This property is rundown, not cared for. The manager is rude and inconsiderate. He cursed at a child this morning during breakfast service. The pool is completely out of order which we were not told prior to our visit. The “breakfast” was fine yesterday and served cold sausage this morning no eggs, ect. Holes in the ceiling in lobby. Fire extinguisher boxes and emergency warning signs either broke open or none existent. Room number placards missing. Refrigerator in room had not been cleaned in who know how long it was moldy there was mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom. Many places a customer could fall and get injuried. Huge hole beside parking area where there must have been a tree at some point. Customer service rep at desk very slow and double charged my card and has yet to be refunded. Definitely would steer clear in the future

The building and rooms need alot of work repairing things. For example, our bathroom faucet barely had any water coming out, the room curtain was wrinkled and torn, the air/ heat equipment was too noisy to use, we went down for breakfast and barely any food was available, the drink vending machine didn't work. On the other hand the staff were excellent trying to make up for all the problems. When our taxi didn't show up, the hotel manager made a phone call and got us an Uber ride quickly.

Refrigerator did not work. No outlet for the microwave. Coffee pot was disgusting, grounds left in it and full of mold. No fan in the bathroom, made the entire room very damp and musty. Positives: Shower was hot, AC was cold. Negatives: Cracks in the exterior of every pillar we walked past, Pool had a strange film on top of the water and looked stagnant enough to breed mosquitos, Floodlights outside our room and no curtains meant it was bright enough to read a book by with all interior lights off, Fridge did not work, A burst pipe flooded the lobby and delayed our check-in by two hours, The computer system double-charged us for the room, Desk manager never checked us into the computer system, an oversight discovered when another couple was given keys to and entered our room, and oh yeah, COCKROACHES IN THE ROOM! I understand that this was a college football weekend, which would explain the $300 charge for one night anywhere else... which is exactly where you should stay.

The place was shady. The entire area smelled of pot/marijuana. There were shady people just hanging out in the parking lot. The entrance to the third floor, despite saying to use key for entrance, had NO security lock and anyone can just walk in.

A lot of drug users on the property. People smoking outside on the stairway. Pool was cloudy. The elevator was out of service the entire weekend. The floor in the hallway on the 3rd floor is damaged, a trip hazard. Very limited bathroom supplies. It used to be a very nice hotel, now it went down.

Simply put, this was single worst place I’ve ever stayed at. This includes a German youth hostel that had to be entered behind a dumpster. Mold/mildew, live bugs, flooring warped and separated, and the list goes on. I could share additional facts, but I think the point has been conveyed. I should have been paid to stay here, not the other way around.

The room was so dirty that our feet were black. There were cockroaches in our room. The sheets had stuff on them that I had to brush off. The shower had mold in it. The light fixture and towel rack were broken. There were no tissues in the tissue holder. For the price we paid for graduation weekend, we feel we were definitely ripped off. We are very unhappy with our stay.

The room conditions were unacceptable. The first room was infested with flies, and while the front desk moved us, the second room was only slightly better. The entire hotel had a foul odor, the elevator was filthy, and the 3rd-floor hallway door lock was broken, making security a major concern. Inside the room, we found dead cockroaches, foul-smelling towels, and no proper comforters on the beds. To make matters worse, water leaked from the ceiling in several places during heavy rain—we genuinely feared the roof might collapse. This property is beyond renovation; it requires a complete rebuild. Without a doubt, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

This property’s overall condition was terrible…we were first given a first floor room that was beyond filthy in every aspect ( mold, dust, dust bunnies, dead insets, ashtray smell, and 2 live roaches ). We notified the staff and they were understanding and accommodating. They moved us to the 3rd floor. We were told that the hotel was under new management and renovations were being made, and although we did notice that, it made us wonder why they would initially give us a substandard room - one that was obviously neither part of the recent renovation, nor has been cleaned… Even in the second room given to us, the pillows were mismatched ( and hardly could be called pillows ) and neither of the four had pillow cases. The iron’s cord was cut and had baked on crud on it. There was visible trash in the staircase the entire weekend as well. This was UF graduation weekend, and we were in Gainesville for my son’s graduation, so hotel rooms were tough to come by. We paid nearly $600 for the 2 night stay here, and felt robbed by the whole experience…. If you are the manager or owner of this property, and would like to see all the pictures I took, please feel free to ask…I have them.

Floors in my room were filthy. After taking a shower and walking across the floow it felt a bit slick. I looked at the bottom of my feet and they were black. I took shows ,went back to shower off and put shoes on. Front dedk guy alexander was great . But housekeeping needs to do a better job.

It was disgusting. So dirty with mould rampant throughout unit. Public Health should immediately close it down. TV and phone not working and overall shoddy room. I don’t have enough adjectives to describe it. Very surprised that Wyndham would operate a hotel like this. The only positive is the girl at the desk.

The light switch right inside the door didn't work and didn't have a plate. Also, one of the electric outlet plates was broken. There were holes in the sheetrock on the wall. The floor in the third floor hallway needs to be replaced as it looks like it was wet and felt swishy when walked on. But the staff was very nice and helpful.

The room was cramped. There were no tissues. The road noise was very, very loud. The hotel was like a painted over old Holiday Inn type with outside entrances. The AC was poor. No trash barrel by the bathroom. Of the few electrical plugs, several did not work. The hair dryer did not work. The freezer part of the mini fridge did not freeze. I am very surprised Wyndham would have there name associated with this property.

The location wasnt terrible. The condition of the hotel was definitely not tip top shape. We had 2 bugs, the lamps didnt have bulbs, there were big cracks in the flooring, i had to go get my own towels and bedding and the toilet flooded the whole room and would not stop running

The hotel staff was brand new and struggling to get their system to connect with third party reservations (Expedia, etc.). The manager was called. He arrived and proceeded to sit behind the desk, holding a phone to his ear for over an hour, without speaking to anyone on the phone or in person, or offering any suggestions to solve the issues. At one point there were 15 people in the lobby who had been there for hours. They should have gotten all of us into our rooms and then spent the night figuring out the hotel’s system issues. This was their problem, not ours. Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. After finally getting into our room, 2 hours later, we didn’t have towels, soap or a battery in the smoke alarm (which was beeping). We went back to the front desk and were given a battery. We found a cleaning person in the hall who gave us towels. Never got the soap. Will NEVER stay at a Baymont by Wyndham again.

The front clerk was literally drunk and locked himself out of the office and couldn’t remember the door code to get in so I could check in. After 15 minutes of watching him stumble and miss enter the code the only explanation he could muster was to shrug and mumble “ I don’t know what’s going on “. But here’s the best part the hotel and hotels.com refused to refund my money.

Outdated building in need of serious repair. Nadine at the front desk was outstanding as well as the young man who helped me with the TV. The breakfast was great, a lot of variety! However, The bed had no blanket, only sheets and was not comfortable. The lock to the 3rd floor entry door from the outside is broken and the key card was not necessary to enter. The floor in the hall is disintegrating, soft areas and missing flooring throughout the area. Also, there is no lock on the 3rd floor window?! My daughter opened it without having the unlock it.

Dirty, dated, and dilapidated. Cons: Constant traffic noise from I-75, the property is dirty, with a lot of litter, sketchy people showing up on the property, frequent police presence. (At one point, 6 Alachua County Sherriff cars were in the parking lot.) Pros: They are trying to fix up the rooms. The location was convenient for shopping and restaurants. The front desk people were helpful. Personally, I would never stay there again.

This place is run down and nasty. Noisy by the interstate. Had blowers going at 7 in the evening noisy. Hot water boiler was up and down. No hot water until 10 at night then none in the morning. Bright light in walkway shining in thought it was daytime. Breakfast was nasy burnt rubbery eggs and nasty potatoes that tasted like they were old and reheated. No juice. Other person long term said they've had no juice for a month. No lights on in breakfast room. No one at front desk to check us out. We had to take a picture to prove we left key cards. Not worth staying at even with lower price unless you are desperate
