Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Longmont by IHG

I chose this location for the pool & hot tub. Being a former guest, I knew I would appreciate those amenities. However, the entire pool area was closed for our entire stay due to maintenance. Boo. Was not worth the money for the stay at this particular time.

Front desk staff were amazing! Friendly, helpful and professional! Room was clean and comfortable. Kids absolutely loved the pool, especially the slide!!! Breakfast was delicious. Mattresses need replaced and mattress pad for the pullout was a challenge. Eating utensils in kitchenette would have been helpful!

One of our rooms was next to the ice machine, so that was quite loud at times early in the morning and late at night. We were looking forward to a swim, but the swimming pool was closed on Sunday morning, which was a disappointment and hot tub wasn’t very hot felt lukewarm. The options for breakfast were good.

We have been to this hotel 3 times now and it is always a good experience. Hot breakfast is quite good, and I used the fitness room this time and it was clean and equipment was in good condition.

We have stayed here twice year for several years visiting family. Primary attraction is pool. For 2nd year in a row, stairs to the slide at the pool remain severely rusted. Hot tub worked only one night out of our four night stay. They were forced to close the pool for an hour one evening because they over chlorinated the pool and it was difficult to breath. Staff is very friendly and helpful but the owners need to address these important issues. Probably our last stay there.

We picked this hotel for the pool and kiddie pool. The kiddie pool didn't work at all the 3 days we stayed. The chlorine was so heavy in the big pool you could actually feel it in your lungs when you walked in. Our 8 year old actually asked to go to the room early because of coughing. There was a guy checking things and kept putting hoses into the pool I'm guessing too thin out the chlorine. If they do a little work on the pool area I'd give 5 stars across the board. The staff was super friendly.

I was charged twice for my room and my money was with held from me for days! Staff was friendly from the most part. Chemicals in the pool where to strong.

The pool was amazing but the kiddie pool with frog slide was freezing cold compared to the other pool.

Our room was not provided with bedding for our pullout sofa and we needed to go to the front desk to get that. Also our tub had a brown sticky substance that made the shower/tub unusable and the hotel was unable to reimburse us and no other rooms were available. Would not recommend.

This is the least clean Holiday Inn Express I’ve ever stayed in…the rugs/carpet (from the entrance all the way down the halls) were filthy from the time we checked in Friday night all the way through our Sunday check out…the night check in was so mellow, the front desk person was playing games on his phone and could’ve easily grabbed a vacuum and made the place look and feel so much better. Our room floors had very visible dirt/debris in the corners. The pool are was a bummer because it has a slide in terrible condition, which is closed, but seems that it’s been that way for a long time. A little more attention to cleaning and this location could be so much better :)

Definitely needs some updating. The bathroom tub was rusting & there were a few tiles on the bathroom floor that were about to fall through. Room wasn’t very clean. There were crumbs all over the table under the TV & the bedside tables. The location was nice.

Room was spotless! Staff was amazing. Breakfast selection was very good.

Mold on the walls. AC leaked causing the floor to be soaking wet. TV wouldn’t work. The big slide was closed which was very disappointing for our littles.

Clean lobby, fresh scent, clean room, friendly staff.

Nice and quiet. Problem was the bathroom floor tile was cracked and i cut my foot on it. AC was horribly loud. I told staff at 445am or 5am nothing ever got done. I resorted to leaving a towel folded on the cracked tile for safety. I am diabetic and a foor cut wasnt what i needed but i needed to be heard and have the issues resolved.

Couch in room was filthy. Couldn't sit on it!! Airconditioning didn't cool!

The large suite was perfect for our family! Best night of sleep on our entire trip was at this hotel. The pool and breakfast were a nice bonus to have.

check-in was smooth, the staff was friendly. My kids really enjoyed the water slide. Negatives far outweighed the good. Inroom Keurig was completely unusable, with brown chunks and old water sitting where the pod should go. mini fridge wasn’t cold, causing our food to spoil. Wi-Fi and phone service barely worked, especially after 8:15 PM. Pool area was another major issue. The pool floor and stairs were incredibly slippery, even when just walking. My kids took multiple falls and got hurt. By the afternoon, the pool floor was even dirtier and more slippery.Kid pool was uncomfortably cold at least 10-15 degrees colder.There were no clean pool towels available all 3 times we went to the pool. The hot water ran out while giving kids a bath for bed after the pool and we had to wait over 30 minutes for it to come back. Noise level at night was ridiculous. 2nd night of our stay, between 11:30 PM and 7:AM doors were constantly opening and closing near our room, playing loud TV and fighting next to us. The in room phone did not work and couldn't make a report as we cant leave children unsupervised in our room in the middle of the night. making it nearly impossible to sleep. There are hotel rooms that have clear view of the water slide and noticed people staring which made me feel very uneasy. Would not stay here again.

Noise from roof equipment at the 3rd floor was loud all through the night.

Handicap room did not have low level access to shower. Air Conditioner initially out of order but fixed. Phone to call main desk out of order.

when I took a shower the water wouldn't shut off.I called the front desk and he immediately shifted me to another room right across hall. the walls are very thin and the guy next me had his tv all the way loud others complained so he turned it down but you can hear rooms next you The breakfast is nice with lots of options of protein carbs, the only guy on staff did his best to make sure everything was good fortunately. I had earplugs and everything was fine what's great is the staff will do everything they can to make things right.

I brought my kids here to enjoy the pool and slide for spring break. The kiddie pool was drained, so we couldn’t use it. The big pool and slide were operational. However, the chlorine fumes were HORRIBLE. Our eyes were burning and everyone using the pool were coughing non-stop. Staff told us that it was a machine that chlorinated the pool automatically. It did seem to be ok every few hours and then the fumes would get bad again. So we would try to time our swimming around when it wasn’t as noticeable. Staff opened doors to give some ventilation but it made the lobby full of fumes. When other guests were checking in they were already complaining their eyes were burning. I’m not one to complain, so we decided to not swim anymore. But then my son and his friend went down to check to see if the fumes were bad and maybe try it again, it was still horrible so they came out of the pool complaining with a group of other children who had been swimming. Then a staff member named Barrett told the kids their reaction to the over chlorination was a “personal issue”. I couldn’t believe he had the audacity to suggest that because some may not have a strong reaction to the chlorine that it didn’t matter if others did. He was condescending, argumentative, and extremely rude. While other staff the previous day and that morning had been very apologetic and turned the slide off, which seemed to help the fume issue. We left that evening due to how Barrett handled the situation.

We were told one rate at check in—$144 each for two rooms, but at checkout we were charged $247 per room. The clerk said there was nothing we could do and we had to contact Expedia, which was odd, because we booked with you. I had her give me copies of our check-in and checkout receipts which clearly show two different prices. Can you tell me who to contact?

All the staff from check in to breakfast to check out were customer focused! It’s refreshing to see!!

They charged me an additional $45 on my card that I didn't agree to when I made reservation at checkout. Also asked the hotel for a receipt of my stay and she said she would email to me. Still haven't gotten it.

We had the best time at this Holiday Inn! The employees were so friendly and helpful. The pool was perfect for my granddaughter and me. The room was clean, the bed comfy, the water pressure great, and breakfast was hot and filling. It was easy to get to our reunion destination, shopping, restaurants, and attractions. Thank you for a great stay!

Awesome location! I’ve worked in hotels for four years and I am so satisfied with this location and its staff! The room was so nice and clean, I loved it. The gentleman who checked me in (I can’t remember his name but he had red hair) was awesome and took great care of us. Please give him a raise if possible! The morning staff was also great. Thanks for an awesome stay!

This was good stop for me from Denver to Rocky Mountain National park. Only an hour from park and away from hustle bustle of Denver

Always enjoy Holiday Inn Express, they are very consistent. This is convenient to the airport, and Boulder.

Close proximity to shops and restaurants.

Visiting family in the area. Very convenient to every where we needed to be.

We just enjoyed three nights of this nice hotel. The location was great with lots of dining and shopping choices nearby. It was close to our friends and the university. They had a great breakfast with long serving hours. The pool was indoors and even had a water slide and a hot tub. Employees were helpful and very friendly. Terrific stay!

Beds were really comfortable! Locations is close to a lot of fast food chains but not many authentic or high quality dining. Lots of big box stores near by as well.

The hotel was near a shopping center that had a lot of amenities. Plenty of eating establishments are near as well. The hot breakfast was good everyday was a menu change. The front door staff were nice and very helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

A comfortable, quiet room. I would stay again. We never did take advantage of the pool. Stayed 6 nights. Breakfast was usually good. However one morning scrambled eggs were served. They were horrible and I saw several people throwing them away after taking a bite. Hopefully this is just a one time happening at an otherwise very nice place to stay.

Clean nice room. The breakfast was nice although the drink dispenser was out of order and no alternative was available.

Clean, easy access. Was to close to the pool and it was very loud and didnt stop until 10pm. Evening staff was barely friendly. Day staff was great. Breakfast was not good, pastries were dry and almost stale. Hot food was soso.

Still using covid as a reason for not having any meat items on the menu for a holiday weekend when it was a busy weekend other then that it was great
