Like hotel location pretty close to the lake and infrastructure like grocery stores. Very good indoor/outdoor pool and jacuzzi.

Great location — next to beach and restaurants, close to Stateline for additional activities. Property well maintained and clean. Parking is an issue—no self parking. Valet is $27/day in addition to the resort fee. Valet staff was great though.

Check-in was super easy. The valet was excellent. The guy even helped load my car, which was great. Everything overall was wonderful. my adult son use the restroom and the toilet wouldnt flush at 1:30 in the morning so I had to call the front desk to have maintenance come up, it took about 25 to 30 minutes but he got it fixed fast. I guess the water was turned off on the toilet for some reason. He was very helpful. The only complaint and something I didn’t care for was in the morning at 7:30. I had a maintenance man knock and enter the main entrance between A and B which I rented both and he yelled out housekeeping, so I shot up real fast because I had my young girls in the other room with the door open on both A and B unit…(The problem had already been fixed that night ). With him waking me up at 7:30 I figured I would ask for an I figured I would ask for a late check out so about 10 minutes later I had called the front desk to ask for a late check out. It was around 740. They told me they could only give me a half hour until 1030 to check out because all of their checkouts were already given out. it was really inconvenient being woken up that early and then on top of not being able to have a late check out. The property was good. The only thing I think needs to be fixed is the plastic covers that hang down from the pool that goes from inside to outside I had seen a girl try to hang on to the wood Part of it, which could be a liability if it broke and hurt somebody

Good hotel for families and kids. Nice pool and great courtyard with grills and games. Older building but it is clean and close to everything. Right on the Lake.

forced valet parking is a ripoff! they literally have an open lot next to them where self parking is very easily possible

I’ve stayed at this location a few times. Not happy with the change made to not offer self serve parking and charge for mandatory valet service of $27. Also swimming pool was not available.

we loved the property and the proximity to the lake, which was very close. The restaurant in the hotel was really good and we love the bartender, dale. Room was roomy and clean with a nice kitchenette. Also, they were activities. Scheduled regularly for adults and children. There was a pool, hot tub, and workout room. I really good place to stay. Looks like there’s a network issue

Excellent resort! Rooms were clean they had free washers and dryers and even their own free Redbox style dvd rental. On top of all that there are a ton of came ties including easy beach access and a great pool area

Property was clean. Parking is limited. We choose valet parking. Hotel was upgrading courtyard. Three fire pits outside the hotel which was awesome. Limited option on food at hotel itself but lots of restaurants in walking distance. Staff was awesome and always ready to help.

The room (we had 1 bd king suite) was very nice, spacious, good quality pull out sofa bed (unlike most out there) which was good given we had 4 people. Despite dishwasher was advertised, our particular room actually did not have it - not that it was critical for us, just a note. Hotel is big, so it's a longer walk from your room to somewhere else. We usually prefer self-parking but this option is not available unless you are a time share owner - I guess this was in description. We did use the pool and it has a nice configuration (half indoor half outdoor connected together), but the water was not super clean, especially on our second night. I wish pool had a view of the lake! Speaking of which, despite technically being on the lake, you cannot see it anywhere from the hotel, unless you are maybe on floor 4 or up. The onsite restaurant was absolutely dead when we tried to have dinner there on a Thu night. Quiet, a couple of other parties, and only a single employee was seen. She had us seated, and after a few minutes informed the kitchen was backed up and it would be at least an hour wait. We left. There are nice lively options just across the road, anywhere from nice and inexpensive to expensive with a great view of the lake.

The hotel itself was quite nice, but I was disappointed with the housekeeping service. I requested my room to be tidied up at 8 AM, following the hotel’s stated policy. However, when I returned later in the day, nothing had been done aside from towels and sheets being left on a chair, expecting me to make the bed myself. For a hotel of this caliber, I expected a higher level of hospitality and better attention to guest requests. Unfortunately, this experience has made me reconsider staying here again in the future

I do not recommend this resort to any family with kids, since the whole property is in refurnished condition, which means the smell of air is not good and have some noise. Second, the property has limited parking space, so u have to upgrade to the valet parking and pay more. Third, the cleanliness is terrible and find the hair on the new bed. The service is also terrible, pls be prepared to request several times and get the response.

Overall OK. The room is a bit small. The tub did not get cleaned thoroughly.

I stayed at this Marriott recently and the service was great, but the room layout was a bit unusual. To get to my room, I had to go through two separate doors, which made the setup feel awkward and not very functional. The space itself was clean, but the configuration just didn’t flow well and wasn’t as convenient as I expected.

The hotel its self is so nice! We had a 2 bedroom suite and I had a few complaints. The second bedroom was not truly attached. When you open the door from the outside there was a little room that had 2 other doors. One door was a bedroom and the other room was basically a 1 bedroom apartment. It would be nice except my kids kept getting stuck in the entry way trying to get to us during the night. The hotel is huge snd it is easy to get lost. The hallways are long and you have to take quite a few to get to the rooms. This was an issue for my elderly dad my last complaint is it is a time share (which i didn’t know) so every time I was in the lobby they were trying to sell me on the whole experience and get me attend their little tours. Also because it was a time share you had to valet park. (Which wasn’t free) this made it a pain every time we wanted to leave. Overall the hotel is nice. So many things for the kids to do. Just be prepared for the “timeshare” experience as well as hitting your step goals within the first hour lol

Well Room too small for two king bed, no room to sit except on the bed. Staff was very good. Don’t care for $27 parking, plus it’s a hassle coming and going. I know it’s Tahoe and like Reno and LVagus you extract all the profits you can. But like these places and others, it looks like your loosing customers.

The property es beautiful but the pillows are hard like rocks and the AC make so much noice couldn’t sleep

We stayed in this property over the Fourth of July weekend and while the room was somewhat dated it had everything we needed for our stay. The unit has a kitchenette which was nice to have even though we didn’t use it. The south Tahoe area is nicer personally than the NV side and would recommend this property. It was not far from the main streets in car and was ideally located if you have a car which we did. The property says it has access to a beach but it is very small and it is next to the marina where they rent boats. I wouldn’t choose the property for the beach but for the location.

Very spacious nice room that includes a kitchen,living room with a small patio overlooking the courtyard hat had picnic tables and bbq grills, I loved the fireplace and the the separate tv in each room. I liked that they had a restaurant and an indoor/outdoor pool. There were restaurants from McDonald to higher end restaurants along with a market.Greatnplace walking distance to lake.

First, I have a high level Hilton membership. I understand how that sounds, but I made that statement to highlight the lack of customer service I felt at this hotel since check-in. The room was good. They did not acknowledge or provide the complimentary items. Second, I was misquoted the fees that would be paid upon checkin. I normally complete reviews because customer service across all industries less the very high end hotels and businesses. I was ok that I was forced to valet, but to find my car was not being parked on the hotel premises and that on my last day they brought my car with a screw in the driver side rear tire. Upon asking for assistance the valet smirked and said you probably will not be able to get it fixed. Instead of assisting me, he just told me that I would not get it fixed in Tahoe. That was not an option, so I had to search all over South Lake. My two children each had soccer games that I needed to get them too. Furthermore, I had the tent and bench for my son’s team. After driving to several shops that showed they were open, but were actually closed. I am not sure how long it took me to find a place to get my car fixed. I can say it was not a tire shop but I found a place. As I said, customer service is very important to me. The place I found was oil change shop that does not handle tires, but two young men at the shop were able to assist me. The hotel did nothing to assist me, even though they brought me my car with the screw in it.

We had an amazing 2 night stay. The room was was great, staff was very friendly and accommodating to us. Will stay again.

Family of 5, parents with 13, 6 and 5 year yr old. We are not members of Hilton Vacation Club.We were never approached about the tour. We stayed Wed-Sat in the 2 bedroom which is the king and double room.Layout worked great for us. I made meals in the full kitchen. The rooms were clean with updated decor. They provided laundry soap for the washers and dryers that are on every floor! Kids enjoyed the pool in the evening after being in the lake during the day. Since we are not members we did have to pay the daily valet charge.They park across the street in their own garage.You request your vehicle via text before you head down and it was always there when we got to the front. Guests communicate with the front desk via text as well and they respond very quickly. We requested trash removed daily which it was. We also requested fresh towels after our second night which arrived quickly. Was the stay perfect, no. Power went out the first night we were there for a few hours in the evening and we worried about the groceries we had just purchased. They ended up being fine. It rained heavily for about an hour during the power outage (not their fault) but it made for keeping kids entertained tough.Room could use a broom. King bed lumpy, doubles great.Rooms facing the street are noisier Overall this was a great stay and I highly recommend for families.We booked through a third party app and were charged exactly as quoted except for the parking. Our family will definitely be back.

Absolute high pressure to sign up for local activities - very over the top.

We’ve stayed at Hilton Vacation Club before and have always loved the spacious rooms and the fun game area for kids. However, this recent stay was a huge disappointment, especially considering the high prices. Service was terrible. I called housekeeping for extra blankets, and after waiting 20 minutes with no response, I had to call again. We also accidentally broke a glass in the room and called housekeeping to clean it up. After another 20-minute wait, I had to call again. When someone finally arrived, they swept up but left glass pieces behind, making me anxious the entire trip that someone would get hurt. To make matters worse, someone from the hotel texted me for feedback. I responded honestly, saying the service was bad and that I wanted to discuss my concerns, but no one ever followed up. This was a frustrating experience, and unfortunately, it has made us reconsider staying here again. Hilton needs to seriously improve its service if they expect guests to return.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained, both in the room and throughout the facility. The front desk staff and restaurant service were attentive and efficient. The location is excellent—convenient for accessing Heavenly, the lake, and the main area with bars and restaurants, all just a few minutes away. One downside was the sales pitch for their time-shares, offered in exchange for free nights or other rewards. While I found it a bit inconvenient when I just wanted to settle into my room, the representative was polite and friendly. Parking is valet-only and costs around $28 per day. Although the wait for your car can take about 15 minutes, their texting system to request the car in advance is a helpful feature. Overall, this is a great option for a stay in Tahoe with convenient amenities and a prime location.

Check in time wad 4 pm. We arrived 15 min early and we were told our room was not ready and stearnly told that check in wasn't until 4 pm. They said they would text us when the room was ready. We wentback at 430 as no text received. They then got us in but made us listen to the time share guy. We had just got done hiking and had dinner reservations for 5 pm. Very stressful. Not likely to stay again.

Great location for skiing Heavenly, shuttle bus stop for California Lodge.

Great location, only 10 minute drive from Heavenly Valley and the Gondola. The bathroom and shower were very roomy. The kitchen would be useful to those staying an extended period of time. Parking is a mandatory $27 whether you valet or self park. Lots of restaurants close by and it’s only a 5 min walk from the lake. The bed was by far the worst we have ever slept in, it was a mattress on a frame NO BOX SPRING. Would I stay here again? Yes because of its location and the cost.

Great spot and convenient to restaurants, shopping and a small beach. Will look to stay here again if/when I go to Tahoe again! Also loved the “Welcome Home” greeting

Asked for bellhop was ignored, they said they look in it to it, but nothing happened and the restaurant doesn’t open till noon wasn’t very interesting. When they tell you, there’s options for restaurants.

This property is a waste of money; I recommend finding somewhere else to stay. They only offer valet parking, and you have to pay a resort fee per day, even if you're just staying overnight. According to the receptionist, the rooms are considered part of the resort. However, it doesn't really feel like a resort at all. They only have a gym and a pool, much like typical hotels. They seem to be using the term "resort" just to charge guests more money. The rooms are not even that nice for the price you pay. They do not provide free bottles of water—rather, we were told we could buy them at their restaurant. Wow! They also don’t offer breakfast, and their paid breakfast starts either at noon or 2 PM. It was a disappointing experience overall. I do not recommend this property at all! Save your money and look for a better value elsewhere.

Found out at check in that self parking wasn’t available even though site didn’t indicate only valet was available. Had a restaurant on site but wasn’t open for breakfast or lunch

The staff was very rude. Only One cafe/restaurant on the property which does not open till 2pm. Unable to purchase coffee or anything else on the property. One of the worst Beds I’ve slept in. Very noisy

Great stay! Clean. The pool and hot tub was relaxing. Our bartender was fabulous! The activity center for the kids was a surprise. A lot of eateries in walking distance. The lake and beach is also right there! Will definitely come back. Suggestion is to have the bar open for brunch :)

Hilton vacation club’s location is ideal for skiers. It’s close to Heavenly ski area and restaurants nearby. The facility was clean and well kept. Very friendly staff and adequate amenities. Our family enjoyed our meals at the Bear Moon restaurant on site. Highly recommend this place to families traveling with children!
