Staff was amazing Monica at the bar phenomenal! Short staffed but amazing. I wish the hot tub and Paul were usable. They were not very disappointed. I wish the bar had more options for food no nachos. You think you have nachos at a bar. One of the elevators was out of order disappointing since there was a lot of people going up and down. Literally booked this hotel for the hot tub and pool..

The hot tub did not work. The pool area was dirty with towels allover. There were not clean towels to use. The key cards did not work. We requested new cards five times. We requested clean towels and room cleaning. However, we did not receive clean towels and our room was not cleaned.

Hidden fees such as “mandatory” $62 incidental fee to be paid prior to check-in on top of room/fees/taxes when booked. Was told it can be refunded “if there’s anything left”. Most places just ask for a card on file, this was strange to me. Plus $17/night parking fee. These should be disclosed prior to booking, I would have not booked here if I knew.

The hotel stay itself was nice. I had no issues and the individuals at the front desk were very helpful. The huge issue is the parking. I parked in the underground parking lot which had visible cameras hanging on the ceiling. My car was broken into overnight and a lot of valuable items were stolen. I was moving across the country - usually my car wouldn't have anything in it. Upon contacting the hotel, they admitted the garage cameras were not operational at all besides in the stairwell. Please be careful and if you choose to stay here do not leave anything in your car. I do regret choosing this inn and blindly relying that their garage cameras would deter theft. I'm heartbroken as many personal valuable items were stolen.

The staff was very courteous and our room was clean and had everything it was supposed to. I have stayed here many times and it pains me to say that the hotel itself is seeming more and more run down with each visit. The carpet in the public spaces looked dirty and worn, one elevator wasn’t working and the other seemed to creak along very slowly. The room furniture (dresser/credenza) was dinged and damaged. The breakfast buffet quality was diminished (e.g., coffee is now 100% self-serve in paper cups — no one doing refills in the dining area — and fewer options on the buffet). I like this hotel and hope it gets the attention and resources it needs.

Great location and super friendly staff! Downside is the management needs to get their second elevator fixed and should have figured out a way to let people use the stairs in the meantime. The wait time to get down from the eighth floor was ridiculous. The queen beds are actually full beds, my key quit working twice, my daughters room was dirty and something started dripping on a fellow traveler from the light fixture in the elevator on our way down.

The checking in agent was horribly rude. He said they had a hot tub to find out it was out of service. The beds were hard. Our room had what looked like urine on the wall and a white substance on the chair. I’ve stayed here before and love it. This trip was not good at all

This was average. Air conditioner was incredibly noisy. I was awake more than asleep. Bed was good with an assortment of pillows. Bathroom was less than sparkling —tub enclosure and floors could use some attention. For the price, I will look at other options on my next trip.

While this property was convenient it was VERY dirty. It did not appear the common areas had been cleaned in a very long time. There was black mold around the rim of the bathroom sink and barely any water pressure in shower. There was also a plethora of smells likely from the areas like halls elevators and common areas not being clean.

Room size and setup were great but 2nd floor rooms have totally blocked view of roof machinery and nothing more. I did NOT feel I should be paying full price for room with a cell like view! Also, shower shampoo dispenser fell off overnight.

This was our second time staying here. Had a fine stay the first time so we thought we would stay again. That was a mistake. The first time we did not have a car and did not realize the utter disaster that this hotel had for parking. VERY limited self parking and what was available is all reserved for the many restaurants around. Your only option is being forced underground and charge $14 a night to park. We stayed several days so that adds up. Our first night, our AC ran the entire time and literally was so loud, sounding like an airplane was landing on top of us...I'm not exaggerating..we didn't sleep at all! We were able to move rooms, but one of our beds headboards wasn't even connected to the bed and everytime you barely moved, it banged against the wall. Shower water pressure was a disaster. We will be returning to Denver many times over the next few years and have made the decision to never to return here. I would recommend the same. On a side note, the staff was friendly and helpful, but didn't make up for the circumstances and frustrations..

I stayed at this hotel while I was in town for a meeting. I realize that the Garden Inn is Hilton’s more-affordable branch of hotels but the quality was just not what I expect for a Hilton. Sheets were cheap/scratchy, the furniture and bathroom vanity were worn/dirty, stain on the carpet, and caulk around tub was needing to be replaced. I also was not impressed with the front desk personnel (not very professional or helpful) and the parking situation at this location was horrible. The front desk said to park anywhere and ignore any signs (2 hour parking, etc) but I didn’t feel comfortable with that. Won’t stay again.

Location was perfect for our visit to DU. Property was clean and comfortable with lots of amenities in the vicinity. Neighborhood was safe and easily accessible. Rooms facing west have incredible views of the mountains.

Overall, the room was excellent and a good value. The furniture and counters were a bit 'shop-worn' but everything was fully functional and had a lot of things many other hotels lack: ample storage, table space, VERY comfortable beds, etc. charging $2 for a local water bottle seemed a bit onerous. i wish the TV would support AirPlay. having a broken elevator was a minor inconvenience, as there was 2, but it appeared the service elevator was also broken so the mornings were a bit busy with all the cleaning crew and guests sharing a single elevator.

The location was good for my event. First encounter with staff was at the check-in desk, started off terrible and then improved. I did not complain. The room was OK nothing special but the water pressure was lousy and the shower was in need of replacement showerhead and drainage was poor I probably won’t stay there again. Times are tough and I know these housekeepers and people who work on staff at Hotel have a difficult job. I think very difficult. I do have empathy for them in these times. Thank you for letting me submit these thoughts.

Hotel couldn't find the reservation, and didn't seem too inclined to help find a solution. Anthony, the person at the front desk was quite rude and unhelpful to me, my guests, and the hotels.com representative that called to fix the issue. Management should seriously consider finding a better personality to replace Anthony.

Started off a little rough with some reservation confusion but it was quickly corrected by wonderful front desk people. Upon checkout my son 1st forgot his pillow and he was immediately allowed to return to the room to retrieve it then about 20 miles (in Denver at the time we left takes about 50 minutes) he realized he forgot his ear buds and phone charger. I called and when we made the drive back they had his stuff waiting for him at the front desk! This is what truly impressed me, we have left many things in hotels and this was the 1st time that it was found and returned. The staff was amazing and very accommodating.

The front desk was not clear they charge you for parking and breakfast. They explain it’s free parking because you booked the room. They explain breakfast but don’t tell you they will charge you a day after you check out. They blame booking on hotel.com but they don’t let you know when you check in you do not have free breakfast. They just mention they have free breakfast. The breakfast is overpriced and there’s nothing you can do because they charged your credit card and they tell you it’s your fault because you booked with hotel.com

Breakfast could be better. The juice is watered down. One morning, my yogurt tasted bad, and it, as well as all the other yogurts, had expired. The bananas at breakfast were usually verging on black. There was no decaf coffee readily available. Very mediocre breakfast and could easily be a better one.

Stayed 1 night with two young kids. The room was as you'd expect (typical hard beds, a chair, and shower stuff), but we did find a container of chew left behind on the floor by a bed. However, the staff were fantastic. This was our first time in colorado and the staff to check us in, who manned the breakfast buffet, and who were at the check out counter were very kind and accommodating. At check in we were kindly asked if we had preference to how high up or close we are the the elevators (never had that option presented but very nice with carrying kids up!). When we left, my 3year old was cleverly telling us how hungry he was (hoping to buy candy) and the interaction with the man at the counter was meaningful from one parent to another parent. Breakfast had a good selection of items. Specifically fresh fruit, juice, and milk options were well received by my kids (white, chocolate, and strawberry milk!). My 5 year old lost his loose tooth while eating and it was really handy to just bring the rest of our breakfast upstairs without any issues (and even have to run back down to grab a little more from the rush to go up).

We specifically asked if the hot tub was working. We were told it was working. It was not. Breakfast was awful. Old stale bread and not edible greasy food.
