The room and location were just perfect! Many great restaurants and ambience within an easy 2 block walk, the room was very clean, had a mountain view, a gas fireplace, kitchenette (minus silverware), coffee machine, nice couch to relax on, great water pressure. Very clean. Not 5 star because the mattresses are cheap and worn out. The pillows also on the cheap side. I have lower back issues so it was an impossible sleep until I simply rotated my position to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed, then all was well, which indicates that it was probably fine when new but is just old. For example, when sleeping on my left side, with knees on the inside, they're elevated as if there were a pillow there. It's also sort of a hammock effect top to bottom, but rotating put my hip on a more solid position. It's like falling asleep on a couch, ouch. I'm 70, 6'3, 240 lbs so maybe a smaller stronger person without back issues wouldn't find it difficult. My wife, 5'9 and closer to 190 lbs didn't notice a problem, but she's more of a camper. Apart from that just a few minor maintenance issues. Water pressure so high, when I turned on the cold on the small kitchen sink, it was like a hose spicket and splashed water all over me. The bathroom fan is about a loud as a vacuum, but at least there's a small window over the sink, for those who can reach it. Otherwise, everything's in good repair. Now that I know the trick, I'd absolutely stay there again!

Old, dirty, smelly rooms. Pillows and bed old with old smells. It seems they haven't changed the furniture since the 80s.
