Best Western Inn at Palm Springs

Pool area is quite pleasant and private with the mountain backing right onto the property. Temperature of the pool was perfect.

I always stay here when in Palm Springs. Breakfast by the pool is always pleasant. 24-hr. pool and jacuzzi access is a plus. Close to popular hiking trail heads including Tahquitz.

Very nice motel in a great location. The pool and spa situated in most beautiful area and open 24/7. Rooms were spacious, area very safe and the king bed comfortable. The staff all very nice.

The area is perfect if you want a quick getaway. not too far from the downtown in case you dont want to drive and just uber. The place was very quiet, althought parking can be hard when you come in very late.

Going out to the pool at night was really relaxing and refreshing. The pool was still warm in December! The area around the pool is quiet and cozy, because it is right next to the mountains. We had a nice time!

The staff was very nice. The breakfast buffet was easy with the kids. The pool and hot tub temperatures were both spot on, and parking was a breeze.

Stayed one night with my dog. Room was comfortable and close to parking. Showers was awesome with a two head setup and lots of water pressure Pool hours were 24 hrs which is great since it is heated and very warm. Only issue was a non functioning room safe which I reported.

Clean, quiet, and well-maintained rooms

This property is incredibly outdated. Tiles have cracks in them. Outlet covers were cracked. The gap on the door was so large than any small critter/snake could’ve easily crawled/slithered through. The floors underneath the beds were disgusting and hadn’t been swept in who knows how long. The water smelled. The shower head is meant for someone about 5’2. Any taller and have fun crouching down. The walls and ceiling are outdated. The room is tiny. The place could use a paint job. The tv is tiny. The walls are thin which made for quite noisy neighbors. The pictures advertised are false. The reality looks nothing like them. It was also unfortunate to find out that the downtown area is more like 3 miles away and not 1, which isn’t a huge deal but was for us considering we have a toddler. Thankfully there is a convenient parking structure near the downtown area. My husband needed to use the printer in the office area, only to find out the receptionist mentioned there was no ink cartridge. What drew me to this hotel was the location and free daily breakfast. The daily breakfast was a benefit, and the pool was okay. The other guests were all nice people, which was the only other benefit. My husband checked for bedbugs because the room was so gross. Thankfully he didn’t find any. My advice? Splurge more on a nicer stay, preferably one with more updated amenities. I would not recommend this place.

Old, dirty, smelly and poorly maintained property. Very disappointing for a Best Western.

Don’t stay here. Thin walls and dirty property. Found hair on the ceiling in bathroom, informed management, they brought housekeeping to wake up my uninformed hungover husband to see the hair, and I got to clean up the hair myself because they never did when they “cleaned” our room between nights.

Even though the property was older, the rooms and grounds were clean and reasonably well maintained. The staff was courteous and attentive. I felt safe and secure on the property.

Property needs maintainable in paint, tiling and carpet cleaning. Bathroom tiles were loose. Door in bathroom and walls had peeling paint. Carpet looked and smell dirty.

The dampness in the rooms was horrible.

The floor wasn't mopped. Our shoes and feet were blackened. Bed wasn't comfortable to sleep on. I had been sleeping at other hotel with the same name, but this is worse.

I checked in & checked out immediately the room smelled horrible. I asked the GM Galen for a full refund because it’s not like anyone can smell a room from a computer & he refused. Unacceptable that the GM would only refund me 1 night & not give me a full refund. I would never book here. Don’t book this place it’s horrible. Read the reviews before you think of booking this place I should have read them before as well. Horrible place!

The wall air conditioning was old and loud. I wasn’t able to sleep for the two nights I was there. Cut trip short, got up at 3:30am and left

there is not one moment of quietness is super noisy you can hear everything from the second floor. There is no insulation whatsoever on the walls. my husband was up all night due to the noise from the second floor.

Large room with plenty of space. Comfortable beds. Clean. Building and rooms are dated and old.

Great location. Great breakfast. Our room looked to a blank wall of another hotel. No open windows. No bathroom ventalation. Its Palm Springs and I thought we could see outside our room, even if it was a parking lot. Dark room. They really try to keep it nice, but it is not the newest place in town.

Pretty basic hotel. Outside entry. Minimal landscaping and dog poop around is off putting. Convenient location, walking distance to excellent Mediterranean restaurant Miro. Convenient basic breakfast outside at the pool. Small bathroom. Ok for a night off the road.

If you have light sleep this hotel is not for you. There is always some sort of noise going on. The fridge, the AC, the street. Also, the AC units from other apartments are very very audible and woke me up multiple time in the night. There were not proper blankets on both beds. It got quite cold that night. Turning on the heating was not an option as it was located right next to the bed, blowing the air right at your body, cooling it down every further. The room was clean, but ran down. Paint chipping, dented furniture. Personal was friendly, but we had to wait for about 20 minutes until someone came to check us in. I have had much much better experiences with BW.

Paper thin walls

We stayed in the suite which was surprisingly spacious. We had a FULL kitchen (full-sized fridge, oven, dishwasher, stove, etc.) a dining and sitting area DOWNSTAIRS. Yes! There was an upstairs with 2 separate rooms and the bathroom. One with a king the other with 2 queens. The suite was dated and not well kept up. Stains on the walls, partial compliment of plates, silverware, etc. (you will need paper ware) The heater/AC units in the bedrooms kept us up ALL night. Like a freight train coming through the room when they kicked on. The second 2 nights we just turned up the new/quiet unit downstairs to 78 and left our doors opened a bit. That was fine. Heat rises so I’m not sure what you’d do in the summer?

It was amazing but we were downtown and the person from upstairs were making so much noise walking back and fourth all night

Our check-in with Frederick at the front desk was fine! He was personable, friendly, and got us checked in right away. As for the facility itself, this Best Western is in need of an update. The room was OK, but the bathroom area and shower area was quite tight. Plenty of plugs for all our chargers. Again the rooms are sorely in need of updating. The room smelled fresh and the bed was fine. We did partake of the breakfast, and it was good. Scrambled eggs, bacon, several types of pastry and toast, along with waffles that you could make, juice and coffee. That was quite tasty! The area that this Best Western is in is OK. We did not feel that it was unsafe. Parking was plentiful and all in all, it was OK for our two nights stay.

The staff and mgr are extremely helpful. We needed to store a bag for a few days between stays and mgr Abby and Richard said no problem. The cleaning staff are very pleasant as well. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

My room was not ready until 3:00 p.m. front desk is never friendly every time I go there I never see anyone with a smile.

I had gotten reservations with 3rd party hotel.com I got the deal for the amount off money I had due to car trouble, I end up sleeping in the car after I paid for the room $142.00 and clerk wanted $100 deposit that I didn’t have The website did not state that I needed deposit.. clerk said it was the best western policy…. She was rude and I end up losing out of $142 the last I had…

At check in, the staff was asleep at the sitting area. We woke him up.

Good service by everone

We arrived before check-in and our room wasn’t ready yet, but just a short time later the desk clerk came out and found us and said he had a room for us. It was very much appreciated.

Always a great experience here with a really friendly and helpful staff.

This is my preferred choice of places to stay during my annual trip to Palm Springs. It is about a three-minute drive from downtown, so it’s quiet. The pool area is right up against a hillside of hiking trails to trek early in the morning, and a fairly descent self-serve continental breakfast is s available poolside with ample seating. The view of the ridges are spectacular, and on several different days a flock of wild Big-Horn sheep could be seen up close. Service and room amenities are good, but the safe in my room was malfunctioning, (probably just needs new batteries) so I was unable to make use of it. Other than that everything was great.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bathroom was very clean and room was turned down daily. Location was great.

Hotel is located away from the main street. Overall a good location if you want to stay away from the busy Palm Springs downtown area. There are some but not many dining options in walkable distance. Distance to downtown Palm Springs is about 1.6 miles.

Beautiful and very quiet hide away!

In old section of Palm Springs, I am likely spoiled! Good for walking. Near old downtown especially Thursday night “bazaar” closing downtown for all sorts of booths. Dinner exquisite!

Including a hot breakfast is a bonus. The hot tub and pool are nice, and the location of the property, at the base of a mountain, is picturesque. Be aware, though, that this Best Western is NOT in the downtown area. It's only about 2 miles away, but that's not quick walking distance. The sound barriers leave much to be desired. In fact, after a few days of interrupted sleep, I asked to be moved to another room. If you stay there, request a room on the top (third) floor, so you won't hear footsteps above you.

It is an older property, but in good condition and clean. Staff was nice and the morning poolside breakfast was great.

I have stayed at the Best Western Inn before it became an Inn. We liked the price and found it to be ok for a few days. It seemed more dated and in need of an updating this past visit. I was told there would be someone in the office for 5 am checkout, but the office was closed. The scrambled eggs for breakfast were not very good. Bacon and sausage were tasty. I would say breakfast was just ok. Morton Botanical Garden is very near the motel and walkable jewel.

Great free breakfast options

Affordable. Convenient. Breakfast served at 7 am. I consider this late for early starters. Had to drive back home so a 6 am or 630 am breakfast would have been more accommodating.
