It was a very nice hot weekend at Big Bear but from start to finish the ice machine was out of order and they don't arrange to bring ice! I was going to 7-eleven for three day for ice and they help me to give me ice for my small cooler at NO CHARGE. I'm coming to this motel for few years but will see next time?

Room availability was terrible. Check in person not very helpful. Said downstairs rooms were not available because they were dirty and didn't have house cleaners to clean them. I am disabled and could not go upstairs. Always request downstairs. We looked in several windows downstairs that were clean and told the clerk. After telling him, he let us look. They were clean. If We hadn't used Hotels.com, we would have canceled our two day stay. We couldn't get our money back so we stayed. Clerk didn't care one way or another. No ice machine because clerk said it made the reception area hot and it was noisy. Sign says out of order. It's not, just unplugged. Thrashy and every room we have stayed in had something wrong with it such as leaky sink, sink clogged tv doesn't work, just horrible. We have only stayed because it is way less expensive than other hotel or motels in the area but it's just not worth it anymore. I go up there to have fun and I'm always put in a bad mood because of the staff or room condition which they don't fix

Staff was a bit rude and the grounds were not well kept. Ice machines broken and trash overflowing. Beds advised as queen but were more like full size.
