Lovely hotel. Very comfortable and clean room and bathroom. The bed was also comfy. They had bottle refill stations by the ice machine which we appreciated. The outdoor fireplace at the end of the day with a glass of wine. No elevator so ask for first floor if you have mobility issues.

My husband and I could only stay for one night, but we wish we had more time at Candle light Inn. Room was exactly as pictured and bed was very comfortable. Great location, walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Really enjoyed setting out by the fire for a while before turning in for the night.

The hotel is nice and unique. The location of it is what drew us to this hotel. It’s 2 blocks from Ocean Ave and down town Carmel. The beds were nice and the fire pit is cool. The only complaint I had is the you could hear the doors in everyone’s rooms opening and closing so it made it hard to sleep. Other than that a great stay

Freshly renovated with jet bath options, two minutes walk away from the major shopping and dining area. Easy and safe parking, which is not always the case in Carmel. Very friendly and helpful staff

Great location to walk to the Ocean Avenue and to the restaurants. I will come back again in the future. Love the corner unit (#5) space. But the price of the room is at the high $300. Thanks to the no parking fee charge.

Awesome location! So close to town center! The site was clean and well maintained. The room was very spacious and clean. Upon check in, we received cookies and a list of area partners that provided discounts and perks for eating or shopping with them. Love it! There was beautiful shrubbery everywhere too. Parking was very easy and plentiful. The bed was soft and comfy. There was a fireplace and mini frig area too. Tv was large and had many viewing options. Our room had a large jetted tub area that felt like a spa experience. Will definitely be back!!!!

Probably the cleanest hotel/inn I have stayed at in my travels in 50 years. The room was well furnished. No desk, though. Plenty of counter space in the room and bathroom. The radiant heating was quiet and worked well. The window shutters provided options for light/privacy. Table and chairs outside each room for guests to use. Thank you Candle Light Inn.

Very nice renovated rooms. Bed could be upgraded and front doors on units sounds like they are being slammed shut. Very loud and waking us throughout the night

Our stay was nice. Price was high for what we got. Pillows were miserable. We picked this room and location for the jetted tub. Water would not get hot so we had to bail on using it. It was a true bummer.

King jacuzzi tub room is beautiful! Bedding is luxurious and inviting. Fireplace is great addition. Shower has an opening to insert your hand to turn on water without opening door and getting you or floor wet, genius! Fire pit outside set up for semi private seating sections, very nice! They thought of everything! Will be back again.

Only issue we had was no A/C, room was hard to get cooled off before bedtime. Made the stay uncomfortable. The bed was too firm, some may love it but I’m a soft mattress guy.

Laurie is the front desk girl and she was so great at suggesting places for us to go for dinner. She also was just the best personality to talk to at night time while we picked up our daily cookie at night. Had a great time would come back.

My wife and I stayed two nights. The room was comfortable and the amenities offered (including fireplace) with our booking were as stated. There is no continental breakfast offered at the property, however there are a lot of great restaurant's and cafe’s in close proximity.

For the price. I just wish that they have microwave and a/c on the room. And also free breakfast wouldn’t hurt. Plus the door needed more security lock. We are talking almost $500 a night. Little things can go a long way. But overall my experience was good. Close to downtown the jetted tub is great. Come to think of it I guess thats what we paid for.
