Slept good...Clean, comfy bed and pillows. Tv was very dim and there was no way to fix it. Shower was weak and cold. No hot water at all in the morning. But other then that it was fine.

The wifi , tv, nor toilet were working properly. However, it was the only spot that wasn’t charging an arm and a leg for an impromptu trip so it’s fine. If I could help it, I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s more of a motel vibe than a hotel.

The place was very clean, unfortunately our room was not cleaned after our first night, according to the person at checkout we were suppose to ask when checking in if we wanted house keeping. However we were not informed by the person who checked us in. Overall it was a good experience. The staff were very kind.

The room was horrible, it smelled very bad and because of my late arrival I just dealt with it. The room seemed fairly clean but had the smell of urine. There were repairs going on that may have been out of the hotels control but the noise was bad.

Costumer service was great but our room had an old smell and the cloth shade had stains which is probably the cause of the smell I didn't complained cause it was only for sleep, overall my stay it was ok, I could give better review if it wasn't for the smell.

This hotel gets booked just due to lack of inventory. I go to Oxnard for business and can’t always find availability at other hotels. Best Western is usually acceptable, but this one lacks a lot. First off, it is extremely noisy, being at 5 points area and by a train track. From motorcycles to sirens from first responders, it is hard to have any kind of peace and quiet. Breakfast is poor quality and lacks variety. The front desk staff are instructed not to check anyone in a minute before 3:00pm or they would charge an early checkin fee. We arrived at 2:45pm and were told to wait till 3:00pm. Of course we did, but by that time there was a long line to checkin, due to this unwelcoming policy. As a paying “guest” who travels for work and vacation, I’ve never been denied checkin just a few minutes before the official checkin time. There were plenty of available rooms and I had no special requests for a room, so this policy just made me feel unwelcome and set the uneasy feeling for the entire trip. I would definitely stay at another hotel even if more expensive.

We didn't realize when we booked this place that it was in a older, more dangerous part of town. We had to navigate our car through a Bicycle Gang of about 35 youths just to get the driveway. The worst part was the bed! It was hard as a rock and neither one of us slept that night. And forget about eating Breakfast (6-9am) there. Cold rubbery scrambled eggs, no bacon, and terrible biscuits and gravy.

Everything was fine no problems with that. My real problem is that when I checked in, I had to make a $100 deposit when I had already paid in full ahead of time I have been billed the full amount plus the $100 that they charge me when I checked in and I wanna know how I get that back?

I travel alot for work. My hours vary, so its hard to get an early check in. Once I explained my situation frot desk was great and helped me out. Tired after a long drive it was nice to be able to freshen up before I had to go to work.

Place was good to stay at. At night there are lots of homeless so if you have kids be careful. Also don’t leave any ítems in the car. They do have a 500$ dollar charge if you’re to loud to if you have a baby or toddlers keep that in mind if they get loud.

Very bad neighborhood. Staff seemed to hate their job. Breakfast was poor quality. A lot of noise from the street and trains. the bed was uncomfortable and the room smelled stuffy. Will not stay there again.

A very nice inviting property after a long day on the road. Reception was smooth and welcoming. The best part was how comfortable our bed was, it rivaled our bed at home and thats saying something. The breakfast the next morning was also excellent, a very nice outlay, with an automatic pancake making machine which was quite fascinating and a welcomed treat. All in all we would definitely stay there again.

Good location close to where we were going and clean rooms. The street intersection was confusing because it was a five way intersection. Could maybe explain the drive so people would know what to expect. Need usb ports in the room. The breakfast was good. Loved the automatic pancake maker.
