Fort Lauderdale Marriott North

It was my first time staying at this property and I was disappointed with the condition of the hotel being that it was a Marriott. The hotel just looks tired and definitely needs a refresh. I noticed the elevator was dirty, my room appeared clean but the curtain had a noticeable tear in it and the bathroom shower looked rough. I guess this is why this hotel was significantly cheaper than other hotels located downtown. I will not stay there again.

Checking in the staff was unapproachable unfriendly and not courteous at all got to my room was dirty food still on the floor. The toilet looked like it had been used by. Someone had to go to extremes of contacting the CEO of the company to get a resolution resolved, the staff used to be friendly, but the mail manager at the front desk was not maybe I was too dark a complexion for him to be friendly too you know what I mean.

The pool and spa were very nice amenities. Room was pretty clean and cold for good sleep. The staff were friendly and offered details about marriot amenities. The breakfast buffet was yummy!

Room was a bit rundown, not the usual Marriott quality
