fun, safe, and memorable environment. Any time we find ourselves in Tucson, we would return to Tanque Verde Ranch just for this amazing kids club experience. We can’t recommend it enough!

Very quiet and peaceful! I loved the breakfast buffet. Its located at the edge of the city. If you are looking for a quiet atmosphere away from the city traffic, people, etc. this is the right place for you! They have different activities like horse riding, guided hiking, etc.

This is a beautiful resort/ranch right on Saguaro NP. Tanque Verde is the epitome of rustic luxury. The staff was great and the food was excellent!

This is one of my favorite resorts, the staff is super friendly the place is gorgeous and eco friendly. A great escape from Tucson I love it here.

Expensive! Cowboy BBQ, $50 a plate, REALLY?
