Fireside Lodge

we enjoyed our stay. we left a day early after seeing all we wanted.

Solid place to stay. It’s well worn in some aspects but with character and cleanliness….heated clean-looking outdoor pool (assuming seasonal)….continental breakfast in the morning (wrapped pastries, fruit, coffee and tea). Our bed was comfy, the room was clean, we had a fridge and microwave, gas fireplace w/ a timer. It’s not the most updated hotel but the price point was perfect, we had a view of the lake just outside our room and it’s a short walk to The Village. Positive interactions with the staff. Would stay again! (And they are pet friendly!).

I’ve been coming here for years. Suites with lake views and real fireplaces, at an affordable cost. It’s also a short walk to the center of town with restaurants and shops.

Lousy customer service. They don’t care about retaining customers

I don’t like leaving a poor review but wish I’d had more insight before booking. Room was dirty & neglected. Same with the grounds. The lady that checked us in left a line of customers in the lobby for 10+ mins then was cold and not welcoming. There was a younger man that helped us when we needed another blanket for the pull out bed and he was great. We did like how close it was to the Village. I’ll looo elsewhere next time.
