Ocean Manor Beach Resort

The rooms were out dated, the pool was filthy, no towels for the beach or pool. The chairs at the poor and beach were dirty. Waste of money to stay here, i do not recommend!

Stayed here before it's just a great location. A great vibe you can hang out at the bar jump in the Pool. They have a bar there, a restaurant, the Italian restaurant, the food is excellent.

Pool could be cleaner

The stay was great, hotel is outdated, older property in this area, has a musty smell throughout hallways but the location is awesome. This hotel offers direct beach access, no crossing streets or highway...it has a bar, pool, you can rent beach chairs and umbrella and they set up for you on the beach. If you're looking for glamorous hotel this isn't it but if you want access to beach, bar and pool...look no further but rooms are average at best and restroom toilet is loud when flushing. Overall I would stay here again if my ultimate goal was just to enjoy the beach and oceanview

It has dated rooms. You get a free beach towel to use but need to rent the loungers and umbrellas. We had 6 burnt out/missing light bulbs in our room. If you are a room that ends in 17,18, or 19 get it changed. The elevator will keep you up all night with its dings everytime anyone calls for it on your floor, the floor below, or the floor above and there are four elevators so you do the math. One night there was a room that had two dogs barking for hours and management did nothing about it. They did let us store our luggage and check in early when we had an early flight. The location is nice. It’s a nice beach walk to Lauderdale-by-the-sea. Short walk from Winn Dixie and CVS for things you might need. The servers at the Tiki Bar are great!

Pool water was cloudy every day and was also very difficult to get towels for the beach.

The room was okay. The bathroom had stain all over the mirror and the toilet was not mounted right. It kept moving every time you sat on it. The pool was very dirty, it had feminine products floating and no did anything until it was brought to there attention. Tiki was great. I would recommend stay at the resort next door.

Was given partial room accommodations that were close to what we had reserved for which was ocean view. Quick tip: calling the hotel ahead of time to ensure the room being reserved is actually what will be given upon arrival. Also businesses around the area are closed after sunset for the most part and there is no front desk available during midnight time until after 7am.

We got the deluxe room and loved the ocean view from the balcony. The room was nice, I just wish it came with a microwave. But the room does have a mini fridge. Parking is valet only with a fee of $18 a day and paid with velvet at check in. The valet staff was great and along with the hotel staff. I would stay here again.

There is NO shuttle to the cruise terminal as the website says! It was ok if you need a place but we got there too late to get beach towels or rent chairs so that was disappointing. Not a places we will ever go again.

It’s an older property and the bathrooms are very small. The staff and reception folks were friendly and answered any questions we had. When we went to use our towels they had hair on them. There was also the strong smell of marijuana about the property.

Roaches in our original hotel room, staff and management refused to take accountability for said roaches. Took arguing with staff for them to even remotely think about moving us room. Management is a joke.

Dirty

If you like the smell of pot and fabuloso than you’ll love it there. The bed was tilted, the room are old and musty They had a refrigerator, no microwave the hair dryer didn’t work, the AC wasn’t cold The only great thing was the view from the balcony We definitely won’t be staying there again

Not clean worse choice of hotel

The property is extremely dated for the price. The floor, the bedding and the bathroom was not clean and we had no towels or wash cloths. This was not a good vacation for us and we probably will not return!

Beds and pillows were comfortable. However, our room's shower had a lot of mold on the tile grout. Bathroom needs remodeling. Nice large pool.

The hotel was not what was presented on Expedia rooms were not what we seen 1st room poor air conditioning toilet was bubbling over when u flushed we were afraid to use it. a wonderful gentlemen at the desk upgraded our room it was very nice but not clean looked like the sheets on the bed were never changed all wrinkled comforter also. no one ever came to clean or bring clean towels we had to ask . the pool area left much to be desired water had hair floating around and full of sand on the bottom never vacumed . around the pool was dirty also never cleaned or swept there was not one umbrella around the pool no where to get out of the sun . was there for 5 days never seen a cleaning person thru out the hotel with the exception of the 2 who came to clean the room after we requested it and they were nasty!!would never stay or recommend this place not what u think it would be

I had a nice room with a balcony and an ocen view. My room was somewhat renovated. I didn't like that the TV only smart tv channels and didn't have cable channels I need to use for my work during the day like CNBC. The internet was a bit shotty at times

This was our third stay at Ocean Manor. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location being right in the beach is great. The tiki bar on property has good food, drinks and fun atmosphere. The only issue we had this stay was the condition of the room. The furniture in the room appeared as if they were taken off the side of the road and other was broken and questionable to even sit on. The comforter was ripped with stuffing coming out of it. Each room have different owners which we were not aware of so you could be getting a room like this or a beautiful one that is well taken care of. We have have nice rooms in the past.

Room was pretty dated and the beds were very uncomfortable. Definitely didn’t look anything like the picture for my selection.

My room was as cold as an igloo. The thermostat didn’t change anything, even though I put the temperature higher. I asked at the front desk and was told that you can’t adjust the temperature. He said for the building, either the air conditioner is on, or off. it made it unbearable at night time. They did give me another blanket, but that did not solve the problem.

I don't think we had an ocean view but were charged for one. It was a pool view with the ocean behind the trees and roof of the side of the building since we were stuck in the corner. The central air sounded like a freight train. No microwave available so you had to pay out your ass to eay out or at tgeir bar and restaurant all of tge time. With a child that gets incredibly difficult. Just not worth the price.

Grate location , unfortunately the internet connectivity is terrible, i still dont understand how come, a hotel in miami doesn't have good internet!!!

Beautiful room. City view was stunning in the evening. Plenty of towels and room was very clean. Check in was a breeze. I was pleased with everything.

When I made the reservation, I booked a balcony room and that is what I paid for. Upon arrival to our room there was no balcony, but large windows on the outer wall. That is not what I paid for. The extra cost for a balcony room was not worth it!

Front desk check in was amazing. Even with spring breakers here. They upgraded us to a wonderful suite

The people at the front desk especially Bart was amazing. Upgraded our room not once but twice to make sure we were happy, because we had a late check in

Friendly staff, got an amazing upgrade with my friends to a double penthouse suite with floor to ceiling glass and amazing views of both the ocean and the canals. Very friendly and caring staff. Great location by the beach. All in all - a great stay.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Ocean Manor. Cindy, the front desk clerk, her supervisors, and managers were all professional and extremely helpful. We loved our room, the poolside cabana, the property location, and most importantly, the staff!!!!! Thank you for a wonderful mini vacation.

Brad at Front Desk was so nice. Got us checked in fast. This is a very lively place. With fun tiki bar / restaurant. Pool. Directly on the beach . See Alyssa at the tiki Bar for a great Frozen Beverage.

The staff was amazing. So accommodating. We did have an issue with the guy next door blaring his tv at all hours of the night coming through the wall. However when I called the front desk they were on top of it. They took care of it promptly. We go back to this area every year in April and we will definitely be booking this stay befor our cruise from now on. 😊

The power went out and there was no offer of compensation to make up for the last night spending in the dark. Staff was polite but for the night being ruined i felt there should have been some form of refund.

This place is in an interesting combination of condos that people live in or rent out on airbnb and hotel rooms. So when it says it's non smoking, that means that hotel guests aren't supposed to smoke in the hotel rooms but if there is a condo or airbnb next door, they can be smoking. On the floor I stayed on, there was A LOT of smoking going on. The staff of the hotel were friendly and accommodating. I was able to get an early check in, which was awesome. The food at the tiki bar was decent (I had breakfast there twice). The location was great. It's right on the ocean and they have beach access. Parking was fine. It was $18 per night to park. It's the same price whether you use their valet service or if you choose to self park in their lot, which is across the street. I had no issues finding a place to park in their lot and I didn't have any security issues in the parking lot. The room itself was ok. The beds were extremely soft. The standard double room included a mini fridge, which was great. Upon first glance, the room looked good but if you look around, I noticed that it could use some TLC. Also the walls are pretty thin because we could hear a lot of noise from other rooms and the restaurant, which I believe was right below my room. This was especially clear in the bathroom, where I could hear whole conversations pretty clearly. When we closed the bathroom door, it wasn't as loud. Overall, the stay was pretty good and the location was great.

Access to the beach was amazing. Easy to pay to use an umbrella for shade. I had a balcony and view was beautiful.

for a Floridian resident like me it's hard to impress me with pool or beach but this property have it all!! the location is perfect, the resort have all what you need to have a nice vece even for 1 day. i took a break from work and stay one night here and i had the best time, will be back for sure!!

Loved the tiki bar and loved how accommodating the staff was. Excellent pool with excellent poolside service I will be back here to celebrate my birthday next year again!

For someone who doesn’t like to search for places to go eat etc..while on vacation, this place is perfect. Great food, right on the beach, and nightly entertainment with so many people at the tiki bar

Helpful staff, nice tiki bar with good service, although the food is average and drinks not too strong - music was good and the service very friendly. Beds are ok. Compliments to the housekeeping staff - they reacted super-fast ton all requests - extra towels, shampoo, covers etc. It was done in 5 minutes. Beach is not well maintained and had seaweed covering a good portion of the sand Infront the ocean. You can walk to Lauderdale at the sea - 1 mile or take a shuttle service from there back to the hotel. Quaint town with few shops and many restaurants to choose from. There are bikes for rent near by and this would be a good way to get to downtown Fort Lauderdale.

Liked the large room and view. Front desk staff was great. Service at the Tiki Bar was a bit slow and it took quite some time to get table service.

i’ve never had friendlier service from the work and employees of this resort. Just very friendly, very sincere. also, I highly recommend the Italian restaurant on lobby slot of restaurant

Great food & service at the Tikibar! Hotel was clean but furniture in room scuffed/banged up. Beds very comfortable. Hallways smelled like weed - ew. Big pool and beach access amazing. Cricuit transportation (local uber) was free and fantastic. Bars/restaurants and beach. Not much else to do

We enjoyed our stay. Both the tiki bar and the Italian restaurant had good food, drinks and service. The view was beautiful and it’s located close to the center of Lauderdale By the Sea.
