We were originally booked into the neighboring Holiday Inn Express, but their pool was under repair and they allowed us to cancel our prepaid reservation. Hampton Inn had a room at a decent rate and the pool and hot tub were available. Room was large, beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, and quiet. The breakfast was the standard eggs, potatoes, and sausage. Very nice overall and would stay there again.

A clean hotel with comfortable beds perfect for an overnight stay. The staff were polite and friendly. There was a wide variety of breakfast options available. The hotel was located at the end of the city (traveling from Great Sand Dunes), making it quiet and peaceful. Although it had an EV charging station, it didn't work, which was a little disappointing.

Our family enjoyed our stay here. We just stayed for one night and the staff was very helpful to us. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and they really enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The room we stayed in worked well as we had takeout and the central desk area worked well as a table for us. This was a good place to stay on our way to the sand dunes.

The room I booked with Expedia (king bed) was not honored… the desk attendant stated there was nothing he could do since I booked 3rd party. He didn’t seem to care to honor their completely satisfied policy. The pool and hot tub were very dirty and slimy and had a bad odor. The room was fairly comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. We would probably find a different hotel next time and not book with Expedia since we found out their bookings are only “requests” and the hotel does not have to honor this. I will book directly with the hotel next time and avoid Expedia.

The common areas and our room felt like brand-new, like no one had every used them before. Housekeeping is on the ball! I liked that you offer complimentary EV charging...however the charger didn't work. Luckily I was driving a hybrid and could use the gas engine. Loved looking out our room window and seeing the Sangre de Christo mountains!

Window seals were busted in both windows in our studio room, could barely see out as all the fog and water stuck between the panes made any view impossible to see. Plus, I took photos of the black mold around the lower window frames... room was definitely in poor condition.

The Hampden Inn will always be our go to place whenever we go to Alamosa. We wish all hotel rooms were configured that way, spacious & comfortable. It worked out well for a family of 4. 2 queens and one pullout with a credenza separating the beds providing more privacy for all. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Location was good for me with access on and off 160. The best part of the stay was the breakfast. My room was on the 1st floor right next to the door for the pool as well as the exit door with stairs going up to the above floors.. Bad Mistake with the constant noise of doors opening and closing and folks going up the stairs… never again would I take a room on the 1st floor..

The hotel is nice, breakfast has great options. Booked 2 “Queen size beds”………the beds are “Full size beds” which is NOT COMFORTABLE for 2 adults to share. On the plus side the hotel is in walking distance to Chili’s, Wendy’s, Wal-Mart and a 6 plex Movie Theater.

Everything about room 201 and the hotel were great except one thing--the king-sized mattress sagged. Please replace it. It's hard to get a good night's sleep when the mattress is not flat.

I used to work for a general contractor that built many limited-service hotels such as this one and I can tell that the structure is wood framed instead of concrete. This means that a lot of noise from the room above is easily transmitted through the ceiling which can be very annoying.

WiFi is not available, while we were told they are working on upgrading, the only option during our stay was to either hard wire in from our room, which none of my devices have that as an option, or use their computer in the business center. The front desk staff tried to help, but we couldn’t connect our entire stay.

Hotel rooms are not cleaned daily. I had to request it on our 3rd day but that just turned out to be them taking the trash and replenishing towels. We had to request for toilet paper that was not replenished and room had a stench.

This might have been one of the cleanest Hampton Inns I've ever stayed at. Staff was friendly and happy to give recommendations on what to do in the area. Overall felt safe. Breakfast was hot and fresh. 24 Hour coffee and tea bar is excellent. Zero complaints!

I did not like that I messaged the hotel to ask for a room on the first floor days before my arrival and I did not receive a reply I am still waiting for that reply. Person at the front desk was rude when I checked in I asked for a room in the first floor and he said he couldn’t accommodate since my reservation was done through Expedia. I will think twice about staying here again .

First, the staff was amazing. Breakfast was good and the woman working was friendly and very nice! Two things that were not cool. Number one, we checked in and were told the cable was out and being worked on. It never once came back on for our stay. We were told if we wanted any credit on the bill, we were to contact corporate by the man checking us out. Absolutely terrible to say to anyone paying 230 dollars a night!!!!! Secondly, the constant walking of the people above me was intolerable. I doubt I’d ever stay at this place again. Mostly because of the “call corporate for a complaint” line we were given. Shame on you.

We were very comfortable and appreciated the cleanliness of our room. It was convenient to get to Monte Vista Wildlife Refuge to see the Sandhill Cranes and to Great Sand Dunes National Park. The breakfast buffet was above average. Highly recommend and will stay here again when I visit this area.

Did a 4 day weekend road trip in Colorado. This was our last stop. Been to this tiny, quiet town before and had low expectations. HOWEVER, we were pleasantly surprised. It was the best of our 3 hotels. Granted, it was also the newest. It had the best bed, largest room, only one with a pool and least expensive. Great place to stay. About a 40 minute drive to Great Sand Dunes National Park.

The inn is away from downtown Alamosa in an area with a few other hotels. It is fine although nothing special. Our room was clean however, the hallway outside of our room had small bits of litter all over and needed a very thorough vacuuming. The gym looked good although we didn't use it. The breakfast was meh, and we ended up eating blueberries and the cereal we brought in our room.
