Main reason we booked this property was for the pool and hot tub unfortunately it was closed down until may for renovation, it would have been nice to have a heads up on the website considering the pice we pay for this hotel.

AC kicks on every five minutes and is super loud. The elevator was out of service and had to walk down six flights of stairs with my luggage. The bathtub was leaking the entire stay.

$39 per night to park your car! I arrived back to the hotel on Saturday evening and drove around for 30 minutes looking for a parking space. Luckily they let me valet for the night. If $39 per night to park is ok with you then this hotel is fine.

The stay at the Marriott was comfortable, very friendly staff greeted us when we arrived offered bottled water and also took the time to look up my Bonvoy account so we could have complimentary wifi during our stay. Hotel lobby was clean, inviting and spacious with several cafes and a restaurant located convienently by the front entrance. For those who are interested they have Top Golf as well inside the hotel within the lobby by the pool area.

Hidden gem. Only disappointment was the construction right at the pool area. It was open, just not aesthetically pleasing. I also called to confirm they had a fire pit and I did not see one, maybe I missed it? Either way , I didn't get the chance to use it. I love the pool and hot tub hours and the comfort of our beds.

We came to this Marriott because it was conveniently located to the airport, as well as the places in Irvine that we were visiting. Great hotel with a Starbucks in the lobby for a quick, inexpensive breakfast. Only negative was the absolutely exorbitant overnight (daily) parking rates for hotel guests. The per day parking was actually higher $ than my per day luxury car rental cost. Ridiculous and unnecessarily punitive.

It was a quick in and out day, but definitely enjoyed it! I loved the fitness center!!!!! Updated machines and so many options and clean!!! My favorite part.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. We had a mobile key to our room but walked in on another family at 11 pm. Once we got a new room, there was a huge pile of hair in the shower. The staff were friendly but didn’t offer much to address these issues.

I stayed at this property before when it was first remolded and it was nice! Since then, the upkeep has declined. You can see visible dirt marks on the wall. The mirrors were dirty. Our toilet wasn’t working upon arrival and our iron totally obliterated when trying remove the cord from the coil.

We really liked everything about the property. Great food, nice pool with all the extras, clean!!! We asked to change rooms as we figure our previous tenant smoked in the room, smelled like cigarettes. Front desk was so accommodating.

We always book Marriott even if the cost is a bit more because they typically have nice beds and pillows which can make your entire vacation much better. This particular Marriott was not like the rest. Bed was not good at all and the pillows were absolutely horrible. Very small and no support at all. After a horrible nights sleep, I turned on the shower and it literally took close to 5 minutes to get any warm water with the lever all the way to hot. I could have booked a cheap motel for half the price and had the same experience. Avoid Avoid Avoid!

Staff was incredible. My only and major complaint was the “queen” beds were too small and not very comfortable. If I had other suggestions it would be a fire place in the lobby and also the fire pits outside don’t work well because the flame is too far from the seeting.

After a long travel day. Checkin was fine. We had many bags due to travel. Staff gladly gave us a luggage cart. Upon checkout an employee at an overstaffed front desk told my husband they would not give him a cart for our luggage without accompanying the cart. Guests could not operate a cart independently. My husband said we used a cart last night on our own and he’d just like one to take to the room and get all our stuff. Rather than “service” our needs, the staff wanted to know who helped us last night and explained whoever it was violated thier conpany policy letting us use a cart. We could care less about him “tattling” on a fellow staff member who had been WAY more helpful to us upon our checkin than he was as we were trying to leave. My husband proceeded to tell him we had no idea who gave us a cart last night. The guy was persistent and proceeded to tell us that it was a violation and we never should have been given a cart last night. So stupid. Not good service, and he clearly had zero clue we could care less about him ratting out his coworker from the night before. We didn’t get a cart from that guy. We ended up carrying all our bags down from the 7th floor without a cart. Staff needs hospitality training.

Liked the space in the room and the refrigeratordid not like that i had to call 3 or 4 times before the frnt desk answered the phone. I baby sat my grandkids on Saturday 25th:so i checked out of my room and moved in with them#1402. I order dinner using the QRCode. Very sissapointed that the kids menu, which offered hamburgers & quesadillas,told me that they were not acailable. If they are not available, they should be taken out of the menu!!! Then i ordered a.n iced tea and got none. But i paid for it. Then i asked for a cesar salad but got no dressing for it. Got 2 container of parmessan cheese but no dressing. I tried calling the restaurat but nothing. I tried calling the front dest but nothing. Technology is great, but the QR order screen has no space for reporting thing wrong or missing in your order. Maybe someghing could be added to the QRCode set up that if your order is incorrect you can otify the restaurant and they can fix the issue.

I stay here frequently and the last two times there have been issues in the hotel rooms. Last month the toilet was not functioning and a couple of days ago the TV was not connected for streaming. I had to wait both times for someone to come and fix these issues. I do not know why the maid service does not report issues or check the TVs.

This is a convention hotel that is perfectly located near the John Wayne airport, and within driving distance of the beach and Disney. For either pleasure or business, this location is great. The food options in the hotel are good, with more options within walking distance. There is only paid parking which is the only downside as the cost is a little high, but it is almost offset by the convenience of the location.

The stay itself was great. The location of the hotel is located in a business district. There I nowhere to commute on foot to a store or fast food restaurant. You literally have to drive 10 minutes away just to find a Walmart or fast food restaurant. The hotel itself was great! I was quite disappointed they did not have a microwave in the room.

Overall stay was great. The only thing I had an issue with was ordering breakfast from my room. The times listed for serving breakfast are wrong. The card I received at checkin said one time, the info sheet on the table said another time. When I scanned the QR code, it kept saying “unavailable until 7:00. then checked at 7, it was unavailable at 715. 715 turned to 730 when I finally gave up.

The information on Expedia did not match availability at the hotel. I paid extra for the m club and the featured amenities were not available at the weekend during our stay. The breakfast was not 4 star standard and boring. I thought I was in a 2 star hotel. I would not pay extra for m club again.

The first floor is beautiful which we couldnt wait to get into our room. But what a disappointment as our room consisted of two beds which seemed like twin size. My husband and I are on the smaller size so we barely fit on these beds, no way could someone of a larger frame feel any comfort in these beds. We had our two smaller boys on other bed. The restroom barn door did not close completely so not much privacy. Light was sensored so any time someone got up at night light turned on. Decided to have a meal in restaurant which came to see that each beer was at $10. We are talking basic beer, nothing apecial. Had we known that we would of just dranked what we had in our ice chest. We paid way less for a beer at the beach front restaurant we visited. Wow!!! Pool was under construction which was a shame. Well now have crossed this off my list, sorry. Feel most of the interest of hotel is invested on first floor to impress the guest but not much on the rooms and food prices quite high which made us have our next meal out of hotel.

Beautiful facility. Good valet parking. Check in and check out very efficient. Horrible room service. Ordered nice steak with garlic mashed, asparagus, and onion rings… received a steak with a ton of fries. That was it. Staff very helpful to resolve. But who wants to eat steak with a plastic knife??? Very far from Marriott standards that I’m accustomed to.

My husband and I stayed at the Irvine Marriott for one night, to support family running the OC Marathon. The hotel was conveniently located and the area felt reasonably safe. I recommend paying the $15 option on Expedia for parking, as it saved us $24. Parking is usually $39, but we mentioned that we prepaid parking online, so the front desk made sure to let us know to use our room key (not the scan bar on the parking receipt) to exit the parking lot. We had a clean, king room, overlooking the fountain. Bed was okay, water pressure was great. The plane and freeway traffic was noisy during the day but was surprisingly quiet at night. The walls are, unfortunately thin, though. Our neighbors' TV was really loud, so we were thankful they turned it off a little after 10:30. We would have had to ask to change rooms, if it stayed on much longer than that, given our early morning the next day. Also, all the doors along the halls slam shut. So, if you have neighbors who are active at night, prepare to listen to the doors slamming. Luckily, most people on our floor were pretty quiet. Just before midnight, two of them were drunkenly giggling about how they were going to go puke in the shower, but they were the last ones I heard before drifting off. Customer service quickly fixed an issue when there was some confusion between their online and TV menus for room service, but the food arrived cold and was only okay. Overall, this hotel was a decent value for the price.
