We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was very convenient. We also really appreciated the complimentary coffee available in the office in the mornings. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

Stayed 5 nights

The facility used to be so nice but has gone down hill since the last time I visited. The rooms are so dirty and dingy. The jacuzzi was a brownish color and was in need of a serious cleaning. The room I originally booked was given to someone else and we had to spend the first night in a completely different room than what I reserved before moving the next day which was a huge inconvenience and makes me think that management needs to improve their own operations.

Stayed 8 nights

Ours was not the typical stay. We booked two weeks in advance for an 8 night stay and stayed in a larger suite with the kitchenette. we needed this for 2 toddlers and a dog. on day 6, we returned to the hotel to find the entire property in darkness. the front desk was turning away multiple check-ins because there was a transformer blow-up that couldn;t be repaired till next morning. to their credit, the staff including jessica and emmet were accomodating and offered refunds for the remaining nights. however, we wanted to speak to the general manager or the owner to ask them to hurry up repairs or find us accommodation in an alternate hotel. they refused to come forward and instead had the front desk take the brunt of the irate customers. after we had checked in and paid for an alternate hotel for the remainder of our stay, the lights came back as we returned to our room to take out our stuff. this was hard on the kids and our dog who'd had a long day. i think the staff is good, but management needs to be communicative and open to compensating customers. also, the cleaning staff doesnt do a great job of vacuuming the carpets (housekeeping is only on request). we were refunded for 1 night, to top: there's no dearth of seedy looking customers doing weed at all times of day and night. the one positive: the lake marina access passes. if you're in south lake tahoe with family, avoid this place, better options near it.
