The staff are relaxed yet very informed. They guided us to several wonderful, memorable spots. The service at the restaurants onsite was excellent, Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The property is lovely. At the time of our visit the pool was under full construction however I believe this will be resolved soon, it may be worth checking if this is a feature you “must have”. The rooms and property are kept pristine and the morning walk through the vineyard was lovely. The property is situated in a quiet area and within 20-25minutes to places like Bodega Bay/Goat Rock Beach/ Armstrong National Park and of course lots of lovely vineyards in the surrounding area.

WONDERFUL girls getaway! This resort is beautiful and a five star in every way! The service is outstanding, the rooms are newly renovated and luxurious, many special touches. The restaurant is outstanding, there are fire pits all around the property, and we went on a beautiful walk through their vineyards. The spa and pool is also top-notch we never even had to leave the resort it is highly recommended and we will return!

The property was recently renovated and looks amazing. The room we stayed in was beautifully upgraded and very spacious. The room had a fireplace and the balcony overlooked the vineyards. The resort grounds around the property are lovely. There is a walking path that led into the vineyards. The property also has multiple seating areas with firepits for guests to enjoy. The pool is perfect for relaxing after a day of wine tasting. Wish though that the pool side bar would stay open a little later. We had a great stay overall and we hope to be back here for another visit.

Beautiful property. Excellent customer service and fabulous views from rooms. Both vineyard and courtyard views are amazing. Restaurants and bars are fabulous. Brunch was great and served both breakfast and lunch items from 7:30-2pm. This resort is close to many wineries and conveniently located off of the highway. Resort fee is totally worth it with unlimited water, drinks, a complimentary wine bottle upon arrival. Coffee, tea, in room and no hidden fee like some resorts. Added plus was free EV chargers and multiple free parking lots.

Although next to highway 101, the hotel was pretty quiet. They were performing maintenance on the vineyard so it was not accessible when I stayed. The hotel staff were polite. The complimentary wine tasting was a nice option although I did not have time to attend. The only complaint is that they charge resort guest to use the indoor pool, which isn’t ideal especially since it rained the entire weekend of my stay. It would’ve been nice to relax in the indoor pool. I probably would stay closer to Sonoma in my next trip to the area.

Beautiful spot, lovely staff, gateway to the Russian River Valley. We spent 3 nights here and loved every minute of it. The pool was under renovation when we were there, but other than that the property was perfect.

The property, facilities and architecture are beautiful. The Reception staff were knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The pool area was very clean and the outdoor bar staff were extremely attentive. The hotel room was was very clean and beautifully furnished. It had a lovely balcony overlooking a vineyard an electric fireplace and a very large bathroom with a walk in shower. Overall, everything was wonderful, with one serious exception, the bed!!! The King Bed was extremely firm and very uncomfortable, so much so that we called the Reception Desk to see if there was another mattress available (there wasn’t). The bed was so uncomfortable

One of the Most beautiful properties we’ve been to… HOWEVER, if you’re a light sleeper it was horrible!!! The noise on the upper floor AND next door, the soundproofing did not exist!! We travel extensively & by far was the worst.

Reserved the Wisteria King, during check-in I was offered opportunity to upgrade to newly remodelled room in court area. Room 221 was really nice and we liked the layout. Unfortunately, the heater wasn’t working and after 15 minutes at 62 degrees I called the front desk and got moved to room 106. Walked to the next door building and into the first floor room. Heater was working but this smaller room was disappointing. Lots of noise from the front door closing and could hear other guests, especially our next door neighbours. This stay was not the experience we usually get in the Wisteria king room, which we have really enjoyed many times before. I hope my next stay goes much better, I really don’t want look for another resort.

Vintner’s Resort is a nice boutique property on a vineyard that provides beautiful views of a walkable vineyard. The rooms are great, but the bed was a bit too firm for our liking. Note - the restaurant, bar, and room service (at least during our stay) shut down at 9pm. There is a boutique spa with an caldarium and a plethora of treatment options. All in all, would love to return.

Upon arrival at 6:30pm (check in is at 4pm) we were informed valet and the bellmen had left for the evening. We had to park our vehicle, load up the cart with our luggage, take it to our room, unload it and then return the cart to the front desk area.

This is a wonderful resort! The landscape and grounds are just beautiful! The beds are so comfortable and the front desk and restaurant staff were attentive and friendly. Great location for easy access to surrounding wineries.

Everything was beautifully done. Great attention to detail. The staff was lovely. John Ash accommodated for vegan dinners—amazing food! I’m sure they would have done the same for any meal—the breakfast comment was based on the grab-and-go location in the lobby which had no vegan pastry/bagel/toast options—but was otherwise lovely!

The restaurant at the resort had absolutely horrible service. Had to go to the hostess stand to get a dinner menu, go to the bar to get the correct glass of wine and had to go back to hostess stand to inform her to put the bill on our room as our waiter was absolutely no where to be found. Then we come back from dinner to find our door open to our room as apparently the turn down SERVCE left the room wide open. Thank God all of our stuff was still in the room. I called down to the office and they stated a manager would contact me. 2 days later, no one has called. Very disappointed with this resort!

We were underwhelmed by this property. We stayed for two nights as part of a two week road trip to explore California. Compared with the range of other places we stayed it did not feel like good value. From the description it sounds like it’s in a secluded spot when in reality it overlooks fields growing vines but is adjacent to the freeway. Expect traffic noise. Don’t expect any help with your luggage and the complimentary wine tasting is actually a free glass of wine with no explanation. We booked via Expedia and we’re supposed to pay at the property but the payment (not for the room rate we booked) was taken a few days before we arrived in two instalments. There was no satisfactory explanation for this but the final payment was amended in the end. Perhaps we were just unlucky but we would struggle to recommend it as a great place to stay.

Vintners Inn is a wonderful place to stay and gateway to Sonoma Vineyards. We enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds. The rooms are large and comfortable. Meals at Vintners and John Ash were excellent. Service is top notch. This is a wonderful place.

We stayed in a vineyard view fireplace room and it was very spacious and well-appointed. Lovely property and good for walking. Only negatives were it's a not close to any restaurant and the hotel's restaurant, John Ash , had poor food at high prices. A shame because the restaurant is beautiful and service was good but the food just wasn't good.

We have stayed here quite a few times and have tried John & Ash a bunch, the restaurant is not favorite, the dinner menu has never been good. We always hope each year it will get better but it hasn't. The breakfast is always good, and the bartenders are amazing!

This has been our regional hotel of choice in Sonoma area for many years, this is my first review. The property is impeccable in every way. I want to comment on the food. Room service is important to us and the food in the cafe and John Ash & Co restaurant is perfect. The on-property garden provides much of the salad ingredients and we were blown away at the baby lettuce & farro salad quality! Seems strange to highlight such a specific thing but it stood out in sharp contrast to the food we had during this last two week trip. We met Chris who is the regenerative agriculture gardener and appreciate the level of effort and commitment the resort expends on the quality of food they serve their guests. Finally, the olive oil sold by the bottle at the reception from their trees is THE BEST! I wish I could have bought it by the gallon...maybe next time?
