Check in was quick and easy. Same with check out. Employees very nice. JR was wonderful with helping with luggage coming in and going out due to elevator not working. That was the one inconvenience. Breakfast was okay for a continental breakfast. But not for anyone with food allergies. Very convenient to local attractions and some dining options.

The location and parking lot very convenient. The front desk gentleman was very helpful and polite. My room was clean and spacious very simple but comfortable. The pool was very clean and warm. Unfortunately I had a very loud neighbor☹️ walls are very thin you can hear everything very clearly even from outside.

During our stay the elevator was not working. The breakfast was located on the second floor. The convenience of a working elevator would have been nice. There was no daily maid service. It is okay that the linens were not changed, but the beds were not made and the bathroom were not cleaned. Our stay was for two nights.

It was our first time staying at Spark. The hallways were very dingy. Wet towels were laying in the hallway overnight. Our room had very little toilet paper in the room and no spare roll. The shower curtain smelled musty. Housekeeping came into our room at 9:30 without knocking. We weren’t ready to check out but just packed and left. Very disappointing for a Hilton property.

Water pressure in shower was great. The location was right off highway (easy on and off). Plenty of nearby eateries. Breakfast at hotel was continental. Bagels, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, juice, coffee but that’s all we needed. Area was clean, tidy and well stocked. Would stay there again. Only reason it didn’t get a 5 for everything is that there wasn’t an EV charger.

The motel was actually quite comfortable. The halls had small pieces of trash on the carpet, mostly small pieces of paper. No shampoo in our shower. Luckily I brought my own. People above us were extremely noisy.

I tried it based on reviews of how clean and updated the property was. The room I booked and paid for was not available. I got the last room available- smaller, directly behind reception and lobby. It was loud w every party coming in at all hours. The bed linens were clean and room was clean, but the age of the property was apparent with filthy moldy rug odors permeating the rooms and hallway. Failed experiment on my part, thankfully only one night.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. It was conveniently located, everything was clean, the room was in good condition, the complementary breakfast was very nice, the breakfast room was clean, and it doubled as a place for us all to visit with each other in the early evening.

We booked 3 rooms with friends. 2 of the rooms were clean but the 3rd room had ants all over the bathroom floor. My friend took a picture of the ants and at checkout brought it to the attention of the gentleman sitting in the Manager’s office. The “Manager” thanked him and said he would “look into it” and walked out of the office. Never apologized or offered any type of compensation / refund. Poor Customer service, the Manager could have been more receptive to the complaint.

What a great find! This hotel has been redone and is super clean! Breakfast was simple but a great selection of bagels and coffee. Good location to Mystic or a great place to stop for the night. We were pleasantly surprised for the price!

The hotel is very nice. Their complimentary breakfast has coffee, tea, juice, bagels, oatmeal and cereal available. The staff is excellent. I would absolutely stay here again. My only complaint is that we could hear the people above us walking around their room. We were unlucky in the fact that they were walking around until about 1AM and dropping things on the floor. The issue was more with an inconsiderate guest versus the hotel but I would recommend requesting the top floor.

Found out that this property is the low end class of Hilton Hotels. The bed was comfortable, linens were clean and towels were plentiful. The bathroom was very small and we didn’t particularly like that the sink was outside the bathroom. Front desk staff, Lisa, was very pleasant.

Check in and check out went smooth. It is an OK place lace to stay overnight at just a few minutes from historical town of Mystic. However, the bathroom is small and uncomfortable and the walls are thin. We could hear the conversations and steps from the guests in the room above us.

The staff was nice, the hotel was clean. The continental breakfast was good. Had a nice assortment. They were testing the fire alarm system when we were there. No one gave us notice about it. And then they were flushing the water system which turned our water black. Again they did not give us any notice. There should have been a message on our phone or a notice posted on the doors that they would be doing it that day.

Customer service was terrible! My room literally flooded in the middle of the night. I was sound asleep when I heard rushing water, the unbend in the sink (which is in the room with how things are laid out) broke! I had to beg to get someone down to the room (they thought I clogged the sink until they saw it and told me to just wait until the morning. I understand it was midnight, but the water was flooding! Listen, the plumbing literally broke in the room, that wasn’t the desk guys fault. Here is where the real problems started. The room they moved us into was terrible, it too had a wet spot in the carpet and smelled like something died in there. They said there was nothing else. It was midnight, my kid was asleep, I tried to deal. We finally got to sleep at 2am only be awoken before 7am by the tv turning on to welcome us to our new room. At that point we figured let’s just cut out losses and head home early. I went to check out early and the front desk as incredibly rude. I had to fight to get my money back! They kept saying it was as a little water and the new room didn’t smell that bad (it was vacant that night because of the smell). Terrible experience. Ride workers. Hotel falling apart even though it was just redone.

Excellent value for this type of room. We booked while on the road and in need of a place for the night. Reviews were encouraging. We arrived early evening and were warmly greeted by Lisa and Christine. At check out we had the pleasure of meeting Tiffany. They and the other staff ( in the Bagel Bar) were all very friendly and helpful. The decor was pretty cool, too. I recommend Spark for a quick layover or for a visit to very nearby Mystic.

This hotel's inside corridor is 175 yards long with the front desk and breakfast room at one end, and out room at the other end. So a round trip is a 350 yard walk. At check-in the clerk directed us to the adjacent stairwell rather than suggesting that we could actually access our 2nd floor room from the opposite end of the building to save a 150 yard walk with luggage. Also the elevator was out of service. I was also told that I should have made my reservation directly with Hilton rather than Expedia. It happens that Expedia's room rate was $10 per night per room less (I had 2 rooms for 2 nights). On check-out I requested a printed receipt and the front desk clerk said it was not policy to give a printed receipt because I made the reservation through Expedia. I did not have access to my email and needed a printed receipt. I told her that it was not believable that she could not provide a receipt. She said it was because I booked through Expedia. She then said I was being disruptive and was calling the police to have me removed from the property. I asked if there was any reason I should choose to stay at this hotel again - her reply was "I don't ever want to see you here again." This is Hilton's hospitality policy??

Convenient location to Mystic Seaport Museum. Facility was clean and staff very accommodating and friendly. My only complaint is when we showed up early to ask if our room was ready we were told it was but they have an early check in fee. Obvious money grab which was a turnoff but probably came from corporate and not the fault of the workers there. Would stay there again.

Overall a solid stay, in the higher end cost wise for the room size, sink is outside if bathroom and beds take up most of the space, but overall a solid night. Also, breakfast adequate but could be a bit more protein, had peanut butter and from what I could see eggs(couldn't tell if they were hard boiled) Location was very convenient to downtown Mystic or Stonington or New London, and a good retail type area, almost within walking distance to the aquarium Staff was extremely friendly recommending restaurants, giving me access to the room post check out to grab an item in left behind. Will be a solid option during summer months with outdoor pool.

This was a perfect choice for us for a two night stay. Check in was easy, the room was comfortable and clean, the lounge for breakfast and relaxing was a perfect place to rest and warm up (we were visiting in January during a cold snap). Having afternoon hot tea and coffee was a wonderful touch. The hotel is new so it was very clean and well cared for. It was easy to get to the Seaport museum and downtown Mystic.

It's a motel, but its a good motel. Rooms were clean and well maintained, they were cool about my cat, bagel breakfast was fine but its basically just a continental breakfast. Don't expect lox or anything. Staff were friendly. Not scary like some motels.

Check in was quick. Parking was easy. Room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom could use a place to spread out our toiletries, such as a shelf or cabinet below or next to the sink. The breakfast provided was basic but the room was much too crowded for the guests. There were very few tables. Most of us were getting a coffee or bagel or muffin and going back to our rooms.

The only thing I didn't care for was the breakfast. When they say bagel bar you literally get 3 choices of thawed bagels and muffins. No milk available. All carbs for a no carb diet didn't work.
