The hotel is not as new as the picture shows but the room is nice, clean and roomy. This is the first time I am seeing the office is located at the second floor and there is no sign that guides the customer to the office :-( it would be nice if they can provide a bigger tv and more power outlets.

The lobby check in to the hotel was not convenient. It is on the second floor halfway down the outside hall. Note just stated that it was on the second floor...had to figure out how to get there... It was unclear one had to use the adjacent stair to reach the second floor. Door not marked. Happened upon the unlatched stair door that lead to second floor. Better directions are needed. Once in the room, the smoke alarm was beeping. Called office only to be told no one was available to remedy. Since it was 10:00 pm, office staff suggested leaving premises since no other room was available. Not a good response. Terrible experience.

The room was clean, but is old and showing lots of wear. They are working on repairing the outside hallways. The lobby is not on the main floor. You need to take an elevator up to the second floor to get to the lobby. Check in was quick. Could hear people making out at night, fighting. Vending machine took our money then would not dispense anything. You had to call the company re this. Breakfast was average. Only hot item was make your own waffles. We would definitely not stay here again.

Good in general. However, in the 3 days we stayed the elevator (the only elevator) broke 3-4 times. My mother has bad knees and she had to climb to the third floor twice. Breakfast needs breakfast lol. Not limited options but rather no options

The building is not as new as the picture. We would suggest it provides direction to the office located at the second floor. The room is roomy and comfortable. It would be nice if they offer a bigger tv. It offers simple breakfast, coffee and juice. The eating area is clean and roomy. When booking it, it says no onsite parking, which is misleading.

The rooms need to be updated. I was in room 307 and the curtains were ripped and need to be replaced. As you walk to your room from the elevator, there was duck tape, holding carpet together, a very tacky look. I had a king size bed in my room and it would’ve been nice to have a nice chair to sit in, furniture just needs to be updated.

The desk staff is awful - rude, dismissive, obstinate - especially the young woman with the huge fake eyelashes that were falling off. She was very rude to everyone. The first room (205) I was assigned had a soaking wet rug and a fan blowing on it (to dry it). The desk staff (eyelashes) resisted moving me. The cleaning staff eventually convinced the desk staff that I should be assigned another room (206). Room 206 has peeling, mold falling off of the ceiling (over the bed). The shower faucet is broken, to the degree that adjusting temperature takes skill, determination, and patience. No soap was provided in the shower, only shampoo/conditioner mounted in a pump container on the wall. Everything considered, I still would have moved on without commenting, had it not been for “Eyelashes” (front desk day staff) awful attitude and rudeness (mostly towards others) both ahead of me and behind me.

Desk staff less than friendly. We checked in at midnight, and staff was not welcoming….gave us no information regarding the hotel, neither verbal nor printed. Two days later, we left towels and washcloths on floor expecting floor staff to replace. When they didn’t, we called the evening desk staff to ask for towels and washcloths. Quite curtly, she said: “Did you call for some???”. We told her we didn’t know we had to call. She then said that housekeeping takes care of that, and they wouldn’t be in until 9:00am the next day. That was it! Later we found a small faded notice at the bottom left of the bathroom mirror regarding linens being changed every 3 days unless guest requests them.

The Staff were very nice, helpful and courteous. Coffee and pastries for breakfast was simple but good and filling. Location is great walking distance to the mall and restaurants. However, the place is kind of old and maybe needs better lighting ,new linen and carpet and renovation.

Stayed here for an event nearby with my husband and daughter. Area seems safe and relatively quiet, there is a medical center nearby but we only heard one night time ambulance all weekend. Most of the rooms have some degree of sound barrier from the street. Hotel was clean, in halls and in rooms. The fabric on the desk chair in the room was worn and torn, but not important to me. Beds were comfortable, that is important to me. Whole family slept comfortably and without worry all weekend. Check in and check out were simple and painless. Overall, if in the area again, I would stay here again.

Great location - walking distance to Del Amo mall with good restaurants. Rooms are large, very clean and beds comfortable. WiFi is fast enough to stream Netflix and for a budget hotel, breakfast was ok. Note the elevator to the office is in the middle of the parking area, not the building’s front.

The young lady who checked me in was great and room was good. My major disappointment is the misleading info about breakfast. I chose this place because they included breakfast. So I wake up ready to have a nice meal. And to my disappointment all I saw were old looking oranges coffee machine and stale looking bagels. Very misleading. So don’t assume that you will have bacon and eggs.

Staff friendly as always. Rooms are comfortable with refrigerator and microwave. But breakfast has become a disappointment! I was looking forward to my hot waffles which is not longer offered. Neither are the usual yogurts, and hard boiled eggs. What Happened?? Breakfast now consist of toast or bagels, drinks and maybe instant oatmeal!! How sad! Secondly, tv system/guide is very confusing. Channel selection difficult to figure out. Lastly, checkout was 12pm and now changed to 11am. I used to like staying at HOJOs before taking an afternoon flight out of LAX. Now we need to leave earlier.
