Auf den ersten Blick ist diese Unterkunft sehr schön und durchaus so wie auf den weiblichen Fotos zu sehen. Das Personal ist bemüht, doch leider auch überfordert, so dass viele Punkte unbearbeitet blieben. Für uns persönlich war es ärgerlich, dass das Internet die Hälfte unseres Aufenthaltes nicht funktionierte und wir nicht die gebuchte Anzahl von Betten bekamen. Sehr schade war auch, dass nicht kommuniziert wurde, dass Roomservice mit Zusatzkosten verbunden ist, ist aber auch keine Alternative gibt, da kein Reinigungsequipment zur Verfügung steht. Besonders der zusehens grüner werdende Pool war sehr schade, da er aufgrund mangelnder Hygiene nicht nutzbar war. Hinzufügen muss man auch, dass alle Pools inklusive dem öffentlichen nicht beheizt sind. Die Umgebung lädt leider auch nicht zum Spaziergang ein. Das Neubaugebiet ist riesig und kaum erschlossen, so, dass man zum nächsten Geschäft circa 20 Minuten zu Fuß gehen muss. Alles andere ist nur mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und würden nicht wiederkommen.

This was our second trip to Tulum Mexico which we absolutely love! We decided to stay in the Aldea Zama area bc we loved the proximity to both the beach (hotel zone) and also the city center. Xambe was amazing! From the moment we arrived we were greeted and welcomed like family. The hotel and most in the area are designed as apartment style with full kitchens. Our intent was to utilize this feature however the LOCAL restaurants were just too good to pass up tacos for breakfast! Lol!! The rooftop infinity edge pool is gorgeous and quiet. It was basically our own private retreat. We absolutely will be back to Xambe and have already recommended to friends.

Nula comunicación en el tema de una fuga al parecer de agua, en el techo de la sala/cocina en el 3er día de estancia, NUNCA ofrecieron cambio de habitación, u otra opción, ya que simularon que todo estaba bien. La alberca y jacuzzi les falta mantenimiento y químicos Sanitarios, así como fría el agua. La decoración y muebles de excelente calidad !!

Over all stay was good but couldve been better if they werent having constant water issues. Literally 4/5 nights we stayed, we had water issues, as in no water. Poor pressure etc. Staff were very sweet and respectful. Interiors were beautiful and modern artsy, Place was clean. Rooftop and pool were gorgeous. Neighborhood was mostly quiet and safe. I appreciated the Free laundry room, just bring detergent. There was an Ice machine room with filtered water. Poor internet connection in rooms were a tad annoying as well. Will stay again if they have those two issues sorted.

Nous avons eu un très bon accueil avec le personnel. Ils nous ont donné pas mal de conseils sur les lieux à visiter ou des restaurants. L’hôtel est vraiment splendide avec un super belle vue sur la forêt et un peu sur la zone hôtelière La chambre est spacieuse et bien équipée. Le roof top est sublime avec un coin bar. Il y a une laverie gratuite (lave linge +sèche linge) pour les clients de l’hôtel (vraiment très appréciable). La wifi fonctionne bien. L’hôtel est dans une zone vraiment calme. Nous avons eu quelques soucis avec des coupure d’eau, mais le personnel nous a prévenus et est tout de suite intervenu. Ce qui était appréciable

I chose the book now & pay later option but Xambé charged my card anyway. Even with proof, they denied it. Expedia was unable to resolve it and advised me to contact my bank. They are investigating. Prior to this & upon the advisement of an Expedia representative, I canceled the 1st booking in due time and rebooked as a bundle deal expecting a refund. As for the apartment, it was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The rooftop pool is gorgeous! However, I had an issue with bugs in my ground floor bedroom. I didn’t panic when I saw the first bug as the security guard was kind enough to come to the rescue. But the second night there was one on my bed that got away so I slept in the other bedroom with my daughter and her friend the remainder of our stay! The manager’s solution was to fumigate the next morning while we were out of the apartment. Just as I feared, that brought more out of “hiding” which left dead bugs on the floor that were not removed! I understand that the environment is a conducive habitat for bugs, however extra efforts should be taken to prevent or minimize the problem PRIOR to each guest’s arrival especially in the ground floor apartments. The receptionists are great! They reached out immediately through Expedia then WhatsApp to welcome me and offer assistance in any way to make our trip smooth and memorable.They were VERY responsive and accommodating via WhatsApp but in person communication was difficult. An electronic translator would be helpful.

Wir hatten eine große Suite mit 120 m2. Die Suite war sehr schön eingerichtet und man kann sich dort sehr wohl fühlen. Leider waren aber viele Ecken innerhalb der Suite und in den Gängen des Hotels nicht besonders sauber, bzw. nicht gut geputzt. Die Küche der Suite hat schönes Geschirr, einen großen Kühlschrank, eine Mikro und einen Herd ( keinen Tee-/ Kaffeekocher, wie in unserer Beschreibung). Aber es gab keinen Mülleimer, keinerlei Gewürze, keinen Spülschwamm oder Geschirrhandtuch etc… Die Mitarbeiter sind insgesamt nett und bemüht gewesen. Der Rooftopbereich mit langem Pool ist wunderschön. Die Umgebung ist sicher, grün und ruhig (bis auf einen Hund, der zeitweise durchgebellt hat), trotz vieler neuer Bauprojekte. Das Wasser im Hotel ist mehrfach ausgefallen. Ein Rad, Mietauto o. Ä. ist notwendig. Sowohl zur Strandregion, wie auch in die Stadt ist es doch recht weit. Gerne hätten wir das Xambé besser bewertet, und obwohl wir einen super Preis gezahlt haben für diese große tolle Wohnung, war man fast traurig, dass sich letztendlich um das Hotel und die Zimmer nicht besser gekümmert wird. Da wäre Potential nach oben.

Es un lugar precioso para estar, sin embargo la calefacción de la alberca funcionó 1 vez de todos los días que estuve, no hacían limpieza diario, había muchas arañas y telarañas en el baño, el bote de basura era insuficiente.

The property itself is absolutely beautiful, and the staff at the front desk were incredibly kind and welcoming, which we really appreciated. The location and overall atmosphere had so much potential for a great stay. However, the cleanliness was a major issue. There were ants everywhere, dirt all over the floor, and spider webs in multiple areas, which made it feel like the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in a while. It was disappointing because with better housekeeping, this place could be amazing. If management improves the cleaning standards, Xambe Hotel could be a great place to stay. Until then, I’d hesitate to recommend it.

Me dieron una habitación sucia, me cambiaron a otra con suciedades en el mini refrigerador. La limpieza de la habitación tiene un sobrecosto (considerable), lo que siempre está incluido en hoteles del mismo coste. Llegar es complicado, y al estar pegado a la selva entran muchos bichos.

I chose the book now & pay later option but Xambé charged my card anyway. Even with proof, they denied it. Expedia was unable to resolve it and advised me to contact my bank. They are investigating. Prior to this & upon the advisement of an Expedia representative, I canceled the 1st booking in due time and rebooked as a bundle deal expecting a refund. As for the apartment, it was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. The rooftop pool is gorgeous! However, I had an issue with bugs in my ground floor bedroom. I didn’t panic when I saw the first bug as the security guard was kind enough to come to the rescue. But the second night there was one on my bed that got away so I slept in the other bedroom with my daughter and her friend the remainder of our stay! The manager’s solution was to fumigate the next morning while we were out of the apartment. Just as I feared, that brought more out of “hiding” which left dead bugs on the floor that were not removed! I understand that the environment is a conducive habitat for bugs, however extra efforts should be taken to prevent or minimize the problem PRIOR to each guest’s arrival especially in the ground floor apartments. The receptionists are great! They reached out immediately through Expedia then WhatsApp to welcome me and offer assistance in any way to make our trip smooth and memorable.They were VERY responsive and accommodating via WhatsApp but in person communication was difficult. An electronic translator would be helpful.

Easy comunication with front desk through whatsapp. worth mentioning: if you book just book 1 bdrm, they might reserve the other part of the appartment to other guests which can be heard as if they are in your own room! This is an issue with the layout and guests can be heard a lot! So the design is that each floor has 4 big appartments with a kitchen, 2 bdrm and 2 bathrooms each. Wir hatten eine große Suite mit 120 m2. Die Suite war sehr schön eingerichtet und man kann sich dort sehr wohl fühlen. Leider waren aber viele Ecken innerhalb der Suite und in den Gängen des Hotels nicht besonders sauber, bzw. nicht gut geputzt. Die Küche der Suite hat schönes Geschirr, einen großen Kühlschrank, eine Mikro und einen Herd ( keinen Tee-/ Kaffeekocher, wie in unserer Beschreibung). Aber es gab keinen Mülleimer, keinerlei Gewürze, keinen Spülschwamm oder Geschirrhandtuch etc… Die Mitarbeiter sind insgesamt nett und bemüht gewesen. Der Rooftopbereich mit langem Pool ist wunderschön. Die Umgebung ist sicher, grün und ruhig (bis auf einen Hund, der zeitweise durchgebellt hat), trotz vieler neuer Bauprojekte. Das Wasser im Hotel ist mehrfach ausgefallen. Ein Rad, Mietauto o. Ä. ist notwendig. Sowohl zur Strandregion, wie auch in die Stadt ist es doch recht weit. Gerne hätten wir das Xambé besser bewertet, und obwohl wir einen super Preis gezahlt haben für diese große tolle Wohnung, war man fast traurig, dass sich letztendlich um das Hotel und die Zimmer nicht besser gekümmert wird. Xambé is a little peace of heaven! We stayed on the top floor and the view is incredible. Very safe and quiet area. 5-10 minute walk to amazing restaurants. I would recommend having a car. Surrounding area is all very nice and also very safe. Romina and Baltazar took amazing care of us! Highly recommend. This was my second time staying here and I hope to return again someday!

This was our second trip to Tulum Mexico which we absolutely love! We decided to stay in the Aldea Zama area bc we loved the proximity to both the beach (hotel zone) and also the city center. Xambe was amazing! From the moment we arrived we were greeted and welcomed like family. The hotel and most in the area are designed as apartment style with full kitchens. Our intent was to utilize this feature however the LOCAL restaurants were just too good to pass up tacos for breakfast! Lol!! The rooftop infinity edge pool is gorgeous and quiet. It was basically our own private retreat. We absolutely will be back to Xambe and have already recommended to friends.

We stayed in the top floor in the “Superior Suite” and it was a dream! It was absolutely beautiful and the view of the untouched jungle behind us was everything! The bed was giant, I think larger than a standard King bed and was the most comfortable bed and pillow I’ve ever slept in. Blackout curtains in the bedroom worked wonderfully. The rooftop public pool was also extremely nice. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming and quick to assist when we needed a hand. The Aldea Zama area of Tulum seemed to be the most developed as far as paved roads go. We were pleasantly surprised after staying in the Veleta area first where everything is dirt roads and potholes currently (early 2025). We already want to return to Xambé. I just hope the price doesn’t skyrocket after all these amazing reviews haha! I have nothing negative to say. We stayed in 4 different places and Xambé was our absolute favourite! We want to return with friends next time! I left my heart at Xambé Tulum ❤️

Overall nice hotel but definitely needs improvement. Cons: - Hot water was only running for 5 minutes, i had to go to the front desk to ask to fix it - AC remote was not working, I went to front desk they put new batteries but in the morning it was not working again - No extra toilet paper, you only have one roll in your bathroom - Also little ants in the room - They did not have any bikes for rent when I came Other than that was good

My partner and I booked the grand suite at this hotel which mentioned we would get the yard, pool AND outdoor spa tub. Upon check-in we were given just a normal apartment with a tub in the balcony. We tried to resolve the issue with the hotel for many days but they refused to give us the room we actually booked and stopped helping on getting a refund. Stay away from this hotel!! They have false advertisement and horrible communication. Save your money and go to a more reliable hotel.

I lo ed staying here. It was my first time in tulum and wasnt sure what to expect. The hotel is an easy walk to several restaurants and 7-11. The property was clean with a cute little balcony, where we sat in the early mornings. The room was very comfortable with air conditioning and cieling fan. We actually got cold at night. The hosts were gracious. Rented us a scooter. Gave us recommendations and helped arrange taxis and car services whenever we needed. The pool area is nice and relaxing but because its open air, it needs to be cleaned just a bit as you will see a few leaves from trees but nothing crazy. Id definitely stay here again.

The water was cold every single day. I couldn’t take a proper shower because the shower head had the water flying everywhere. The people at the front desk always went missing and you would have to yell hello for a few minutes to find someone.

La estadia de mi pareja y yo fue muy bonita. Todos son super amables, tuvimos problemas con laa reservaciones en otros lugares y ellos nos ayudaron en todo momento. Hicieron que nuestra estadia en Tulum fuera super agradable. Todos siempre nos dieron recomendaciones de lugares que visitar. Mi esposo y yo esperamos volver pronto.

Customer service was great however bad location nothing is in walking distance a taxi to anywhere is 20$ we rented a scooter which was fun, the beach and downtown area are roughly 15-20mins away

Xambé is a little peace of heaven! We stayed on the top floor and the view is incredible. Very safe and quiet area. 5-10 minute walk to amazing restaurants. I would recommend having a car. Surrounding area is all very nice and also very safe. Romina and Baltazar took amazing care of us! Highly recommend. This was my second time staying here and I hope to return again someday!

Quiet getaway for those looking for a more intimate jungle feel. Plenty of development in the area so be mindful that you still will be in a neighborhood that is actively undergoing construction. Would book again for multiple couples trips.

If you want to get away from the central area of Tulum this is the spot to go. Since it's far from the center, it is priced accordingly. Nice and quiet place. I would suggest a car or transport available to this destination as it's not easily reachable by foot.

I lo ed staying here. It was my first time in tulum and wasnt sure what to expect. The hotel is an easy walk to several restaurants and 7-11. The property was clean with a cute little balcony, where we sat in the early mornings. The room was very comfortable with air conditioning and cieling fan. We actually got cold at night. The hosts were gracious. Rented us a scooter. Gave us recommendations and helped arrange taxis and car services whenever we needed. The pool area is nice and relaxing but because its open air, it needs to be cleaned just a bit as you will see a few leaves from trees but nothing crazy. Id definitely stay here again.

This place is brand new, only 4 months old since it opened. The staff is extremely friendly and willing to help you by answering your questions or by simply confirming a taxi when needed. I would stay there again, the only con I didn\'t like is that the closest convenience store is "walking distance" but the roads are very confusing [we got lost].

The hotel is in a developing/construction area. The hotel itself is quite and the area as well. PLEASE be awared that no basic supplies are provided. The room had a coffee maker, but no coffee/sugar/creamer. There was a pitcher of water but no water is supplied. Only 1 roll of toilet paper was placed so we had to asked for another roll. The ONLY person that went above and beyond and made the experience worth it was the Receptionist, Monica Garcia!! She was extremely accommodating and made our visit pleasant. I would recommend this hotel but make sure you bring water and coffee supplies. Food wise, make sure you bring food. The shower head sprayers sprayed all over except down on me. The cold/hot water lever settings were backwards: cold was hot and hot was cold. Who I REALLY RECOMMEND it's the Receptionist! She's the best Receptionist ever!!!!

This was our second trip to Tulum Mexico which we absolutely love! We decided to stay in the Aldea Zama area bc we loved the proximity to both the beach (hotel zone) and also the city center. Xambe was amazing! From the moment we arrived we were greeted and welcomed like family. The hotel and most in the area are designed as apartment style with full kitchens. Our intent was to utilize this feature however the LOCAL restaurants were just too good to pass up tacos for breakfast! Lol!! The rooftop infinity edge pool is gorgeous and quiet. It was basically our own private retreat. We absolutely will be back to Xambe and have already recommended to friends.

Las habitaciones están excelentes , limpias, nuevas y modernas. Pero el acceso es muy complicado, es un laberinto de condominios (no uses Google map para llegar) . Tienes que llevar tus botellas de agua. Hay cafetera pero no hay café, tazas, cucharas azúcar (hay un seven/11 como un kilómetro ) La alberca está espectacular y tiene una vista muy bonita. El personal es amable y atento. Hay lavadora y secadora disponible. Las toallas son nuevas, hay secadora de cabello, shampoo, acondicionador y jabón. Me encantó y es muy tranquilo

Nous avons eu un très bon accueil avec le personnel. Ils nous ont donné pas mal de conseils sur les lieux à visiter ou des restaurants. L’hôtel est vraiment splendide avec un super belle vue sur la forêt et un peu sur la zone hôtelière La chambre est spacieuse et bien équipée. Le roof top est sublime avec un coin bar. Il y a une laverie gratuite (lave linge +sèche linge) pour les clients de l’hôtel (vraiment très appréciable). La wifi fonctionne bien. L’hôtel est dans une zone vraiment calme. Nous avons eu quelques soucis avec des coupure d’eau, mais le personnel nous a prévenus et est tout de suite intervenu. Ce qui était appréciable

Highest recommendation for Xambe! It is about 5 minutes outside of the heart of Tulum (between town and the beach), and therefore is tranquil and very convenient to get wherever you are going. (You will need GPS to find it, because the roads are really confusing.) The photos are completely accurate, but what they miss is the pleasure of listening and watching the wind through the jungle treetops. The hotel personnel were so friendly and helpful with their suggestions.
