Spotless room, great vibe, awesome pools.

I love this hotel! Very clean and the grounds are well looked after. Great size gym and well kept equipment. The main pool is amazing! So relaxing. The room was very comfortable.

This place is so amazing, we could have spent our whole vacation there if we wanted! They have a pool, hot tub, cafe, diner, spa and massage therapy, salon, gift shop, multiple bars, activities like yoga and more, and last but not least - gorgeous views of mountains, palm trees, and desert vistas everywhere you look. Oh, and don’t forget the stargazing 😉

We had a great time..pool party and then a cool lounge/bar after but also easily relaxed..

The pool could use some maintenance. There was a ring around the entire pool. The room was nice but the fireplace didn’t work (not a big deal given the time of year). However, we did pay a premium for the patio that included a fire place. The DJs at the pool could have played more of a variety of music since the pool party was a selling point. Food was amazing at the restaurant on the property. The loungers and cabanas were very nice and most were free. Overall the place was pleasing.

Had no access to the pool the day we were leaving. Thanks for the heads up!

Missed out on the 5 stars as there was water outage on check out day. Otherwise there is some construction going on but all to create an even better zen of a resort. The main pools open until 2am which is a lovely touch for a moonlight swim. Would go back.

The hotel needs a major face lift. Every year that I visit, I’m shocked that at why they don’t replace or refurbish. The pool area especially.

Pool was super dirty! Didn’t even seemed liked they skimmed it . Even dirtier than a vegas pool party water. Probably would stay somewhere else next time

My 1st time @ the ace. I really enjoyed the look & feel of the place. Its got style. Room was clean & comfortable. Im definitely up 4 staying here again in the near future.

Their pools are filthy, even at 8:30am oil and dirt floating on the top and the tile was gross! My room had toenail clippings on the floor and a muddy dirt footprint on the top of toilet seat and a hair ball was left in the sink however the Acr still stands as a swanky and fun spot for travelers just beware of cleanliness won't be great

Electric chargers don’t work. Roaches in the room. Air-con old and extremely noisy. Pool is a constant photoshoot, and if you don’t want to be used in promotional images for the Ace, then you can’t use the area… not it.

Extremely disappointed, I feel like I was hotel catfished. First impression walking into the lobby at 2:30 hoping I could check in 30 minutes early but no. The guy at the front desk said the room isn\'t ready and he\'s aiming for it to be ready at 3. Um ok sir, so we walked over by the pool area and let me just tell ya. I feel like I didn\'t even want to sit on anything. Everything was filthy with stains, you can clearly tell they have not updated anything in the pool area who knows maybe since the 60\'s? Which I get the vibe is med century but seriously disgusting everything was. Finally our room was ready at 3, of course get lost looking for the room because the guy gave no direction on where to go. We walk isn\'t the room and immediately "what is that horrible smell?!" Mothballs? Mold? Stains on the carpet, comforter, everything was just tired and dirty. We didn\'t want to stay in the room so we left and dreaded coming back. Came back to the room and just wanted to go to sleep but the upstairs people were so loud and I guess maintenance thought it was a good idea to start welding a gate at 9:00 at night, this went on past 10!!! I will never ever stay here again and I sure hope you all read these reviews before you think about wasting your money here. Also to add I called the desk multiple times but no one answered.

The rooms have a bad smell you cant get rid of. And the reason they dont have many photos of the King Suite is because it doesnt look good.

Ants all over the room. Door didn’t lock to the room.

Photos are deceiving. Looks much better in pics then in person. Sauna wasn’t available, rooms weren’t clean and had a weird stench, no hot water and tv wasn’t working. While front desk was accommodating in discounting stay I would not stay again.

The shower hot water handle was broken and the light bulbs were out and the room had pistachio shells on the floor. Shoddy

First let me say that I am 2X older than this property's target demographic, but I thoroughly enjoyed it here! The staff is amazing, the property is a refurbished Howard Johnsons (which I am old enough to have stayed in the original), but what they've done with the place is so fun e.g., the rooms are set up like glamping tents, comfy bed, the private patio that came w/ our room was perfect for hanging out w/ the dog, cute little fire place areas throughout and some great artwork, from murals to clay to textiles. Love it! The main pool is too busy and loud music wise for my old person self, but my 25 y/o self would have loved it. And the food all good. ANd we ate A LOT of it. If you have kids w/ kids, bring the whole fam for a trip here, there's something for everyone.

We have stayed at the Ace a few times but this trip was my favorite. Our room was quiet which I requested being a light sleeper. Beds are very firm which I prefer. Loved the shower. Only complaint was the TV channels were sometimes showing and sometimes were missing so we had to turn the TV on and off a few times. I loved staying during the middle of the week because we could easily get a spot at the pool which was our main reason for booking. It was easy to get beverages (friendliest bartenders and servers!) and although poolside refreshments were pricey - they were delicious. Hope to be back for another middle of the week stay soon!

Hotel seemed like a refurbished Motel 6. Beds were too low. No drawers to put clothes away. No in room coffee. Husband and son wanted to check out as soon as they saw the room.

The perfect spot for a laid-back desert getaway. The poolside scene is unbeatable—ideal for soaking up the sun with a drink in hand. The rooms are stylish, though on the smaller side, but the comfy beds and thoughtful amenities make up for it. The onsite spa is a must-visit—there’s nothing better than a relaxing massage before stretching out by the pool. Highly recommend for a chic and chill escape! 🌵☀️🕶️

absolutely love this hotel, we stay here whenever we want a cozy room with a private fire place. Great location, great amenities, can’t wait to come back again!

You can hear everytime the neighbor flushes the toilet. If you feel like spending the night in a Thrift Store, this place is for you. The furnishings are refurbished JUNK.

The ACE is really just a motel in need of a fresh coat of paint and some earplugs. The rooms are good-sized, the beds are comfortable, and the staff are friendly. But if you're looking to relax in the desert, this isn't the place. Music plays all day and night outside around the pool, and you can hear it in the rooms with all the doors closed. The service carts are also loud, and you can hear those at 7am as they go down the hall. Not a great wakeup call. The water pressure in the showers is miserable. And some teenagers hang out and do drugs in the parking lot every night, so be careful when you come back from your dinner and parties.

Rooms are tired … was kept up all night with a wedding event … was never provided with alternate room or forewarning … bad sleep

The rooms are filled with lots of thoughtful details and the beds are incredibly comfortable. However, the lack of coffee in the room, along with the long trek for ice in the desert were definite negatives. Worth a visit but room for improvement!

Staff were friendly, facilities were clean and we appreciate that there was so much offered on site!

Over charged $1000 for a $200 room. Unfriendly staff unwilling to help or provide answers.

They continued to charge my card for things that had nothing to do with us! Our refrigerator was set at max and when we opened the refrigerator, everything was destroyed! Then, instead of trying to remedy the situation, they tried to charge me double! Totally inappropriate - would not recommend.

Amazing staff and amenities

The staff was very attentive and friendly. Marty helped us at check-in and had great recommendations for eatery and other fun things to do. He continued attending to us throughout our stay. The pool DJ was fun.

I have been making a trip to Palm Springs, specifically the Ace, every summer for several years now. Like every nice hotel here, it is pricier than it needs to be, but it is what it is, and I have always really loved the experience. Until this stay. We stayed for 3 nights, and the first day was perfect. We were having a great time. Only to be woken up on the second day by literal jackhammers immediately outside of our patio (see attached pic of our POV). Half of the pool deck had turned into a construction zone overnight. Not only is it right in front of our room, we couldn't even escape the noise at the pool because that is where the work is being done. Nightmare. So me and everyone else that was staying there came to the front desk to complain, and the staff was very rude, played it off like it wasn’t a big deal, and said that there was “no way of knowing it was going to happen.” Since when do people have major construction happen with absolutely no prior knowledge of it? After a LOT of discussion, they gave us all refunds of the resort fees for the stay (a 15% discount to hear jackhammers all day). Besides the price tag, the way we were treated by the hotel staff was the most disappointing. It sucks as someone who genuinely looks forward to coming here all year to not have any warning whatsoever about potential construction and then be treated with such disrespect when the issue is brought up. Customer service needs drastic improvement if they want anyone returning.

Last week, I visited Palm Springs & stayed at the Ace Hotel! The pictures don't do the hotel justice, it is absolutely stunning, vibey, and the perfect desert oasis. From the very start of my trip, the staff went above and beyond to accomodate my requests of an earlier check in as well as a room by the pool. Upon hearing my birthday would be falling during my stay, they went the extra mile to make me feel so special. In my week stay, I observed the staff constantly checking in with the guests and accommodating all their requests and needs. The staff was always consistent, professional, caring, and had great energy. I want to give a huge shout-out to the managers: Martin & Rigo! As well as the staff members: Allan (the best & skilled bartender, I am still thinking about the drink 'Cosmic Time'), Daniel, Sarah, and Melissa. Additionally, the Amigo Room, poolside bar, live music over the weekend, and King's Highway (the best farm to table dishes so fresh) were incredible accommodations available at the hotel. All areas of the hotel (room, bar, restaurant, and pool) were eclectically beautiful, clean, and comfortable. Ps nobody is doing it like Ace Palm Springs! I will be recommending it to all my friends and family. I will definitely be visiting Palm Springs in the near future and the Ace will always be my go to spot. This trip was everything and more than I could have dreamed of because of the exceptional service I received.

My team and I came here for a production shoot outside of Palm Springs. The Check In process was okay, but when it came to checking out there were loads of problems. Random charges that we didn't have, and we were over charged multiple nights, over $1500 worth. When I called the front desk no one could help us get the overcharges off no one was able to figure it out. We had to call our credit card company to fight the charges. Overall, maybe it's good if you only have one room, but if you're booking multiple be wary...

Clean and minimal hotel, so many food places around the propery and is close to downtown. The pool was nice and played great music.

It’s a cute hotel but not walkable to anything except an ice cream shop. Unfortunately we had a robbery while at the hotel and they did nothing to help us and we’re still dealing with it with the police.

Excellent location and loved the swimming pool, the noisy airco and refrigerator in the room could use an update.

Enjoyed every minute of my stay at this location. I had a patio/garden room near the pool - it was spacious and so nice to have the outdoor space. The hotel amenities (pool, restaurant, service, hotel staff) were all amazing. And location to downtown was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

Location was awesome and it's definitely a retro vibe. Unfortunately there were some roaches in my room and no in-room coffee (although the coffee shop had one of the best lattes. Otherwise cool hotel with nice decorations. You can get a nicer hotel for less tho.

One of the most dog friendly hotels I've ever stayed at. Loved the little dog park area and the many, many dogs running around. We had a room with an adorable patio right by the pool. If it were summer it would have been the perfect location. Overall the area around the hotel is a little sparse but it's quiet and seemed safe. Would stay again.

I loved everything about the Ace! It was so cute and fun and the perfect place for a little getaway. It’s close to a bunch of yummy restaurants and has a cute pool/ bar area. The bed is also super comfortable. It’s a very unique place and I really enjoyed it, I’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely time. The pool Is fun. Food is great, rooms are stylish and comfortable. Staff are all friendly and helpful. It’s so cool to be looking at the mountains while sipping Sancerre at the pool. Nice music at the pool.

Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant had very good food but a limited menu.

I was hoping that because stagecoach was going on this weekend that there would be more cool people hanging but it was totally dead. Furthermore the bar didn’t have a great selection which was a disappointment and the food was not interesting at all

Lovely stay at the ace hotel. Good food and the drinks were great, we had brunch, lunch and dinner at the hotel /kings highway. We asked for a late check out but we’re denied as the hotel was “too busy” - it really wasn’t busy but the receptionist seemed as mean as a snake. They don’t clean rooms unless you call up and ask- even then they might forget to. Despite all this we had a great stay and would return.

Great hotel for our short stay. Nicely renovated rooms with high end amenities and good on-site bar/diner options. Would stay again!
