Room smelled a bit. Breakfast was ok for price, but is definstly not stellar. A bit dreary, but got the job done.

When I pulled up to the hotel I thought there had been a mistake. I didn't feel like this was a hotel that could earn a 8.6 star review. I was tired when I arrived and told the staff that this was not what I was expecting. It looked like a motel from the 1960s. Half the rooms opened directly onto the sidewalk, not an inside hallway. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I decided to at least see the room before I left. My room was in the 2 story section and did open inside. The room was indeed a 2 star hotel quality but was clean and comfortable. I was only in the room for 5 minutes when the front desk called me and I asked if everything was ok. I was impressed that the staff was concerned with my satisfaction. I also liked that the hotel was well located within the town. Close to most restaurants and shopping. I kept the room and had a pleasant overnight stay. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a basic, clean hotel room for the night.

Pam, the woman that checked us in was the sweetest. It was great to see such a smiling face after Really Long Day of driving. We had two rooms and three dogs. She made sure our rooms were all the way at the end and next to each other. That made everything easier for us. She even called to see if we needed anything after we got checked in. She had little packets of cookies for our dogs and told us where there was a good park, right around the corner, to walk them. The room was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. I liked that it had laminate floors. There were no pet odors at all. We had a vehicle and a giant u-haul pulling a trailer. We had no trouble parking and the area seemed safe. We had no problems. The lady that did breakfast on Sunday was atrocious. My husband said good morning to her and she just snarled and grunted. There was a construction worker that had been staying there and told him she was there last week too and treated them all the same way. The breakfast was almost cold and she didn’t even put out the waffle mix. It’s a shame to have a dark cloud in an otherwise really great environment. The area was really nice. There were plenty of food options and the park we walked to was lovely. We chose the place because it allowed dogs. We would stay there again even if the dogs weren’t traveling with us. Thank you Pam for starting our trip off in such a lovely way.

To check in I had hard time, I had to do it outside the front desk in a small room through a camera, I couldn’t hear the lady who was doing my check-in. her voice was very low. The stuff didn’t look too happy to help at the breakfast area. The carpet at the entrance at the second floor was too dirty.
