Great place to stay! Dog friendly! It was 4th of July weekend. This was my second time in Palm Springs and I enjoyed it more than the first-time hotel. Down town is a distance to walk to so we drove. I saw bikes outside the hotel but didn’t use them this time. I crate trained my dog, so she said in the room and enjoyed the ac while we went to the pool in a 100 degree weather. Wish they had an adult-only pool side. Both pools had bars, good drinks but limited options. The property had many grass areas for the dogs. I booked the deluxe double queen, called a few days before check in to request ground floor and we had a patio in front of the pool for my dog to access to.

The property is very nice especially the pool areas. But the hot tub was turned off in the main pool area which was disappointing. The only hot tub was overrun by small children. The staff was all very nice. But there was limited staff. For the price - it was fair but overall it has potential to be amazing!!! It needs a little tlc. The room was great but when I checked in they said there was just parking lot views available which was hard to believe since there didn’t seem to be many guests. We had to wait until 4pm to check in for a pool room. When we did it was really nice. So overall mostly good and some bad but overall my daughter and I had a great time and will be back.

Full service resort, we didn’t have to leave the property. There are several restaurants, a coffee shop, gift shop. Two separate pool areas, great pool hours. We hung out at the fire pit, hopped from pool to hot tub, just a wonderful stay

Our room was good. Property location is good and central to area. Only small pool was heated, which was fine for us. Bartender was friendly and drinks were great. Resort fees are high. Our stay was comfortable and quiet.

This hotel had really nice pools and the employees were super accommodating and kind. The grounds were meticulously kept up and clean and it felt extremely safe. One minus was that although there were locked doors at all the side entrances, they were all left unlocked throughout the day and evenings, leading me to believe that it is not as secure as it could be. The side entrance by building 5 seemed to be where guests smoked outside, and the hallways and stairwells coming in from there always stunk of cigarette smoke. And although the pools were clean and inviting, one of the pools was not heated and the hot tub was also cold at the larger pool. There were rarely pool towels in the bin to borrow, so we had to go ask for some at the front desk. Besides these negative points, the hotel was in a great location close to really nice restaurants and the stay was quite pleasant and relaxing. We truly enjoyed our stay at the Riviera Resort.

Their main pool was closed due an event Wich was not stated to me while booking. The AC was not working properly and making to much noise. There were dead bugs and roaches in front or our sliding door to the back.

Beautiful property, needs to be cleaned a bit better. Cigarette butts and small trash around the pool area. Our room wasn't cleaned for several days in a row and the trash needed to be taken out. There were small insects on the dresser.

The front lobby staff was very nice and the lobby itself is bright and new looking. We stayed on the first floor of building 4 (room 4124 I believe) and everything was old, outdated, and a little run down. The room was musty and also run down. There were 2 outlets in the room, one in the middle of the 2 beds where the lamp was, and another by the table. The one by the table was old and loose so both sockets didn't hold my charging block. I had to use the outlet in the bathroom while my husband used the one by the lamp. There was also no hand soap in the bathroom. It was a quick stay and we got in late at night so we didn't have the energy to contact the front desk. But the photos online are very misleading, at least for the room we stayed in. There seems to be no soundproofing either - the people above us were up late walking around and talking on the balcony, which is their perogative, but we could hear everything and had trouble sleeping because of it. I wouldn't stay here again given the price point.

There were bed bugs and caterpillars in the matrress. Arrive at 7pm, way past check in, and the host couldn’t provide me with an eta for a room. He said it could be an hour or it could be 3 and did not attempt to provide any sort of alternative. Finally I was able to speak to a supervisor who provided me a room only for the beds to be infested with bed bugs and caterpillars. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Have been to this property several times before. The rooms are average with below average bathrooms. Very dated and crowded. There is minimal storage in the rooms for items. Carpets are not clean.

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of this hotel. I addressed the front desk and all he said was I’ll make a note of it. The showers were covered with mold and water stains and the bath tub felt like it was going to cave in . I will not be staying at this hotel again and do not recommend.

This place is run down beat up and hotel is not keeping things up at all. Garbage in halls for several hours never seen picked up. No doors locked to most of the hotel entrances and possibly homeless people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Stains on sheets, holes in towels, missing hand cloths. Skirts on beds all marked up with foot prints. Walls and switches finger prints on every wall and door gross. Door to hotel room deadbolt doesn't lock, patio door was open if we didn't look we would have been sleeping with it open all night!!! Pool was not heated either but maybe its not heated at this time of year.

The staff was super nice. The property was run down. The pictures and the actual resort looked like two different resorts! The room was also very musty smelling when we checked in. The tub was peeling and appeared dirty. There were scuff marks all over the walls, we even found an old balloon in the closet! One of the lights in the bathroom vanity was not working. I was shocked at the lack of cleanliness considering the price of my stay. We booked the resort for 2 nights and actually left early and went to a neighboring hotel because the room quality was horrible.

Resort is just the name. No look, feel and amenities of a resort. Property is on a busy road so you can hear the traffic all the time. Room was a premium one but the layout was odd. Bed was next to the wall of the corridor so you can hear even people’s breaths. It is only two levels and there was no elevator so we had to carry our luggage through the stairs. Area around the “resort” was not very ideal. A lot of homeless activity around it.

The property was clean and maintained. However, the check-in process was a very bad experience. Checked in on a Saturday stood in line for the check-in desk a total of three times until I finally was given a room an hour and a half into check in time. Never in my travels have I ever been denied check in at check-in time. I saw other customers frustrated in the lobby too. Also had trouble sleeping the Saturday night I was there. The people above me were so incredibly loud.

The check in process is dysfuntional. The hotel staff lies about check in times. My check in was at 4pm. I didn't get a room until 5:15. Im guessing they sell late check out times until 3 or 4. Then they roughshoot the cleaning to have the rooms ready by 5 and 6.

This property was really nice and clean. I loved that there were two pools and the food on sight was actually delicious. However,,, our room was haunted. My mom woke up to scratching on the door that is shared with the next room. When we called the staff the noise stopped and no one was checked into the room. The staff was very nice and offered us another room in the front building. They stated that they get lots of complaints about unusual noises from empty rooms. Bed were so comfortable though!

Alex at the front desk was absolutely amazing!! We booked this trip very last min and we had booked the hotel based on the pool closing time but when we arrived there was a “new pool hours” notice. Alex saw that we were disappointed by the closing time and offered us a late checkout so we could enjoy the pool before our departure. He was so nice and accommodating that it made us start looking future dates to stay again. The room was very nice and we loved the pool area with the pool bar and food service. Riley our server at the pool was Awesome. We will definitely be back.

The front desk person or manager, Amelia, was incredibly rude. I was exhausted with one sleeping child and another sleepy child checking in late. She took her time with the customer in front without regard for others in line. When she got to us, she immediately turned to the other staff person to tell him something. When I told her that we would appreciate streamlining the check in process, she sneered that she needed to train. Oddly, I didn’t see her training when she was checking in the people before and taking a long time. But she felt the need to slow our process to “train.” Subsequently, she was cold and clearly rude. Even when I went outside, I felt someone looking. I looked inside and saw her staring at me and my small child as we tried to figure out how to get our luggage and my sleeping child into the room. Definitely one of the most uncomfortable check in experiences I have had in a very long time, if ever. Amelia can possibly train in other areas, but should not train in hospitality. Treating favored customers with warmth but those that are going through a tough moment with clear rudeness and absolute thoughtlessness is not good hospitality overall. I know the employee market is tough these days and Amelia will likely remain in her position without performance guidance. I provided this feedback only upon request.

The customer service was great from the beginning. The front desk employees, house keeping, pool staff and restaurant staff were all great. Our room was very clean and close to the pool. Kids had a great time. Can't wait toncome back.

The most beautiful and amazing experience! The resort made you feel like you were on an island! It has two gorgeous pools, an outdoor bar, pool chairs/ cabanas, towels and lemon water outside! I stayed here for 4 nights since I went to the Stage Coach Music Festival in Indio! The resort is only 10 minutes from the airport, convenient to restaurants, bars and a 7/11 across the street! You can even rent a bike to ride around town for free! The hotel was clean, spacious, beautiful and your view is palm trees and the pool! There is a sit down cafe for breakfast/ brunch, grab and go cafe, and a restaurant for dinner. The staff was all accommodating, kind, and helpful! I definitely will be back and will try out the spa services! I definitely recommend booking!

The pool was nice, the service was friendly. The beds were comfy and it was overall a good stay. The hotel is a little bit old but it runs well and is super close to down town. my kids loved it. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel has more of a slight resort feel. There’s 2 pools which were nice! The rooms were very large and the beds were so comfy the staff was so kind as well. The only down fall is the rooms if you’re not near the lobby are very very far. You have to go through every building to get to yours which can be a trek.

Convenient to airport and close to large selection of good restaurants. Rooms and facilities are clean but very dated. Room rates were competitive during Indian Wells tournament. It's about a 30 minute drive to Indian Well Tennis Center.

Overall my stay was disappointing. Kitchens were closed during my stay, only cold salads. Pool and pool bar were nice, though nothing on tap ( not even landshark?) Room was overall nice with a few minor issues like TV and bathtub that didnt work

We absolutely loved the breakfast restaurant, and pool. We liked how quiet it was at night and blackout curtains. The only thing we didn’t like was that the ice machine on our floor looked broken down and dirty. Other than the ice machine we had a great time and will be returning.

We expected Margaritaville to have more of an upbeat vibe & it was very low energy. The bartenders were all rude, pool ran out of towels both times we were there, it was messy & staff inattentive. Just not what I expected from a "resort" labeled establishment. On a positive note we were able to check in early & the bed & room was comfy. It just definitely didn't have the Margaritaville feel other than the decor. Nothing opened in the hotel until 4pm-no restaurants, coffee shop was barely open, one bar at the pool only was open. Gift shop offering was disappointing.

The hotel is large and the outdoor area is pretty. The staff was really nice throughout our stay, and gave us free cocktail passes - which is always extremely appreciated. The restaurant had pretty good food.

A nice surprise—we just needed a place to stop for the night after leaving Vegas for LA and stumbled upon Palm Springs and this charming resort. It had several pools, good dining, and even free bike rentals, which we took full advantage of. We spent the day riding all over Palm Springs, enjoying great shopping and dining along the way. The whole family had a wonderful time.

I was there mid-week between "Slash House" pool parties and the hotel was empty! My friend joined me for dinner in Circa 59 and we were the only people there. Awesome for us, not so for them! The room was great, the food was great, will definitely stay there again! Oh, and the valet and front desk staff were awesome!!
