Værelset var ikke for lækkert, det stank af pis ,det var ikke til at holde ud , så vi fik et andet værelse, men værelser er gamle og slidte , poolen var grumset , så de puttede en masse kemikalier i og så havde vi ikke lyst til at bruge poolen

I booked the room for the pool, when checking in I find out it was closed this past week. It should have been stated on the website. The room smelled like mildew, the fridge did not work. I am on medication that needs to be keep cold. Just and over all disappointing experience.

Motel sans prétention servant d'étape entre Mesa Verde et Monument Valley. Piscine ok. Le spa était fonctionnel mais avec une hygiène douteuse. Bien placé cependant à Cortez qui offre plus que l'accés à Mesa Verde avec la proximité du magnifique et méconnu parc de Canyon of the Ancients

Room was Small, adequate for one night. Tile in shower appeared to have mold on it. Plug-ins inconvenient for medical equipment needs. Refrigerator was unplugged when we arrived.

If your looking for cheap, clean and convenient this is your place! But coffee was cold and just dry cereal for breakfast, but the air conditioner worked and Direct TV was on!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for Memorial weekend. The only thing that was found clean/good condition was the sheets and towels. The room was nothing like the pictures, the carpet was super dirty. Stains everywhere. We didn't dare to walk on it barefoot and the condition of the bathroom is no the best. We we're very disappointed at the condition of the hotel in general. The jacuzzi room is very dirty and also the chairs by the pool are so worn out that fabric is falling a part. Will no stay at this hotel again.

For the price what can you expect? Definitely old property and privately owned. The room seemed decently clean, just super small and the AC sounds like it might explode. Breakfast is as expected, cereal and toast. The hot and pool is nice though. Weird thing is the bathroom had a rug. Yuck! Never seen that before. Gives off the vibe that you might get shanked in your bed one night.

Staff were very friendly on arrival. Informal and relaxed with some good conversation! I'm not from the USA and the owner here was a great ambassador to Colarado. Room was cozy (no pun intended) with very comfortable beds and all the facilities you could ever need. The place was clean and presentable, no faults as far as I could see. 10/10 would stay again!

I checked in gave my cc got room key checked out the room. Left and went hacking got back and the cozy Cortez have given my room to someone else’s. Long weekend NO other rooms in Cortez or Durango. I have to drive home wasting All day Sunday and Monday of my long weekend. Trashed my Sunday because I got home at 4am

The owner was very personable and had a lot of knowledge about the local history between the Ute tribe and the peoples at Mesa Verde. He was very kind and very willing to help with directions for food what to see etc.

I was a bit disappointed with the Cortez Cozy Inn. 1) the swing bar door lock had been ripped off the door frame and was gone 2) multiple electrical outlets were so worn out that devices plugged into them would fall out due to the weight of the power cord 3) free breakfast was supposed to start at 6:00. At 7:05 the breakfast area was dark and locked up. I assume the person responsible for setting out breakfast did not show for work. Overall a decent budget hotel that appeared to need some maintenance and had some staffing problems.

I asked for late checkout and was told that I could check out at 11:30, vs the standard 11:00 checkout. I went out on an early hike, packed and cleaned up my room. When I returned to take a shower @ 9:30am, I was disturbed in the middle of the shower by the front desk staff stating that I needed to leave. They stated that they had already checked me out as there was no personal belongings in the room (keep in mind that my room key still worked when I returned to take a shower). I would not recommend staying at this motel.

You get what you pay for. It wa $86 per night. Hot tub was absolutely polluted. The breakfast was just bagged donuts and cold cereal. Three of us to get checked in, waiting for someone to arrive at the desk. Lots of permanent residents that spend all day smoking in the common area. TV didn’t work. Outlets didn’t work. Just nasty all around. Bed was good. Room was clean.

Very convenient and pleasant. Continental breakfast was much better than post-Covid brown bag at Days Inn in Surprise, AZ.
