Extended Stay America Suites - Los Angeles - Torrance - Del Amo Circle

Stay was nothing to write home about. Very outdated and hallways had a lingering smell of pet urine and cigarette smoke. Our room was very dusty and dimly lit. There was only three lamps working out of 4 and the bathroom fan also did not work. Theres no ice machine at this hotel. the elevators are also very sketchy and sometimes take upwards of 2 minutes to let you out after it reaches desired floor. There is minimal channels on the tv with no options to sign in to secondary personal streaming platforms

Everything is so conviently located,nice a quiet, pet friendly, staff is exceptional, makes everyone feel at home,, thanks kevin,erica,martha,and janice!

Overall it was decent. The hallways smelled and the rooms smelled. The rooms need to be updated and need to be clean. The AC needs to be serviced as it took some time to cool the room. The area was nice, near the Del Amo Mall and many food/shopping areas. There was plenty of parking.

Talik, Janice, Iris, Nancy and Maria are very helpful and are accommodating. They were very professional and well trained by the management. I wish they would hurry and renovate the stairs, some seem to be a trip hazard. Rooms are clean and quiet. I like the easy parking.

Honestly, this was not a good room or a good location. Construction and fire trucks running all the time. Room had exposed sockets and wallpaper that was falling off and bubbling. No utensils or dishes in the kitchen means you can't have your own food. The staff was not bad, but not as good as possible. The keycards needed to be reset multiple times for no good reason. The bed and pillows were not comfortable at all. The trash room has no spaces for recycling if someone wishes to do so. The bathroom has no useful items really beyond towels, as the facial bar and body bar given are rather small. The Grab and Go breakfast was only coffee and pre-packaged muffins, some of which were not on the right date. I spent more money on my trip taking care of getting things needed to for the room than anything else. The laundry room was charging quite a bit for both washing and drying a load. Also, no laundry items in the laundry room? I have to bring my own soap? That's wild. Lastly, multiple times I smelled marijuana on my floor, in the same hallway as my room. I believe that should be against the no smoking policy. This was just not what Extended Stay advertises and shows how far the brand has fallen. People would be better off spending a little more for a real hotel experience.

Awful. Things in disrepair and not working - elevator, several outlets in kitchen. Basic things not available because hotel "didn't have enough" -- ie additional bedding, dishes, cookware etc. What is the point of having a kitchen if it is unusable? Overall didn't feel safe here either. Would have changed hotels, but since I was here for a conference and gone majority of the time I decided to tough it out.

24/7 laundry was so convenient.

Great staff and location. Housekeeping try their best to get you what you need. Parking is easy.

A couple items to mention was that coffee was never avaliable in mornings and it listed breakfast available as a feature. It was a mini muffin or a nutrigrain bar. I dont believe that should be considered breakfast. The laundry facilities cc was broken and no change was avaliable as well. Eventually the laundry app worked

clean property an safe all though I had to wait an hour past 300 pm for m,y room to be ready also they had no ice machine and when you travel an ice machine is a needed item. staff was very helpful and courteous

Property was great for location purposes and traveling around LA. Just be aware that the towels were dirty that were in our room. The counter space had stains. The hallways smelled like old dirty diapers. Safety concern was when we came back to our room the first night our door was open. When leaving the next morning I asked the lady who was doing house keeping if that was normal and she slammed it shut. I travel a lot and never had that happen. This hotel needs some upgrades.

Horrible odor and cleanliness.

This hotel is way outdated, the carpet in the hallway outside of my room was missing, possibly being replaced but no carpet in the hallway. The room was not clean, I found hair in the beds, hair in the bathroom, hair in the telephone in the room. This is an “Extended Stay” but they did not have nir could they provide any dishes or utensils.

Worst hotel my husband and I have EVER stayed in. The first room we were given the carpet was filthy and full of large stains and it smelled awful. Our next room had no carpet but the vinyl floor was sticky and dirty. Walls and cupboards were dirty. Bathroom shower drain was rusty and the grout was dirty. Dogs barked off and on all day. Large clumps of dog hair all over. This hotel should never be listed on Hotels.com. No shampoo or conditioner, no coffee pot. Don't even consider this hotel.

Hallway is very dark and has foul smell. Room is very old. Nees updating.

Terrible smell in the rooms and hallways. Smells like someone was smoking in and outside of the room. The hallway's had a terrible smell also, smelled like pets, smelled old, a smell of dirty sewer water and expired food thru-out the hotel. Not pleasant at all. Breakfast is hot water for coffee and a muffin or hot water for an oatmeal thats all.

Just found the cleanliness lacking. Floor didn’t seem to have been mopped in a month. I ended using a hand towel to mop it. It was black after and so were our socks. In general it was rundown, leaky faucet, rusty bathtub drain. Bed was very comfortable. Some remodel work was in progress.

This place was the absolute worst. Don't believe the positive reviews or the select photos they have. This place is so dirty. Literally mold growing in the shower everywhere. Like a lot of mold. Everything is broken or dirty. The towel hanger is falling off the wall. Carpets super dirty. Not safe. Homeless frequently are in the parking lot. We had one right by the side entrance appearing to be on drugs. The smell in here is disgusting too. Like must. There is a garbage room on the end of each hall that stinks bad. You have a fridge and stove but they give you no utensils or cooking items.

Rooms are old and require an upgrade. Didn’t feel comfortable in my room. I would probably not stay at this hotel going forward

The room looked shabby. It looked like nothing was done even if they claim it is "renovated".

Staff (Janice, Talic, Nancy, Iris, Una and Maria always very helpful and kind) are the familiar faces I see whenever I check in for business trips. Internet is fast, there's plenty of hot water and the kitchen with a full sized fridge is a big plus. I often ask for a later check out to finish more work on the computer and they have no problems and are generous giving me an extra hour.

The staff at check in were very helpful. The room was very spacious with hard wood flooring and kitchen.

Extended Stay is overall an OK place to stay, but I don’t think the chemical smells in the First floor rooms is healthy to breathe. It’s probably insecticides, which is a known carcinogen. Also, there was an extremely loud, repetitive valve banging sound behind my shower wall at 3am. Woke me up fairly rudely.

Everything went smoothly, the staff was great, the internet access was user friendly. The only minor gripe we have is there wasn't coffee available for us early birds 2 mornings. (there's a 3 hour time difference where we're from) It did appear later.

Our bad experience began the moment we stepped off the elevator and were hit with an odor of garbage which literally was in bags outside many room doors. Once in our room, unfortunately it didn’t improve. Rooms are very old and smell. They also tell you the room comes with free breakfast; what a joke. Some old looking pre-packaged muffins and tiny styrofoam cups for coffee! The staff, or one person in particular, was so rude both when I called the front desk and in person when I was checking out. She was standing at the counter and as soon as I started talking to her (Janis), she very rudely said I’m not supposed to be doing anything, I’m on my lunch. Umm, hello …. then don’t stand at the counter where a CUSTOMER just might need something

The check-in took 30 minutes the staff was not welcoming the property was very dirty and had a horrible smell the staff did not greet us upon our entrance or while assisting us with the check in process. The room was okay the floor was dirty. They were out of clean towels and in order to get them they asked that you bring the used towels in exchange which was extremely inconvenient. I definitely will not recommend nor will I return to this property.

Staff is the rudest staff of any hotel

I was checked in by Iris and she remembered that I stayed there before. Seems like the front desk staff is alert and tuned in to their roles. She is always courteous, friendly and helpful whenever she helps me. The stay was for four nights and when I had an extra roudy neighbor upstairs, Iris, Maria and Erika made sure I was taken care of by making sure I was satisfied with the new room they accommodated me. Overall the stay was a quiet and a comfortable one.

Staff was welcoming. Front desk called us to check how everything was and that did it for me. Sometimes a simple call makes the difference. Keep it up 👍

Clean and nice. Very convenient location. Staff is great -- Kevin, Erica, Janice, Telik, Bobby, and all the rest of the front dest, the cleaning girls--they all do a great job.

When I arrived at the property, there was only one staff & she was showing guests to another room because there was an issue with their initial room. I waited in the lobby with two other guests for 15 minutes. She did get me checked in quickly. Considering this property is located in Torrance, I assumed it would be nicer than others, but it was not. There was hair in the bathtub, and there was dog poop not only outside almost the entire property, but even inside the building. When I walked up/down the stairs, I had to watched where I stepped to avoid poop. As for the house keeping, we stayed there for 5 days, when we asked them for clean towels, they told us we'd have to go ask the front desk. We told them we would give them 2 towels if they would give us 2 clean ones. They reluctantly swapped out our towels. We will NOT stay here again. I would not recommend anyone stay here. There are better, cleaner hotels in the area.

The location of the property was pretty nice, there was a mall across the street and the convenience of common store such as Walmart, target, Marshalls Ross and common eateries nearby. The beach was 11 minutes away, (power, saving grace).

Off of main streets. New senior condos being built across street and next to fire station but quiet.

The property is maintained pretty well and its very close to restaurants and shopping. I appreciate that they offer fully functional kitchens and laundry on site.

What we liked most about this hotel was its location. Safe and within walking distance to the nearby mall. It was also reason oh priced. Room was a bit outdated, but other than that fulfilled its purpose.

Too old, no room for breakfast.

You get what you pay for. Please don't think you'll be getting breakfast. The staff was too busy to make sure there was enough coffee for guests. The muffins were chemical infused vacu-packed non edible health hazards. The rooms were ok, but worn. The price reflected the environment.

The hotel and room were fine. Nothing really special and I was only there for a quick overnight stay. However. I intentionally filtered my search to include breakfast. This one said they had breakfast. Please. There was a tiny little table with coffee, hot water, 10 packets of oatmeal and 10 little packaged muffins. That's it. No eggs, no fruit, no fresh bread, meats, or ANYthing else. THAT ISN'T BREAKFAST!! Please stop calling it breakfast. It is "continental breakfast" at best. Call it a coffee stand for crap's sake.

Positive notes is the Fact that it was clean and in a great location, not happy with the fact that they claim to have continental breakfast that was not so all they provided was coffee with some Nutrigrain bars. They do have Stove, microwave and refrigerator in the room but no utensils too use or hair blower. you need to ask for It from the front desk. Some of the Front desk staffers are not the friendliest staffers. Buy the way on Our last evening two different bugs appeared, a bug with wings and a roach. And on checking out which was at 5:30AM their was no staffer available, even though the night before I was told there is someone always there in the morning, good thing another staffer came by to check us out.

I had to unload my belongings without a cart and to take three trips to my car. The door was difficult to open. No instructions for that. The kitchenette is really dated and could use a refresh. The breakfast bar was a joke
