After a long day of volunteering outside, we wanted to swim in the pool. But it was closed at dark. No signage about closing time. We would have chosen another hotel if we had known that. And… someone else’s food was left in our fridge. And we all left with bites/bumps around our ankles.

My room was in great condition and seemed like it was renovated recently. The bathroom was spacious and I liked the walk-in shower. Finding a parking space late at night was an issue because the hotel was occupied to capacity and there was also a truck taking multiple spaces.

We only stayed for 1 night. The property was nice and clean. The guest service rep was polite and friendly. The only issue was that the pool was "broken" and they couldn't send someone to fix it. It would have been nice to go swimming, as it was in the 80s that day.

Everything was orderly but weird smellin hallway. Worse in room. Tried to spray cologne but made it worse. Smelled stale, musty, like dried sweat. Im thankful i didn't have to spend much time in the room. At breakfast, the coffee was good. Its okay for a short unexpected stay though. Not impressed, especially for the price. Staff were nice and helpful.

It work is more than 20 minutes to check in. The person at the front desk was extremely rude to the point I had to ask him to calm down. The lobby was busy at the time I checked it and he might have been under a lot of stress, but there’s no excuse for uncalled rudeness when you work in customer service. Once we got to our room, we had to wipe down most of the surfaces as there were spots covered in some sort of goo. The toilet was dirty (had old urine spots I had to wipe off) and there were a bunch of long hairs in the shower.

The rooms were clean. The staff friendly. However the hotel itself is very budget oriented. Looks like a fairly recent remodel and everything is done with the least expensive amenities that you could have. We reserved three rooms next to each other. We have requested them to clean the room. Even went to the front desk for request. No one cleaned the room during our three night stay

The room was big, for some reason there were two microwaves, and the staff were warm and welcoming. My room in particular had mold in the bathroom shower in between the wall and the floor. Service was great though

Loud ac had to be turned off so you could sleep. Room became too warm so you had to turn the ax back on go 1/2 hour and then turn it off To go to go back to sleep. People wer friendly especially sign in at 10:30

This property was fantastic for a weekend getaway. When I walked in the door to check in I was meet by a lovely lady and gentleman they were both very welcoming. The check in process was smooth. As I looked around at the lobby and the eating area and the bar it was all very clean. When the hubby and I entered our room we were amazed at the size of the room the floor to ceiling windows allowed a good amount of natural light to come into the room and they also allowed a good view of your surroundings. The room was super clean the bathroom was super clean and omg the bed slept really good. I also loved the fact that when you walked into the room your name was displayed on the tv.That made me feel like I was at a really expensive hotel or resort without paying the high price. The breakfast buffet was good and plentiful. The one lady working that area made sure items were replenished and the area was clean. She also made sure the dinning area was wiped down as soon as someone got up to leave so someone else could have a nice clean spot. The only bad thing I have to say about this hotel is my stay was to short. I wish I could have stayed a little longer to relax.

upon arrival Megan was occupied with a difficult sounding situation/client. She was unfrazzoled, offered us water and apologized for our wait ( which did not end up being long). She was quick to check us in and our room was great!

The staff was very unfriendly, with the exception of one clerk who checked us in, no one else spoke or greeted us coming in or going out. One guy just stood there behind the desk when we came in late night like a zombie. No greetings or acknowledgement at all. Same with lady the next morning as we were leaving out at front desk. I stopped to get water right where she was standing...never said a word. No Hi, GM, did you have a good night. have a great day...nothing. Just walked away like she never saw us. I am a regular and the lack of hospitality during this visit and the lack luster breakfast has ended that for me. I will not be coming back to this location.

My recent stay at Hampton Inn Wilmington-Medical Park was excellent. The two ladies who checked me in, Rikki and Megan, made me feel I was a valued customer and were very helpful and friendly, The room was clean, the water pressure in the shower was excellent and all of the staff I encounter were very friendly. I will diffently stay there again on my return visit.

We love this hotel. Especially. Because we come from out of town for medical appts. The location for that purpose is excellent and also easy to get downtown or anywhere in Wilmington. The front desk clerk yesterday afternoon at check in, was such a great guy!! All smiles, so friendly and helpful!! Couldn’t ask for more. We will be staying here again and again in the future.

We have stayed at the property in the past and enjoy the ease of getting to and from the hotel. The medical area of Wilmington is quiet and safe. The only discomforts were upon arrival the sofa bed was still out as we entered the room and there was a damp smell in the air. We also ran out of tissue and it was not replaced during room service. The breakfast selections of different flavored waffles were a hit and the addition of turkey sausage was a major plus for those of us who do not eat pork. We plan to stay at the hotel on our next visit to the area.

My husband had surgery and this hotel was so convenient to hospital. There was a snow storm during our time there. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this property especially for those who have to be near the hospital.

This was a clean hotel with all good accomodations. We enjoyed the pool, and all the staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. My only complaint was the poorly stocked, breakfast buffet. We went to eat at 9:30 am and there was nothing to eat. I realize the buffet closes at 10:00am, but I was really surprised at how bad the few choices were.
