The room was great, especially for the price. The staff was very courteous, friendly and accommodating. The property could use some maintenance. The front doors and the elevator both malfunctioned during our stay. It seemed like the staff have to deal with this on a regular basis. The room is definitely in need of a refresh. However, the kicker was waking up in the morning, going into the kitchen area and seeing hundreds of tiny ants crawling all over the counter!!! When my husband informed the front desk agent, his response was “okay “. On top of the ants, we were charged an extra $75 pet cleaning; our dog made absolutely no mess. When I explained to two other people that we are Hilton members and that I thought we should be reimbursed somehow for an insect ridden room. Because we booked through Hotels.com, they would not do anything, even though the $75 fee was a charge directly from them. Steer clear of this dive! You deserve much, much better!!

My room was dirty and the carpets and walls had stains. The sink over flowed and made the room stink. Got water all over the place. Then they just sucked it out with a shop vac. I have a feeling this happens often. Definitely not worth staying at for almost $300 a night.

This hotel is a bit run down and smells awful. It was a cross between smoke and mildew. I actually went out and bought frebreeze spray to spray in the room because it smelled so awful. Breakfast was not bad. One elevator did not work so I had to walk a long ways to another elevator just to access my room. Thank goodness I was only staying one night.

This hotel was a wonderful stay!! Felt like home. My 3 children loved it! Everything went smoothly & we were very comfortable! My only complaint is that our suite has a kitchen & I made my husband call for salt & pepper packets, because our suite only had 1 salt packet..& i was cooking dinner, i definitely needed a little more salt. My husband called guest services & asked for more salt & pepper packets, and guest services stated they didn't have salt & pepper packets. Didn't make any sense if my room had some. I knew it wasn't left there from the last person...because the salt and pepper packets were with the tea/coffee packets, in its own slot. So, my husband had to drive to the store to get us salt & pepper. The next morning, we ate breakfast & they had salt & pepper packets..so, I'm not sure why they couldn't offer us any the night before. This is my only complaint. Besides this, we enjoyed our stay.

I prepaid for our 6 night stay but had to leave unexpectedly two nights early. We left on a Thursday morning several hours before checkout time and the front desk refused to refund the nights we couldn’t be there. Additionally, we had requested an accessible room for the walk in shower due to my Guillain Barre Syndrome and how i struggle to lift my legs over tub edges. We paid more for an accessible room and were given a standard tub room. Really made showers a hard time. The breakfast staff, housekeeping, laundry, maintenence and most everyone was very helpful and nice. The woman we met at the desk on Thursday 9-14 @ 10:30 am was not helpful. She told me they wouldn't refund the days and referred me to expedia. Expedia referrede back to the property and even communicated with ?Darla? At the front desk. Darla refused to refund after she was the one who referred me to expedia to talk about refunds. So, pass the buck ?Darla? Just got her hotel rated 1 star. So much for the Hilton customer service and adaptability touted on that plaque in the lobby...she certainly doesn't have it. Otherwise, its a good hotel. It's a good location. I am contacting customer care through Hilton to attempt to get a refund or credit for the two nights.

The numbering for the hotel rooms are a little weird but nothing crazy. Easy accessibility. The rooms are great. Breakfast is great. The girls at the front for the day of check in were rude.. The First girl was okay that checked me in. But then realized she gave me a 2 full size bed room. I booked a 1 king size bed. We returned back to the front desk and I had to get helped by the other lady. Who then was so rude she didn’t want to help at all. She was completely annoyed. Told her I booked a king bed and yet again she gave me such a hard time saying they were completely booked after the First Lady had given me the chance to get any floor because she had rooms on all floors !! So once I mention that to this 2nd girl she got mad and said it’ll be the same room. She wouldn’t book me for a a king size bed. Very annoying. Not helpful at all. Did not want to work. Other than that. Place was quiet and felt safe and parking was good and spacious. Breakfast was great. Other staff were nice.

Great place to stay. Our room was large and had a kitchen with full size fridge, coffee maker, microwave, stove and even a dishwasher! Staff is very friendly and always accommodating. Breakfast was included and had lots of variety. The hotel has free onsite parking, easy access to the freeway and is close to restaurants, gas and things to do. The Channel Islands, Ventura Pier and beaches are about 15 minutes away. We would recommend this hotel and plan to stay again on our next trip.

Front desk staff was difficult to understand over the phone when I called in the afternoon. However, check in was quick and easy. The room was nice, though I thought my reservation had said it was a king bed in a separate room from the pullout. Breakfast was good, but the dining room was far too warm for me, with the fireplace going and a room packed full of guests. The oatmeal offered was excellent, with walnuts, cranberries and brown sugar. The rosemary potatoes were excellent as well. My daughter was disappointed that there wasn’t any peach yogurt, but we arrived towards the end of breakfast time. The room needed a trash can at the bathroom sink area, not just near the separate toilet. The mattress was probably the most comfortable I’d ever slept on. Even the pullout mattress was decent. We enjoyed our stay overall.

We had a softball tournament in Ventura but wanted to stay overnight at this property since we had stayed before. It's not far from the freeway but very quiet. Its always fun to have a free breakfast in the dining room. Plenty of good food and very clean.

Stayed 3 nights in late Aug of 2026. Hotel was recently remodeled and our room was very nicely appointed with modern decor and new carpeting. There was a small kitchenette with stove top/fridge/mini-sink/microwave and dishwasher. Nice black out drapes if you wanted to sleep in. Air conditioner was easily adjustable to your liking. Several charging outlets available in room. Nice fan over the bed. I do wish the lights had dimmers. Crabtree & Evelyn amenities in bath and shower. Good quality towels. Bed was very comfortable and nice soft pillows. A portion of the the first floor still needed to be carpeted but wasn't a problem. Standard type breakfast included both hot items and cold choices. Grounds were nicely landscaped and well kept! Pool and jacuzzi were clean and pool towels were provided. Only downside, they hadn't received their pool lounge chairs, so there was only one available, but there was plenty of places to sit. This is a pet friendly hotel, so if you are allergic, it might not be the place for you.

Week long stay, arrived on Wednesday and room cleaning to be every other day. They only cleaned it on Friday, we had to request a cleaning with fresh towels and tp. They finally came on Tuesday but we had to wait around for an hour before they put it on their schedule. Very disappointing. Undergoing remodeling, new tile flooring was being installed which was inconvenient as access to building was changing. Otherwise the room was large with kitchen and living space.
