3 adults - reserved a room with king size bed & queen size bed on third floor. Has a working elevator & lovely AC. Front desk was especially helpful with directions, extra towels, pool hours. Great place for an overnight.

Everything worked, good hot water. Had some trouble with the tv, but Ashley at the front desk came down and got it working, great attitude too. Needs some work, but not bad, clean up outdoors would be good

The room had a slight musty smell. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. Ashley at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The pool was a little dirty, but it’s across the street from the ocean so I didn’t mind.

Stayed at some of the local budget friendly hotels in the area and this is by far the nicest. The rooms are nice. The checkin was great thanks to Mike and the rooftop patio is awesome to just sit. Have a glass of wine and relax

Everything was good. Only difficulty I had was trying to find a parking spot. They had parking behind the hotel, but someone decided to block the entry to the parking lot resulting in going all the way around to the exit part of the lot and reverse inward to be able to leave the correct way the following mornings

It was a great location. There were some helpful office staff. Our room was average. The beds were comfortable. The Ac worked. Needed a new coffee maker, the in room safe jammed and it needed to be cut open to access our belongings. The beach was close and the pool at the hotel was nice to have.

Older hotel, TV issue feels safe really nice hotels across street. Decent clean pool. Definitely a spring break kids hotel, more than family hotel but for one night met our needs

I liked that it was next to the street. The beach was not far away but behind another hotel. There was a roach in my room crawling over my things. I had to sanitize my things. Other than that, it was just ok.

The first night we found roaches in the bathroom, over the sync, walking on the tiles and shower curtain. We reported to the reception and the next day they changed from first floor, to another room in the second floor. This new room was worst than the first one. It has more roaches walking all around the bathroom. They have no pest control, no sanitizing, no disinfecting protocole at all.

The floors were filthy. Walked barefoot during our stay in the room, went to get ready to call it a nite and the bottoms of our feet were black from dirt on floors. Rm#113, 2 doors away, the people were arguing and gad tons of people in and out of the room. Cops were there twice in 2 days. Another guy was doing drugs in his car and yelling at the female passenger. Just didn't have a very safe feeling. Then to top it off, there were roaches in the room. Didn't see them till the 2nd day. The overall look of the outside was nice but the unsafe feeling was not good.

The hotel had been painted a dingy blue/grey so the visual appeal shown in the pictures is gone. There were many amenities that were marginal such as tables and chairs outdoors in common areas like the pool and patios adorned with broken umbrellas and tables. My room had flooring that was coming up and your feet bottoms get black if you walk in the room barefoot. Just a dirty and worn out facility. However the most alarming of all conditions was the abundance of ROACHES of every size in our rooms which is simply not tolerable. I was tempted to catch some lizards to put in my room to eat the roaches... Most surely would NEVER stay here again, and I am not that damn picky...

There was roaches everywhere including the fringe with my food. The shower had hair in it. Mold in the shower. Taking a shower you’re standing in water. Just a ridiculous way to spend a birthday

Location was good. Near everything Terrible hotel. I was there a grand total of 5 hours. Had two rooms. I killed 6 bugs in that time. The first room the lady at the desk handed me a can of Raid and told me to go kill the bugs. The second room I was in for a half hour and there was a bug on my bed and on my lamp. This is after an hour of letting the air conditioning run after I was given a room with no A.C. A terrible experience. Unreal the lady at the desk handed me a can of bug spray to do it myself. Mind blowing that a business is ran like this. And of course no refund. I could not be more upset. It was 730pm on a FRIDAY night with no room. I had to walk across the street and pay 200.00 per night for the weekend. No call no email no nothing from anybody . Terribly unclassy. Ashamed .

Terrible motel, do not stay, very dirty rooms, not clean at all. slept in our clothes on top. fire alarm went off they obviously don’t do regular battery changing or even look at it. water was randomly shut off without telling us and no explanation on when it’s coming back on. shower head blew up when turned. front desk service was unapproachable, unfriendly and rude overall, don’t stay here

The bed frame extends beyond the mattress and I scraped both my shins real bad on them when walking around the bed. When on a cruise the next day and had to see an onboard doctor because I was concerned about infection. Cost over $300 to see him and antibiotics he prescribed. Was in pain for a few days so did not enjoy my time on the cruise like I could have. TV did not work either.

Favorite thing was the spacious room with two queen beds, great office space, nice bench area and night stands. Bathroom is small and the toilet handle is in a strange location and difficult to operate. Otherwise it's a nice place with friendly staff.

Room was okay but it smelt very off-putting. The staff at the front desk were absolutely terrible. Extremely rude and belittling. The lady was absolutely blasting music and being on her phone and completely ignored me at the front desk - then proceeded to tell me that she couldn’t hear me talk and that it wasn’t because of her phone. Unsure of what the policy is for customer service but these staff need to learn to be nicer and more respectful to guests.

Nice budget hotel well situated wen you are on budget. You have the mc donalds right in frond and a huge grocery store 2 min walk perfect for good budget meals. Hotels has big outdoor tables to eat. And few minutes walk to beach and restaurants. Hey its not the ritz but then again we go to Florida for the sunshine.

This hotel was typical for the area, but very old. Front desk was super friendly and helpful. The area felt a little unsafe, but the front desk staff was honest and returned a backpack to us that was accidently left in the lobby.

This is an older motel in a developing area about two blocks from the ocean. Yes the bathroom could use a good steam cleaning as the corners are dusty and dirty. Room was clean and bed was comfortable enough. Restaurants, pharmacy and grocery stores across the street.

For the money you spend, this place is great. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. A short drive to Lauderdale by the Sea and it’s amazing restaurants and nightlife. And the overall place is just a simple cozy stay. Nothing fancy but gets the job done

Ocean Reef is a great destination for those folks not looking for 5 star luxury and just want a nice, clean and friendly atmosphere. It is right across the street from a shopping center that has all your needs for a little longer stay. Only a short ride long walk to restaurants and nightlife. Stay. Play. Rest. Have fun in the sun. This place has that quaint older motor lodge vibe. Room was clean and comfortable. A little courtyard noise from groups and kids playing since I was on the main road and courtyard side. Dining and stores are easily walkable. Staff was kind and courteous.

The young woman at the front desk was super nice. Rooms were fine - dated but clean and roomy. We were there 1 night before heading out on a cruise. Quick walk to the beach. McDonald’s across the street for breakfast And FREE parking on site. The beds were comfortable and the room had a fridge/microwave.
