Courtyard by Marriott Denver Downtown

Very nice, from the lobby to my room. Excellent staff. My only complaint is that the business center was hit and miss. Great coffee shop in the building. Also a very good Mexican restaurant in the building. Right across the street from Rock Bottom Brewery, which is a great sports bar and good food options.

Staff was extremely accommodating and nice. Workout facilities were excellent, as was parking.

Parking is NOT OK. There are not enough parking spots for this hotel. There is so much construction around the hotel getting to it was a challenge. Had to park off site. Still charged for parking.

Convenient location and very nice. I think $44 for one night's parking for hotel guests is a bit steep. When we arrived, there was only 1 spot left in their small parking area that we were lucky to get. Otherwise a confortable stay.

We stayed on the second floor and the floor had a weird smell like mold. There is limited parking for $45 a night. The room was clean but had a weird smell.

As a whole the stay ways great. The only thing that I didn't like was the parking. I know being right down town it was going to be tight, that saying the spot could have been wider and the cost lease.

A nice stay in downtown Denver. Only downside is the construction happening around the property and the limited on-site parking.

Nice place to stay. Had to use a parking garage for our car but the cost was reimbursed by the hotel. Several good restaurants within a short walking distance. Hotel staff were helpful in answering any questions. Would recommend.

I expect a certain something from Marriott, disappointing that there was very limited parking at the property(44 per day, first come first serve) and no shuttle service from the airport.

The room was amazing and extremely clean. Front desk clerk, Luis was the best!!! So friendly and accommodating.

Even though the room was a little dated, it was mostly clean. The beds were okay. However, there were many people causing disruptions outside the hotel, mostly harmless homeless individuals. The location is fantastic, I would stay again.

Mold in the shower. Sofa had black spots, mattress and bedding was wet when we came in.

Very clean hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times from front desk to security. The housekeeping did knock on both of our doors at 8 am to let us know check out is at 12 pm. Which was odd. Parking was easy. I used the 24-7 market which was very convenient. Overall great stay.

The room had a strong scent of air freshener which made me think it was hiding a smell. We stayed 3 nights as the air fresher fade I got a hint of urine smell. Assuming that was what they were trying to hide.

The one day we even talked to the housekeeper and she said she would be right over and never went to clean. We went with friends and we were out of our room ahead of them and they always had a clean room to come back too. We did call down and the usually zero cares were given, but they did bring up clean towels. Location was great central for downtown easy walk or bus ride to and from Union Station.

We stayed with a couple of our friends in 2 separate rooms. Our AC was not working but they eventually fixed it( AC according to engineer had holes that needed patched with duct tape. I am dead serious) . I set the temp to 69 but it never went below 71. Our friends also had problems with their AC being noisy and weak as well. So a bit old and needs renovations. Also it was around 380$ a night. Not cheap for an older hotel.

Got the room due to the location to Coors Field. Easy walk. Room was decent, darkened curtains were torn, should be replaced

Very spacious room and great staff. When we asked for towels, we got them right away. Rooms are spacious. Great location on 16th street mall. Nicely decorated 1st floor with lots of meeting space. Problems are dim lighting in bathrooms, small issues with maintenance and housekeeping, wish they served breakfast, parking is expensive, and mattresses are so-so.

Wonderful staff. Beautiful place. Great location. I will offer one bit of constructive criticism for all Marriot Bonvoys: Get better WiFi. Uploads take forever which stinks on a business trip and trying to watch Netflix, as provided on the in-room TV, was impossible due to buffering and poor WiFi speed. Let’s get into the 2020s. WiFi is vital.

Great helpful staff, clean rooms. Convenient to theatres and dining. Wifi is weak. A bit noisy -from H-VAC system? Elevator motor? I miss the free coffee in the lobby. And someday Marriott will upgrade their TP!

I stayed here for access to the Colorado Convention Center and it was a great location. The staff were excellent, everyone I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The property is older but the room was pretty comfortable and very clean, and the lobby area was up to date. I was disappointed that there wasn't a proper fridge, only a drink cooler fridge that could only be run for a couple hours at a time. My room was also near the elevator, and it was noisy, as was the air conditioning. But overall it was an enjoyable stay.

Stayed 4 nights visiting Denver for an avalanche game. 20 minute walk to ball arena. It was nice to be downtown. Bummer that there was so much construction happening in the area. On site parking was pretty pricy but there is a parking garage right across the street for cheaper. The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to accommodate. I booked a standard Kong that ended up being a courtyard facing room (no exterior windows). It made me feel really claustrophobic. The staff was able to move us to an exterior facing room, but with queen beds. The room was nice. I wish the lighting in the bathroom area was better. It was super hard to do makeup. The bed wasn’t very comfortable - kinda old and bumpy. I expected better for a Marriott. The Mexican restaurant attached was not great. The food wasn’t bad but the service was horrible and the drinks made so weak I’m not sure there was actually alcohol in them. I wouldn’t recommend eating there, especially with so many food options nearby. We enjoyed the pizza place along the corner and Sam’s #3 has excellent breakfast and really good mimosa! Overall it was a good stay mostly because of the staff and location. I like that key cards are required to enter the building from the street.

Good hotel and a very good location to walk about and enjoy downtown Denver. (spend the $15 dollars and go in the clock tower!) Room was mostly clean. Bars and tons of food options are nearby. Nightly parking was priced a bit high at $44 a night. No hot tub or pool amenities. The room we were given was next to the elevator and gave the sense of a light train passing nearby.

Overall had a very nice stay, walkable distance to a lot of dining and shops in the heart of downtown, also close distance to arena and stadium for sporting events. Only downside was our room was often not cleaned unless we requested at the front that they come to clean it, staff would be on our floor but skip our room entirely. Hotel front desk staff very friendly and helpful though.

The staff at the hotel was simply amazing! This is the best customer service I have ever received at a hotel in the US - and I have been to many hotels. They were very helpful on the phone and by email. I am an observant Jew and needed a lot of help around Shabbat. They allowed me to light candles, unlocked the room, kept my valuables safe, and came to help me with anything I needed. It was a special experience. I am grateful to the front desk staff and especially Casey and the other amazing employees there - sorry I didn't write down their names. They deserve every award possible!

Outstanding stay! Excellent customer service…they allowed our group to check in early and provided us with the rollaway beds we requested promptly. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Highly recommend staying here if you plan to visit downtown Denver!

The staff was fantastic!! We had a flight that arrived at 9:30 am. Luis at the front desk was able to get us checked in early and gave us a FANTASTIC room!

This property is located in the heart of the 16th Street Mall in downtown Denver. Easy wallking to Coor's Field and many resturants and coffee shops are close by. The mall is under reconstruction, but it didn't negatively affect our stay.

Very centrally located, easy walking area on 16th Mall to Union Station, then in opposite direction to Cultural and government centers. The staff was excellent and friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurants in the area too.

We stayed in November 2024 and the Christmas decorations in the area were so pretty especially at night. The hotel is in located on a street that has limited shopping and restaurants in my opinion. The area is extremely walkable - but we found it difficult sometimes due to the heavy construction that was going on around the hotel at the time. It was not noisy so sleep was not interrupted. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We were able to store our luggage and explore the city until our room was ready. There is a shuttle that runs up and down the street in front of the hotel so if you are tired of walking, you can hop on the shuttle which is free. You can also take the shuttle for closer proximity to the train station to explore other areas of Denver or get to the airport. Do not skip the small bookstore or coffee shop in the train station. It is worth the stop. Enjoy your stay.

It was very clean. However, the room was small and there were few amenities. We had to park down the street and then it was difficult getting back inside the parking garage. Staff was not pleasant or helpful at the hotel. The homeless population was right outside the hotel sidewalks and left garbage everywhere.

Great service and friendly staff. 16th St under construction so activities were at a minimum but plenty of shopping and dining nearby within a safe, walkable distance.

We LOVED staying at the Courtyard. The room was spacious, comfortable and super clean. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The bakery next door is a a huge bonus!

Friendly service and fine rooms, but the breakfast was poor: it was described a s buffet but it consisted of packaged muffins, coffee and yogurt that ran out The hot food tray (empanadas)was empty on both days.

The staff is amazing! But they should not saying compliment empanadas breakfast! Every day is the same with Only a few cold-not appealing fruit cake in a plastic packaging, few yogurts, 1 pot regular coffee, never a decaf, few tea bags, few whole oranges w/ plastic knife. We stayed for 4 nights but saw only 2 veggies empanadas in a paper nags. We didn’t even wanted to try. And the hotel wasn’t that busy! Please eliminate that offer! Or do it better .

Excellent location. Restaurant and bakery located in the hotel. Small parking lot. Housekeeping missed our room one day but the front desk offered to send them to the room at 7:30 PM but we declined. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly.

This is a fine location downtown. The rooms (we had two) were small but well-furnished, with good toiletries and a nice coffee setup. We had two complaints about this place, and both would be easy to fix. There used to be a Starbucks on site, but it closed and the hotel offers a small self-serve coffee kiosk with fruit bread and yogurt in the mornings until 9am. 9am is a bit early to pull everything for some, which I think is cheap (10am is much better), but the real problem is that the coffee disappears at 9:00. We watched the woman who maintained the kiosk/counter caraway a FULL coffee dispenser at 9:00am. Seriously. Something that HEAVILY heavily affects how I choose a hotel for business is the public spaces. I want to be able to work, particularly in cold weather, in an open space in my hotel And part of what many business travelers need is simple, inexpensive access to coffee and water. We don't need a restaurant, but a small all-day coffee kiosk is something many hotels provide. It's very, very inexpensive and easy to maintain. It costs *maybe* $10/day in coffee (the single-pot packs we buy for our office cost $0.60 each), and the front desk person frequently had time for this. It is a HUGE difference between a hotel I want to stay in for business and a hotel i don't want to visit. Similarly, the loud music in the lobby was awful. It was not music for the guests there. It was pop music for the college-age employees. Everyone there hated it.
