The only downside is parking, which is tight. However it is free which in SM is unusual. I stayed here last year and raved about it then. This time it did not disappoint.

Perfect. Home from home. Hotel is beautifully furnished, our room was fabulous with a huge bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was lovely. Free cheese, biscuits and wine every afternoon. Home made cookies absolutely delicious. Walking distance from Santa Monica beach - miles of open sand with pacific rollers to play in. Free parking on site. Can’t praise it highly enough.

Hotel is located in a very quiet area of Santa Monica with limited dinner options unless you have a car/ Uber ready. Walking distance to the beach, the Inn is an 100+ old remodeled home with very clean rooms, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. Sadly, the second day of our stay they had a plumbing issue and we had no water to take a shower. We had an event to go and the whole ordeal was a huge inconvenience and delayed to our plans. I will have given it 5 stars if they had notified us about the water issue early so, we could have showered early.

Lovely place with a warm welcome! Our room was a little small but well appointed, the equipment is not state of the art but this is not an issue for the type of place (apart from the air conditioning which could be individually controllable). Breakfast was excellent with a lot of homemade dishes. Highly recommended!

Warm, friendly, attention to every detail. Went above & beyond our expectations:) from the afternoon hors d’oeuvres when we arrived to the sumptuous breakfast in the morning. Our room had tub with jets & fireplace, nice amenities! We were in #15, formerly the family dining room, beautifully converted. Highly recommend!

I guess an employee didn't show on the first morning there so I didn't get breakfast an the room was very expensive and people raved about the breakfast. I had to go out for coffee and breakfast! I think a room credit is due here. All else was fantastic but this was disappointing to say the least. For a bed and "breakfast"

This is one of the few hotels which has made us feel really at home: from Dominique's homemade pear cake and granola, through the rustic charm room to the late afternoon wine and cheese... Adorable bed and breakfast, 5 minutes walking to the beach! Sitting on the porch, drinking coffee and having a delicious homemade breakfast, was a wonderful way to start the morning. Wine and cheese was served in the afternoon. There was a community puzzle you could work on and plenty of seating downstairs for the guests. The staff was warm and inviting and the house smelled like home baked goods. The room was big and airy and comforable. We will be back!

What a find! This is such a charming bed and breakfast with a staff that cares. From the delicious breakfast they prepare to the fresh warm brownies they put out in the afternoon and then the wine and cheese hours in the evening, they make you feel welcome. You can mix and mingle with the other guests in the common area or retreat to your room for peace and quiet...I would definitely stay again. And did I mention it's just a short tunnel walk to the beach?
