This was a truly beautiful place, very nice atrium and pool area. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only complaint is the hot tub was disgusting- please shut it down rather than let it brew bacteria like that.

I booked 2 rooms at embassy suites in Fort Lauderdale and it was very disappointing one of the rooms had bathtub drainage issue called customer service they sent a tech who couldn’t fix it, contacted again and was moved to a different room yet it had the same issue with drainage, service was really unhelpful and this location was by far below other embassy suites by hilton

We have stayed with embassy suits before and have had no problems however this was our first time at this one. Our bathroom was COVERED in hair! When we complained at front desk they offered us a new room. Before moving our stuff to the new room we checked that room and that bathroom was also covered in hair. They needed up sending someone to clean our first room again for us. I wish I could show the pictures but I can’t attach them.

The common areas are nice. Clean and tasteful. Our room left a lot to be desired....I immediately stepped on candy in the middle of the living room carpet left by the previous guests and missed by housekeeping. Ditto the hair in the tub. The bathroom tiles and grout were all chipped and discolored, and so was the enamel in the tub. The shower water pressure was dreadful. Worst of all, when I raised these issues with the front desk (more than once, mind you), I was ignored.

The living area of the suite did not have AC. When I called the second time to ask for someone to check it the representative said he couldn’t believe no one told us upon check in that the AC in the living area of suite was broken. Very uncomfortable for those sleeping in the living area. Guest left trash and plates outside their doors or by the trash cans next to the elevators and it wasn’t picked up timely. One trash bag sat over 12 hours next to a trash can on our floor.

Check in went smoothly. Front desk advised I had a renovated room. Furniture looked old and bathroom was very old and nosy. Had to call maintenance bc it kept making sounds. The room was very spacious and clean, as was the bathroom. Unfortunately, I had probably the worst possible view — a factory, parking lot with a constantly noisy generator outside, which made the small balcony unusable. Breakfast was quite poor, but considering the overall price, it didn’t really affect my choice. Overall, a good stay for the price and conditions. I will definitely consider this place for future vacations.

Our balcony door leaked so the floor was all wet. Hotel needs a little updating, but nice set up. Really great hot, included breakfast. We were only in town for 1 night to catch a cruise, so the location was great. Room didn't have a hair dryer and it took 45 minutes to get one.

Lovely property inside although showing some wear. The outside areas are sketchy and run down, trash scattered around, dying plants and shrubs. It was a fine place to stay pre- cruise had it not been for the $50 early check in fee in a nearly empty hotel (after traveling since 3am) which simply feels like extortion, and certainly not customer friendly. Shame Hilton.

We have stayed at this hotel three times- convenient to Port and has a nice pool, breakfast and good sized rooms. Our last check in we were given keys to as room that had not been cleaned- we then sat around until another room could be found. Very limited front desk staff and with such a busy hotel- needs more and finally, buy some decent toasters for the breakfast area. They are defective and take forever to use- always a long lineup.

We repeatedly asked for bedding, including a blanket and pillows, for the foldout bed, but they never responded. We had four in our room, but only two towels. Housekeeping and the front desk stopped answering their phone, so we spoke with guest services three times in three hours and they were even having trouble reaching anyone from housekeeping. The second time, housekeeping told the front desk staff they had delivered our requested items but they never did. We will never stay here again.

I can not say enough about the staff and management. They had gone above and beyond for us. On the day of our cruise we had forgotten my husbands insulin in the fridge. We had realized this once we were on board. I had called the hotel, they located the insulin and had a worker bring it to the Port for us. Any time we travel to Fort Lauderdale we will never stay anywhere else but here. Everyone we have told this to have been very impressed.

We had a great stay at Embassy Suites, everyone was very friendly and service was very fast when we requested something to the room. They were able to checked us in early and we had no problem doing a late check out for a reasonable fee. Thank you!! We will definitely stay here again

From the start the check in service was terrible. We called before we booked and asked which room type gave a view of the port and was told that all room types had that option and it was just luck of the draw. When we asked at the hotel we were told the rooms with a view were more money. The parking was also really expensive. The lobby was very clean and nice but on a Holiday weekend with several ships coming and going and 2 major football games, only 3 of the 5 elevators were working and a worker told us stairs could only be used for emergencies. We waited 10-20 mins on average for the elevator. The real kicker was the room was not clean. When we walked in there was a coffee stirrer on the floor. I took a few more steps and squished a raisin. The tub had sitting water in it. The shower curtain was falling apart. The dispenser was completely out of shampoo. Multiple lightbulbs were blown. The room was very spacious just not clean.

Service was excellent from beginning to end. Shout to the front desk staff Andrew & Anne you guys were amazing!!! Von the baker attendant was so friendly! We attended for a concert and felt like we were on a weekend getaway!!! Definitely recommend anyone to stay here and we’ll be back the next time we’re in South Florida!

The staff rarely answer the phones. Front desk asks like youre inconveniencing them when you talk to them. They have breakfast from like 6 to 9 am. Then happy hour from 5 to 630 pm. Kind of early if you ask me. There was construction either next to us or above us every day during working hours. Price gouge on parking and internet. Room service is just okay, pizza was the best thing.

Wow! Great location..Walk to everything. Not that you would want to with evening elixirs, restaurant and then breakfast (French toast, real egg omelets, and various fixins). Our trip ended in Fort Lauderdale...this was the perfect accommodation before our trip home. Excellent check in, valet parking, and room amenities.

Check in was quick and easy and my room was ready when I arrived. The room was specious and clean. The property offered free drinks (2) on an evening reception and also included a generous free breakfast for guests. A large outdoor pool allowed guest access until 10p. Multiple stores and restaurants are within easy walking distance from the hotel. A beach is about 4 miles from the hotel The hotel does apply a $34 - $39 uncovered parking fee which is not prominent in the promotion, Overall a good property to visit.

Great location to the airport and the great public beach. Easy in and out. Not a big fan of paying to park at my hotels but I understand being in town but they did not have limited parking so… lobby and central area ware very spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the 2 drink and app happy hour which was veggies and ranch with a side of “Chex mix”, slightly underwhelming but the drinks were good! Outside pool area was very nice including pool, hot tub and a Koi Pond!

The dining area “ Taste “ was very dirty. The food we ordered arrived cold and was not very good. We spent a $100 for cold chicken alfredo and a cold grilled chicken sandwich. The carpeted floor in the dining area was very dirty, the tables were dirty with food stains. There were people in the dining area with no shoes on. The room was just ok. There was hair all through out the towels and was cloths. We have stayed at cheaper hotels that were much cleaner. We chose to stay at this property because our experience with Embassy Suites in Washington DC was fabulous. This property not so much. We will choose a different property to stay at next time we book a cruise.

Great stay before our cruise. Close to port and Fort Lauderdale Beach. The happy hour was crowded and the bar was bit expensive outside of happy hour but overall the hotel is beautiful, new and clean. Staff was nice. Only negative that really stood out was hotel needs better toasters at breakfast. All 3 were small kitchen toasters - didn’t toast and people were standing around for awhile while their food got cold and ended up eating cold bagels and bread. Really need commercial size toasters for this many people.

The property itself is up to Embassy Suites standards. Unfortunately we had problems getting assistance from the staff as we requested a bellman to help with our luggage but no one ever came. We had to track down another staff member for help. The restaurant is supposed to be open until 10 but when we entered the restaurant at 9:25 PM we were told the kitchen was closed. The hotel is conveniently located to the airport and the port but the staff seem overwhelmed and because there are so many people there on a Monday because of the cruises, the breakfast is overwhelmed. The hotel should consider adjusting their hours to a little longer time on Mondays.

It was okay….rooms are old and in need of renovations. Calling front desk for help and nobody picks up. Breakfast buffet was terrible and the worst I have had at an embassy suites.
