Check in was very welcoming. Matthew at from desk was great. Evening milk & cookies was a fun amenity. Very walkable downtown area. Parking is exhorbitantly expensive at the hotel. Plenty of other nearby garages available.

Food was great! Service was great! Coffee only available during breakfast hours-not so great. You cannot get coffee here in the evening. Just the crappy coffee in the room. Otherwise this is a great hotel. Don’t plan on using machines to work out. Most do not work at all.

It was great except for the parking garage is not attached. Pretty in convenient for a handicapped person. I could use the valet next time but I didn’t know it was available until after I parked in the parking garage.

The elevators were slow and one was out completely. This adds about 15 minutes to your departure or arrival and if an event lets out, with several arriving back at the same time, expect to wait longer. The staff more than makes up for any equipment shortfalls. Everyone was courteous and thoughtful.

The hotel is centrally located in Denver, but there was construction on the streets around and the access was limited. The valet was not 24h ( only 6:30 AM- 11PM) and I was left in nerve-wrecking status both nights I was there, as I arrived way after 11PM back from Red Rocks concerts and basically had to leave the rental car in the hotel driveway, very close to the open street with lots of homeless around. Luckily no damage was done to the rental car, but for $49 a night for parking I expect more. Also , one night there was a super loud party in the room next door (1056) , totally inconsiderate to the other guests. The room itself was very nice and clean. Unfortunately, I got an abrupt wake-up call at 7 AM sharp , courtesy of the Jack hammers on 17-th St construction. Not a pleasant stay at all.

I did find a massive roach the first morning after arrival. Upon calling the front desk they assisted with an immediate room switch, as I requested. The beds were comfortable and there was a restaurant below that served three meals. The hotel did provide complimentary water and cookies throughout the day which was well appreciated after long days of walking. Would recommend with caution.

This is a pretty typical conference-style hotel, but the housekeeping and facilities left a lot to be desired. The bathrooms are really dated—the tub looked grimy, the toilet in my first room wouldn’t flush, and the old hairdryer even singed my hair. Housekeeping skipped my room three out of five nights, and when they did show up, they didn’t wipe down counters or clean the tub. They also forgot basics like coffee and cups. Overall, it’s fine for a business trip, but the lack of consistency and upkeep was frustrating.

The location was great and the staff were all so wonderful, the property itself was ok. The room was a bit small but not a huge deal as I was only there to sleep. There were however some chipped paint spots on the walls, a dirty towel in my bathroom when I checked in and the tv stopped working on my last night. Overall it wasn’t a terrible stay but I probably wouldn't stay again.

The room smelled like dirty dog & cigarettes. The tiles in the floors were falling apart. The floors were so dirty my feet were black. The shower looks dirty & the bed is very uncomfortable.

I have stayed at other Magnolia properties throughout the US with minimal problems. That is why I am shocked at the conditions of this hotel. To begin with the elevators were dirty. When we got to our room at 1st glance the room looked tidy but very plain. Once we looked a little closer it was a bit more run down then we expect at this price point. The grout was missing on most tiles on the bathroom floor. It made for sharp corners on the floor and my pinkie toe got stabbed on one. The window sill area was dirty and looked like someone had spilled "milk" on the sill and splashed the window. The carpet was frayed an coming up at the bathroom threshold. The oulets on rhe desk didn't work. The glasses in the room were dirty and it looked like water had dried in the bottom. We tried to call and stop by the desk for nrw glasses, ice and water and couldn't reach anyone for over 30 min. Once we did we had to go down and get it ourselves. The couches down stairs were dirty and I didn't want to sit on them. This was a special night out for my husband and I for our anniversary so we wanted something nicer then normal. It was a serious let down for tbis price point.

A good location, free water bottles, milk and cookies. However, the room was not great. Extremely noisy AC, a shower door which was not fitted correctly so you couldn’t stop water leaking onto the floor, a wardrobe with shelves in it so minimal room to hang clothes and finally a door between 2 rooms with people on the other side who decided to sing along to rap music at 6.30am. That one’s not the hotel’s fault but the lack of sound proofing is. I wouldn’t recommend or stay here again.

Nothing in the hotel felt old enough to be an antique, while nothing in the hotel felt new enough to be modern. Thermostat batteries died while we were out of the room, but were promptly changed when requested. Seems like the workers do their best, but management needs to invest in the building.

Sooo noisy!! That rail car kept me up alllll night with its bell ringing and honking. My friend said she had an interior room and couldn’t hear anything but my room was a street view and the noise was unbearable! New dual pane windows would probably help..

The staff was great and the room was nice. However, I gave this rating because the Internet is really slow, glitchy and unreliable. In a separate issue, the television kept turning off by itself. Would’ve loved to have a refrigerator in the room. It was very inconvenient having ice only on one floor.

I found it interesting that the room didn’t have a mini fridge. Also half of the mattress was like sleeping on a lumpy roll of blankets. The pillows were all extra full and hard.

The room was comfortable and had an interesting view of the street, there was a small issue with the heating/AC unit making a lot of racket, but that was quickly fixed by the maintenance staff. Only real complaint was that the tiles and grout on the bathroom floor desperately needed repair, with multiple loose tiles and chunks of grout sticking to our feet and shifting under us as we walked in the bathroom.

Check-in was actually not good at all. It took ages because there was only ONE attendant at the front desk and there was a creep giving her a hard time, holding up the line, he was clearly trying to get something free or some money back so I do not blame her but I do think it's ridiculous that no one else came out. It was already annoying that I could not check in via the app because it needed an entire hour's notification and we were just under, why it would need so much time is beyond me. Not something you want to deal with after an exhausting day of flying & a long cab ride. Then upstairs, there was NOT a single drop of shower gel, the shower curtain was missing a button & had been hung improperly on the right hand side which I was able to fix but I could not fix the part where the curtain attaches to the liner as it had a missing button. I also thought the showerhead felt cheaply plastic, I was afraid of handling it. Why not have a showerhead with a hose? No secure WiFi connection. The mattress was fantastic, the HVAC in the room was great, the TV was fine. The elevators are fast and reliable. Every staff member we talked to was great! They were friendly and ready to help. Tasty infused water at the ground level and free candy and that candy was actually good and I don't even have a sweet tooth. It was overall great, check-in was the worst part.

The staff was certainly subpar. Our room wasn’t cleaned 1 day, we didn’t receive our VIP gift at check in, the bar never served one of our drinks etc etc. The physical hotel was OK but nothing exceptional.

Our stay at this hotel was magnificent. From beginning to end, the service was outstanding. Our room was nice and clean and the extra amenities blew me away. Free coffee, water bottles, treats for yoyr dog if you bring one and a voucher for 2 drinks! Amazing! Will definitely be back. Almost firgot the best part, each night in the evening, you get free milk and cookies! I would like to thank Matthew at the front desk for being so nice and welcoming.

The property is just okay. I have an average rating because the front desk customer service could have been better. When asking questions the front desk acted like it was a bother. There’s a sign in the room that says if you need ice to call the operator and they’ll bring it to you. No one ever came. If they were too busy they could have just guided us as to where to get the ice ourselves. We also asked for extra pillows and that never came. Valet service was pricey but the valet customer service was excellent. our stay here was just okay, I would not stay here again.

We were also supposed to be called when our room was available but we received no call and instead decided to go ask ourselves around 5:30.

The property is in a good location in downtown Denver. It was a rough check in. Room wasn’t ready at the listed check in time. We were told that the room hadn’t been cleaned as the prior guests had just checked out. Eventually they placed us in a different room that was the same but had a fireplace. I am not sure why they were so reluctant to change the room. This upgrade should have been part of the Expedia VIP experience but it wasn’t offered that way. The room included 2 drinks and I had paid for breakfast. Neither of these were provided during check in so I had to return to the front desk. I explained to them what happened and was told that my room included breakfast and not drinks. Of course that was incorrect and I had to locate the booking info to show her that I was correct. She kept looking in her computer until she located the info which took some time. They also have to move back and forth from two computers to accomplish the lengthy check in process. The bar restaurant is set up so employees can’t see the restaurant from behind the bar so nobody comes out to take orders or provide menus. I had to go to the bar to get menus. I asked if I need to order at the bar or if someone came to our table. I was told they came to the table but nobody ever did and we left the hotel to find a different restaurant. There are a lot of nice hotels in Denver and I would stay at a different one next time.

Hit or miss with front desk/guest service. Front desk told us no room upgrades were available (Expedia Gold notes complementary drinks for 2 and room upgrade) and we were handed a $15 coupon for the drinks (average cocktail price was $16-$17 each) As Bonvoy members we were welcomed with a bag or trail mix and apple in our room. Unfortunately cannot have peanuts and the trail mix was full of them. Appreciate the gesture. Upon checking into room there were questionable stains on bedding and bathroom sink was dirty. I really needed to use the bathroom and quickly wiped down what i needed to, and that should not have been the case. We brought these issues to another person at the front desk and they immediately upgraded our room. Not sure why we were told just 30 mins prior by a different person that there were no upgrades available. Our room had a kitchenette with sink, but no paper towel or towel, no dish soap, no utensils. Usually there’s at least a kitchen towel or roll of paper towels if there’s a sink. Staff is quick to respond to any inquiries, location was convenient, and there is a parking garage across the street with affordable rates (use Spot Hero app. We paid $107 for 6 days) Would stay here again, just need to thoroughly check for cleanliness.

Location is great. We ended up in a room that overlooked the street, and was therefore a little noisy. It didn't look much like the pictures I recall seeing, but it wasn't at all bad. Good shower, bathtub, comfortable bed. Kitchen and bar on-site. Plenty to do nearby. Park yourself next door and save a few bucks.

Great stay in a great location! Convenient to everything and in a perfect location if ya want to explore the downtown area. Easy walk to restaurants, fine dining and quick eats. We attended a concert at Coors Field and even walked there. The building is older but that just adds to its charm. Very clean and functionable. Staff are awesome!! First time in town and had no clue on where to go and where not to. Staff answered all our questions and even recommended off property parking that was safe and convenient! We’ll be back and this will be our “go to” !

I was here for a several day conference at the Denver Convention Center, so I spent limited tim at the hotel and only had breakfast there. The breakfast was fine. One day I got a moldy strawberry in my breakfast but they quickly remedied it and took the fruit off my bill, so that was fine. Daily coffee bar is good, with all different milk and sweetener options. Hotel was in a great location for me. 3 blocks from convention center. LOTS of bars and restaurants in this area. I ate at a few for lunch/dinner and had good experiences. Yelp definitely helps with this.

Check-in was easy and our female clerk was very friendly. The hotel was beautiful and lively. They offered milk and cookies to all hotel guests for an hour at night. The room was clean and spacious. The shower was absolutely amazing!! Checkout was fast and easy. I would highly recommend valet due to the unsafe environment. It’s a bit pricey, but absolutely worth it. Don’t wander too much outside of the hotel, especially if you’re walking.

We ordered room service that never came. I called ahead days prior to inform them that there was a birthdayin our party. I was told they were going to do "something special" there was nothing. (Unless that\'s what the dried up booger on the wall was for) The staff was not helpful, understanding or kind with check-in. The room we were in (a king suite) had a dried booger on the wall, and there was trash on the floor when we arrived. The bathroom sink was dirty. Valet was wonderful though! Incredibly helpful, kind and knowledgeable.

Great hotel if you’re staying downtown. 16th mall shuttle made it very convenient. Milk and cookies is a nice touch. Could be done earlier than 8:00 but they are delicious! Breakfast at Harry’s is a must!

The stay overall was pretty good. The room and common areas were clean and the staff was helpful and polite. The breakfast was also really good. The two issues we had were the A/C and the room service. The A/C didn't keep the room cool at all, in fact no adjustment changed the room temperature. So sleeping was difficult. The other issue was the two desserts we ordered. We ordered the banana pudding and the cake, both were not worth the price. We tried both and didn't eat more than one bite from each.
