The room I was assigned had a dozen or more gnats and a very unpleasant set of odors. One that smelled like moldy towels and the other a very strong fragrant perhaps trying to mask that. I could never determine where either was coming from. At check-in the attendant was extremely unpleasant and really seemed to hate her job. I had selected this motel because it had a hot tub and pool. Pool water seemed to have a green tinge and the hot tub was not working at all. Apparently some parts had failed since I had made it my reservation. The outdoor trash cans which were very large had not been emptied and were overflowing. On the upside the rooms were generally clean and the breakfast was better than I was expecting with eggs bacon green chili, fresh fruit and other more carb heavy choices.

It was ok. My only complaint was the pool was kind of gross looking with brownish steps. The room was clean and had the best black out curtains. The room was a tad loud at night with walking above us but we turned on the fan and it was gone. Breakfast foods were really good and dining area was clean.

There were several things wrong. The main thing that always tops the list of “unacceptable“ for me is mold in the shower. That is a huge turn-off. Other things that were wrong was the toilet that sounded like a cat fight and ran all night along with the tub faucet. The tv was impossible to figure out. On the positive side, the HVAC unit worked well and was quiet.

We stay in the new side last month. It was fine after we bought an air mattress and sleep pad for the second night at Walmart. The 1st night was horrible! Beds were very hard and uncomfortable, couldn’t sleep. This time we were put in the old building. Walls and bedding were very dirty. I sprayed the wall with Lysol and bedding was changed. Thought we were good for the night until I saw the big gap in the door. I could see out into the hallway, even from the bathroom. The door could easily be unlocked and we didn’t feel safe in the room. They would not fix it, saying it’s been like that for a long time. The lady at the front desk said that she would get us a refund and move us in the morning. We thought we could endure for one night. It was late, we didn’t have anywhere else to go, and we were exhausted from traveling all day. I could not sleep at all, even being exhausted. She denied saying that the next morning and would not move us or refund us, not even a discount for all the trouble. That’s how they pacify you for the night to keep you there. Don’t recommend this place and will never stay again!

The small refrigerator in the room was leaking water and the floor was not clean. We had to ask the front desk for soap for the bathroom. It was quiet and a good location for what we needed. We were able to park our pickup and cargo trailer easily on the property.

Hotel was ok. Older, but could tell they were trying to maintain it. Do not get a ground level room!! Could hear all footsteps from room above....like a herd of elephants late into the night and super early in the morning. Worst sleep ever.

One night day was great. Comfortable bed, nice spacious room. I like the sink outside of the rest of the bathroom and they let me have a little later checkout very quiet I cannot even hear housekeeping vacuums in the morning!

The mattress on the bed was so hard I couldn’t sleep. The mattress on the pull out couch was 2-3 inches thick. It was more uncomfortable than the usual pull out couch. It was very shaky and wobbly. It was so bad that we went to Walmart the next day and bought an air mattress and sleep pad.

It was convenient, and large enough. But there really wasn't anything I would call "suite" about our room. Refrigerator was without freezer, and just a small microwave. Bathroom sink was outside the bathroom and the only sink in the room. Bed was comfortable, but windows are thin, so parking lot and nearby road noise is pretty loud. Staff was friendly. It was good to be here for going to Great Sand Dunes NP for a day. Easy drive there and back. Friendly people in the town, too.

Manager was extremely rude and put the blame on another coworker (who did everything right) to cover for someone who did not properly ask for the ID of someone who got our hotel keys for the room I paid for instead. The manager shhh'd me multiple times for explaining what happened and still was not understanding. We got down graded from a suite to a regular room since the other people were already in the room and there were no other suites available. Avoid at all costs

Very rude employee changed my reservation from king to 2 queens which is too small of a bed didn't sleep well at all. Also parking is a nightmare no parking asked if I could park at the reserved for rewards holders no I can't park there I have to park in the sand & gravel pit but hotel is not responsible if something happens to my vehicle. Not good customer service should have received a call telling me about the changes they made without being told if it was ok just assuming it is ok well it wasn't absolutely no apology for the inconvenience I would not have stayed there if a king was not available. I was told our website is not working properly that's not my fault could have tried to accommodate with another hotel under same company but not professional at all. I couldn't believe I will never stay at this location if it's the last place available in an emergency I'd rather sleep in my vehicle. Obviously room wasn't clean right walking in my socks popcorn kernel on the carpet sand or dirt in the tub either from the water or from it not being cleaned right. I can't even imagine what else was wrong that I didn't notice. Very very limited handicap parking & about 7+ more for rewards holder which

This hotel has an unusually late check-in time at 4:00. We had booked two rooms. One of our rooms was not ready for us until 4:40 which normally would not have been a big deal except that we were in town for a funeral and had somewhere to be. I had to go through the check-in process twice. Their system seemed a bit antiquated and took longer than most hotels for check-in. You had to watch a video to access free Wi-Fi which would boot you off the system and make you watch the video several times a day to be able to connect to Wi-Fi again. It was frustrating and a bit confusing. Hotel breakfasts are pretty basic at most hotels, but this was inedible. The eggs were undercooked, the sausage was overcooked. There was only one waffle maker with a very long line, not enough seating, We opted to stop at a gas station for snacks on the way to the funeral. We will not be staying at this hotel again.

The hotel is good at the price point. Clean. Nice breakfast included. Rooms clean. All sufficient. Not walkable to any restaurants, but drivable in 5-10 minutes. I’d have no problem staying here again.

It was a pretty decent stay at this place. Stayed for couple of nights with family. The only big town near the great sand dunes national park. The room was spacious enough and equipped with fridge and microwave. They had a city wide planned power outage on one of nights for 5 hours .But, was able to still sleep in since the weather was not too hot at night. Breakfast was okay. Closer to the street so can get louder at times. But, overall had a good stay. Surely recommend this place.

Very nice Motor Hotel, Feels new, without the typical smells, rickety feel, loose plumbing, ‘out-of-order’things, delaminated features, etc. in so many rural/small city facilities. Note they have a nice buffet at breakfast, but you will need to drive for restaurants or a bar.

The breakfast was okay. The eggs have a strange mushy texture but I still ate it. They had green chile one day which was pretty decent. No decaf coffee though ( that part of the machine was broken.
